The style of the hotel is modern, the appearance is unremarkable, the hotel is very clean, the bathroom is very good, the decoration of the room is very general, even a bit ugly, especially the curtains. But the important thing is to have air-conditioning. For those traveling to Switzerland at the end of June, air-conditioning is so important. Most hotels in Switzerland do not have air-conditioning. (35 degrees lasts until nine o'clock in the evening, indoors are usually hotter than outdoors.) The breakfast is quite satisfactory and acceptable. But there is no sense of being served by the waiter at all.

Were stayed 12 days traveling Switzerland on the scenic trains and this hotel has been by far the friendliest and best appointed hotel we have stayed in so far. From initial greeting with ice cream to checkout with a bottle of water and a cappuccino you couldn’t ask for more. Beautiful air conditioned room. Highly recommend

My room was not large, but perfectly adequate. The towels are not plush, but clean and completely adequate. The bed was a queen, perfect. Wi-Fi good & reliable. If you are a light sleeper you might mention that as there can be a bit of noise late (when the bars close?) and early in the morning (street sweeping?) No safe in the room, didn't ask if one at the desk.

My first thought is how this hotel only has 3 stars. The room was clean, nothing out of the ordinary. The bed was comfortable, maybe a tad soft for my liking. The noise from other rooms were quite low compared to other hotels I experienced. The staff were very polite and very serviceminded. Overall a good stay.

For anyone coming to visit St Gallen, we can highly recommend TouchBed City Apartments. The location is super centric, and our studio even had a beautiful view of the old town and the Abbey. The self-checking was easy and convenient, the building is modern and the studio was great! We loved having our own kitchen as eating out in Switzerland can be really expensive. The kitchen was super clean and very well equipped for cooking. The bed was comfy and the shower was also great. We can recommend this place for any type of traveler on both leisure and business trips.

The room is quite big, new and clean, the environment is sanitary, and parking is free. Although it is on the highway side, the soundproofing effect is very good, it is quite satisfactory for the transition overnight.

This is a lovely place that feels away from everything. It has spacious air-conditioned rooms with plenty of closet spaces and plenty of hangers (what a treat!) besides having a good nice size bathroom with a great shower. The beds are firm and with many elevators. The rooms also have balconies facing green fields with nice paths, swimming pool and lounging areas. Very peaceful. The breakfast is good and the staff courteous. What else can you ask for? There are buses a little way outside the hotel, so if one does not have own transportation this could be a drawback though. Recommended.

AAnonymous UserThe Valhalla Hotel is the best accommodation choice to St Gallen, just opposite the exit of the train station and a minute walk with large luggage. Compared with other hotels in Switzerland, the room is very large, the decoration is comfortable, the elevator is spacious, the breakfast is quite good, the service attitude is very good, but unfortunately, I booked it for one day, and the next day I had to move to a hotel starting with M next to it. I immediately regretted why I didn’t set it for two days. Because the contrast is too big. I highly recommend everyone to come to St. Gallen to stay at the Valhalla Hotel, the price is very high, and it can be said that you live next to the train station the only choice! Not one of them!

Lockers available for luggage storage, although a few more would be ideal (and you need 2 CHF coins to operate).

The hotel is relatively near the Olma Messe (about 10 minutes on foot). This also means it is not near the centre of St Gallen. When I arrived, the staff was pretty unfriendly, telling me they were waiting on me to close, even though I arrived more then 1 hour before closing time of the reception... Nevertheless, the room was comfortable and clean. There is a train line juste next to the hotel. With a room on the 4th floor and a closed window, I was not bothered by it during my sleep. The breakfast in the morning was good. All in all, this is a nice place to stay if you want to access the Messe easily.

La réception ferme à 17h mais il n'y a aucun problème pour récupérer la clé de la chambre dans une boite spéciale. Les chambres sont agréables, calmes. Le petit-déjeuner est un buffet où il y a du choix. Non, vous ne déjeunez pas à proprement parler avec les résidents puisque nous sommes installés d'un côté de la salle et les résidents de l'autre, et quand bien même, je ne vois pas en quoi cela pourrait déranger ! Le parking est gratuit, c'est un atout non négligeable, bien qu'il soit fermé entre 1h et 6h du matin. L'hôtel est super bien placé, tout à côté du centre ville et très proche des richesses de Saint-Gall. Seul bémol : Apparemment pas de grand lit pour 2 mais que des chambres à deux lits (rapprochés ou non).
