"I chose the Marriott Hotel Shaoguan for my business trip and it exceeded my expectations! As a newly opened hotel, the facilities are brand new. The room is minimalist yet stylish, with wooden walls and soft lighting creating a fantastic ambiance that's comfortable for both work and relaxation. The bedding is incredibly soft; after a day of business, lying down on it instantly relieved all my stress, ensuring a perfect night's sleep 💤. Its location is very convenient, close to Shaoguan East Station, saving a lot of commuting time. The breakfast selection is extensive, offering a good balance of carbs, protein, fruits, and vegetables. Service was excellent and incredibly responsive. From check-in to room service, everyone was highly professional."

"The building is very well built and maintained. Exceptionally clean. I was given an upgrade for a room on the 21 st floor, thank you! Two of the older staff on the front desk spoke English, the younger staff seemed very nervous around me as the only foreigner in town. I couldn’t find the gym. There is a pool, but only for the brave in winter. Handy location next to the mall and supermarket, not far from the the East bus station where you can go to the region’s main attraction. The hotel really needs a washing machine and clothes dryer for self service laundry. I found the bed very firm. Very good value for money."

"Great staff at the front desk. Hotel facilities are of good quality. Clean nicely scented rooms. Loved hygienic products provided: shampoo, conditioner, soap. Close to the Mall Town in case you want to go shopping or for meals. Definitely will come again."

"I was in Shaoguan for a couple of nights for business and enjoyed the hotel and location so much that I booked an extra 3 nights. The rooms are modern and clean with USD outlets. The 15sqm Double Room is pretty compact so I upgraded to a 25sqm Superior Double Room with QB when I extended. It has a proper desk if you need to use your laptop. The staff are friendly. Simple breakfast but enough variety and some Western options. The location is a short walk to a huge walking/shopping street and a large shopping centre with a supermarket and food court. It's also around the corner from a massive park with a kid's fun park and rides. If you want to relax the 7th floor of the Ramada Hotel nearby has a great spa and massage."

"The hotel is located within walking distance from Shaoguan High Speed Rail station.The front desk ladies are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is delicious, with chef-made wontons and needles per your order. The room is modern and spacious, with the most powerful shower head I have ever used in a hotel. There is also free poridge粥 severd at night. I highly recommend this hotel."

"My first time coming to Shaoguan and get to stay in this lovely hotel. Although location wise may not be in city center, but I love the quietness and everything in here make you feel super special. Huge breakfast buffet selection, friendly service, comfortable room size and super clean, that’s all I want from a hotel. ☺️"

Uniqueness and cleanliness. It's quite interesting that they have the room type of loft design. The room is spacious and the cleanliness is good. Bar. There are quite a few types of interesting craft beers which quite nice to try out. Cons: Amenities in room. There are only dental kits set up inside the room.They'll only provide the other amenities when you request. Varieties of food options in the restaurant. Too few varieties to be chose for breakfast and it's the same thing repeated. Only one option for each Chinese and Western cuisine and you choose either one."
