The hotel is very convenient for transportation. I stayed here on a business trip. It's only 10 minutes from Xintang Station, and it's very convenient to get in and out. The girl at the front desk arranged a good location for me. It's quiet and comfortable. The star hotel is really clean and tidy. The service is very good and worth coming again.

The front reception staff went beyond their normal check in duties by answering my various queries on direction to different venues and suggested better transport options which ease my travel and time. Ms Hikari Huo in particular even offered her phone number and asked that if I encountered difficulty to ask for help and get them to call her. That is very thoughtful of her.
The hotel also greeted female guests with gifts in the lobby on International women day.

Booked their 3 room apartment for our group of 5 girls. Totally love it. Apartment is big and spacious, clean and well equipped with amenities. We love the location, easy to get around and full of food in IFC mall just besides. Service is also tip top, they attended to all our request very politely. They are also very kind to send up a birthday cake during our stay. Really felt like a home away from home. Will choose it for our next stay.

The rooms seemed clean and tidy, but there was a musty smell in the room.
Although the pillowcase is clean, there is an oily scalp smell coming from the center of the pillow.
The air conditioner and wind blown out by the room's air conditioner have a musty smell.

DDonThe location is very good with proximity to plenty of eateries in K11 mall which is right below , near bars and close to all the major financial institutions if you are traveling for business purposes. I choose a room with canton tower view and the view was excellent ! Totally unblocked and you can view the entire 珠江area and is very beautiful at night when all the structures lights are on. The room were nicely decorated with Chinese style displays. The fascinating thing is the hotel actually provides the world’s best Dyson hairdryer unlike those typical 5 star hotel which only provides the usual 300w Phillips hairdryer which is weak. The only downside is the old TV and the limited unstable inhouse TV program and the long waiting time for check in.

I recently stayed at the Kyriad Marvelous Hotel (Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport) for two nights. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of the positive reviews I read online, which makes me question their authenticity.
**From the very beginning, the check-in process was unpleasant.** The staff displayed a rude and unwelcoming demeanor. When they provided the initial Wi-Fi username and password, it turned out to be incorrect.
**We returned to the lobby to address the Wi-Fi issue.** Instead of simply providing the correct credentials, the staff member became impatient and took our phone to set up the connection themselves. When we politely requested the username and password for our computer, they responded with a dismissive attitude, stating they ”already set it up” and questioned why we needed the information. We explained the initial credentials were wrong, and they finally provided the correct username and password written on a piece of paper, further demonstrating their lack of courtesy.
**Housekeeping was another area of disappointment.** After our first night, we requested room service. Despite confirming our room number and promising to clean the room later, housekeeping never arrived. Returning to the hotel in the evening, we found our room untouched. We ended up having to replenish our own water bottles and toilet paper.
**The airport fetching service we booked was another source of frustration.** We arrived in the lobby early for the arranged pick-up time. However, when the pick-up time approached, we were informed that the car had already left for the airport without us!** There was no apology or explanation for this missed pick-up. Thankfully, another driver was present in the lobby and was able to arrange alternative transportation to ensure we reached the airport on time. This incident was a stressful and concerning experience.
Overall, my stay at the Kyriad Marvelous Hotel was a frustrating one. The staff's unprofessionalism, the lack of housekeeping service, the missed airport pick-up, and the initial Wi-Fi problems significantly detracted from the experience.
**In light of this experience, I would strongly advise potential guests to manage their expectations and consider alternative hotels near the airport that offer reliable airport fetching services and provide a more welcoming atmosphere.**

If staying for 1 day, the breakfast is manageable but I stayed for 4 days and it's same everyday. They should keep more options for foreigners as well in Breakfast. I had to manage with Bread Omlette everyday. Language is a issue in hotel. Very difficult to communicate in English. They should improve laundry room. Free Airport Shuttle is a very good service they offer.
Little bit of rough long walking from/to the metro station and difficult if you carrying luggage.
ATM is just next to the hotel so that is very convenient.
Overall it's a decent place to stay.

But I was not happy with the sewer smell. It's silly to expect a bathroom to smell nice all the time but it really smelled so strongly of a sewer that the whole room smelled bad. There were also a lot of drain flies. Killing them was pointless because every day there were more.
