Where do I start with this hotel, myself and my husband booked 7 nights for our anniversary, we were not expecting too much but were still massively disappointed. The hotel has potential to be a really lovely place with amazing views. Unfortunately, our view from our room was a mountain wall with graffiti on. We arrived at reception and whilst waiting to be booked in a guest was there complaining they had mice in their room (AGAIN!!), as you can imagine this wasn't a great first impression. The food was poor quality with little choice, the grill area was far too small for the size of the hotel, the atmosphere was non existent, no music around the pool, and staff were miserable and rude; in fact, a guest decided to play their own music around the pool and was told off by the staff despite it being quiet. I had read previous reviews that hotel staff are rude and I thought well the guests must be rude to them first but trust me, this was not the case here. They are just rude and miserable. The entertainment staff were terrible and only interacted with the Spanish speaking guests. Getting around the hotel is incredibly difficult as there are so many steps so anyone with mobility issues should definitely avoid. Fortunately, this isn't our situation, however, we still struggled with the sheer volume of steps. We spoke to people who did have limited mobility and they had been put on 6th floor even though they had paid and requested to be on the ground floor. Our room was only cleaned once throughout our entire stay and we had to ask for fresh towels, the bathroom was not cleaned at all. We also had glass on the floor upon arrival, presumably from previous guests that had not been cleaned properly. The hotel apparently used to be two hotels that they have recently merged into one, which makes sense as it is very disjointed, it took us 20 minutes to find our room as its so big and poorly signed, with no help from staff. This hotel is supposed to be a 4 star however, I am utterly perplexed as to how this has been rated so highly. Definitely would not come back, very disappointed.

I have lost count on how many times I have visited this lovely hotel. Each time I come back, its better and better. I cannot fault it. Its peaceful and great for re charging the batteries if you need to. I certainly did. The place is very well taken care of by the staff and its clear to see that they go out of their way to make a guest feel comfortable. I loved my room looking out to the golf course and each night I would see the stars lit the sky. It was beautiful. It was so comfortable and relaxing. I was on half board. Never tiring of the food as each night it was packed with many food options. It was always fresh and delicious. I loved sitting outside where Gofio the beautiful little cat would greet the guests by the door seemingly waiting to welcome them. She is very well behaved never bothering anyone. I always get so excited to see her each time i come back. The spa is beautiful and always smells nice. Its peaceful with the lovely Nayra who always has a warm greeting smile. Pedro who is a wonderful therapist for massage and he is highly experienced. I could go on but I guess you get the jist of it. It leaves me to say i cannot wait to come back to this paradise of a hotel. Thank you Salobre see you in 2025

I've stayed here many times - last time in september 2022. The staff at the reception are so lovely, and always give me a warm welcome and are otherwise very helpful. Early check-in, late check-out, room allocation, cant fault it - its usually no problem (depending on capasity of course). Stayed 2 nights this time, shortly after going to my room i got a lovely surprise delivered to the room. It was very much appreciated! Breakfast is wonderful, with everything you could desire. Staff there and in the pool bar was nice and helpful (minus one time at the pool bar, waited and did not get served). Im coming back in July this year, and cant wait!

We booked this hotel as we needed an extra night before checking into our main holiday. Pleasantly surprised at how lovely this place was. We had a pool level room with a huge terrace, very clean, well maintained. The only downside was only the bedroom had air conditioning and as we used the sofa bed (very comfortable) as well it was a really hot night! Excellent y friendly service and the buffet breakfast was lovely. But a long walk and multiple lifts … but wow the view from up top was incredble. We would definitely stay here again
