Best Houlgate Hotels

Great location close to the beach. Stayed for three nights. Our room/townhouse (room 19) was excellent for a family of four. Clean and nice. Also a table tennis to use and a honesty bar where you can taste excellent calvados. We had an issue with the cleaning, but it was resolved perfectly by the hotel. Well deserves full points! Also good location to explore along the coast on day trips.

The hotel is very convenient because it is well located and has free parking. The rooms are clean, modern and the balcony with the chairs and the table are very valuable. The letter, however, should be changed: The hotel is a very good place to stay in the hotel. The litter is not worthwhile for a hotel to be positioned on a prestigious segment. - the draps are too rich - Cousins are too small and too soft and there are no extra cousins available in the cart (the cousins are found in hotels 2*) The bathroom is clean and modern, but the dust apple was not running.

une nuit dans une chambre/appartement. en résumé: accueil très formel mais avec tous ce qu'il faut savoir sur le site chambre: très propre, neuve, fonctionnelle, avec tous ce qu'il faut dans la cuisine. Petit bémol pour le matelas qui du fait du lit clic clac avait un ”creux” au milieu. piscine: très bien. Amplitude horaire trop petite (10h19h) pour les personnes qui la journée visitent ou se promènent SPA: 2 jacuzzis, un sauna qui était hors service et un hammam dont on ne savait pas se servir. Aucune explication. Dommage qu'il faille réserver des créneaux de 30min pour y avoir accès. On nous a gentiment renseigner sur des restaurants et magasins tout près du domaine. Rendre la chambre à 10h30 et assez tôt lorsque se sont des courts séjours ... Bon week end dans l'ensemble !

The riverside scenery is also beautiful. There is a coffee vending machine and a food vending machine in the hotel. There is also hot soup in the coffee vending machine. There is also a microwave oven that can heat food. The breakfast is 3.5 Euro per person, but because we brought a lot of food, we did not choose to experience the breakfast here, but the environment at the front desk including the restaurant is very unique. I chose the triple room when I booked it because it was cheaper when I booked it, and there was an extra upper bunk. There is a bottle of shampoo, bath, and face in the bathroom. I use my own. In addition, it will have a small soap and three disposable cups. There is nothing else. So if you need it, bring your own kettle, toiletries, etc. On the left side of the house is the lidl supermarket, leaderprice, gas station, and repair shop. It takes about 3 minutes to drive to a commercial center. There are supermarket intermarche, supermarket géant ******, brico selling tools, and garden supplies. Because there was a problem with our car, we found what we needed in intermarche and brico, so we found it before driving far, so we were very happy.

The rooms were great if you have a sea view. Really beautiful in the morning and afternoon. We wanted an easy meal so we went to the hotel bar. Waited half an hour before we were asked for drinks, no drinks menu offered, we had to ask for it and then another 20 minutes to get our drinks - a glass of cocktail and a bottle of wine. Only brought out one glass so asked for another as I was there with my husband. We ordered the food - dozen oysters, cheese platter and fries. An hour later the food arrived minus the chips. We had to ask for the chips 10 minutes later as they had not brought them out. No apology or anything said from the waiter. When we went to pay, not a single thank you for being patient or tolerant of their uselessness. Not even a thanks for dining. It cost us 130 euros for rubbish food and even worse service. So disappointing and will never eat there again. It would have been better to eat at the many restaurants in the village.

Stayed at the Hotel for 3 nights... had a balcony room with Breakfast included. Very clean, modern Hotel.. very relaxing, excellent, very friendly and helpful staff. Good quality buffet breakfast and an excellent pool with saunas and hammam. To have had an evening‘restaurant’ or light snack arrangement would have been a big plus, but not really that important as there were plenty of excellent restaurants available in Cabourg, which was walkable in c 20 minutes. Hope to return soon...
