Best Guangzhou Hotels

"The hotel is located on a small street, which is relatively quiet and suitable for rest. It takes about 10 minutes to drive to Beijing Road and nearly half an hour to Chimelong. The hotel is very close to the subway. Generally speaking, the location is very convenient. The hotel room is large, European style, and the facilities are slightly old. We stayed for two nights. We didn't drink the mineral water on the first night. On the second night, we thought about the long-distance trip on the third day, so we asked for two more bottles of water, but they were not delivered. I hope the hotel will pay attention next time."

"Stayed in Guangzhou Ascott for 5 nights. Clean and spacious modern apartment with kitchen space, living space and bedroom segregated. Nice lovely welcome fruits (strawberries and blueberries) were placed on the dining table. Bottled water was refilled daily. Bedroom: Plenty of hangers, but the wardrobe space in room was too tight so we use the wardrobe space at the foyer. Bedroom space is too small for me to open-up 2 big luggages too so i used the living room space. King size bed with 4 pillows. Bed is comfortable enough. Kitchen: there’s a dishwasher, stove, fridge and washing machine (I think comes w dryer function too). Bathroom: separate space for bathtub and shower. Didn’t use the bathtub. Shower could be better if rain shower was installed. Basic amenities were available. Location: Opposite Tai Koo Hui. Short walk cross the road. Walking distance to Shi Shang Tian he underground shopping and malls. Nice spa and massage around the area too. Taxis are aplenty as well so it’s easy to get around Concierge: friendly and assisted to help collect Taobao parcels. Cute robots will assist to send parcels or food delivery to your door step. Breakfast: standard breakfast and I particularly enjoyed freshly made unsweetened soybean milk. Only downside is they are doing renovations so drilling noises can be heard from 9am onwards. Overall, it was a wonderful stay at a sweet price point."

"Nice hotel, near east train station. Facilities for the Guangzhou Fair very good, pick up and drop off at Guangzhou fair and service with snacks and cool drinks. The staff are friendly and the hotel is clean."

"Fantastic value for 5-star luxury! The Oakwood exceeded our expectations. Good location near the Parc Central mall (and many others). Staff were helpful when we found our room too warm (no aircon in the winter and our room was on the southside getting full sun). Did everything they could to solve the problem. We ended up extending our stay to 3 nights. We did not try the breakfast."

"We had a very pleasant 3 night stay at the 2 bedroom suite in Ascott. Suite has 2 toilets which was important for our group of 4. Kitchen was well stocked with glasses, utensils as well as laundry detergent for the washing machine cum dryer which was working well. We asked and hotel promptly sent up free bags of ice every night. We also ordered food and drinks delivery from ******* and each time items were delivered right to our door step by their robots. Special thanks to customer service Ivan who warmly welcomed and checked us in on the first night, answered all our queries and helped us book a car ride to the airport on the last day. He’s smile and helpful disposition really made our stay at Ascott very pleasant and memorable. Location: Metro and APM Line is about 5-10 mins walk and only less than 3 stops to central Tianhe shopping district. That being said we took Didi most of the time cos it was cheap. If you slowly venture and walk through the linked IFC Friendship mall all the way to the other malls you will discover plenty of food choices and decent shopping. Overall I would highly recommend staying at Ascott."

During check-in, the staff proactively asked about my needs and offered a ”Goodnight Gift Pack” containing a face mask, steam eye mask, earplugs, and portable disinfectant wipes—showing great attention to detail. Even more delightful was the free rental of commonly used items like charging cables, power banks, and curling irons. Forgot to bring cotton pads? No problem—the front desk had individually wrapped spare ones available. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, not only offering detailed recommendations for nearby dining options but also proactively helping print documents—exceeding all expectations! These value-added items were not only practical but also of great quality, clearly reflecting the hotel's commitment to enhancing the guest experience. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip and highly recommend it to all friends who appreciate thoughtful service!"

"The staffs are so friendly. Especially the cleaning ladies. 💕 Everything was so perfect, from the bed, the shower room, bathtub, the decoration and sceneries. The neighborhood is also nice and convenient. If I come to this city I’ll surely book this hotel again. The only comment I want to make is how I think they should clean the carpet and the sofa more thoroughly, I mean, the cleaning ladies did best at her jobs but it would be great to provide her with the vacuum that can clean the carpets with water. 🥺 By the way, truly truly recommend this hotel."
