"There were solar panels installed right behind the cabin and building works for more cabins going on just passed them, however, this was not difficult to accept and the bush scene beyond these was lovely. The walks nearby are excellent and shops and facilities were close at hand. The pool looked amazing but was too cold for me on my trip. The staff were very accommodating and the cabin itself was very comfortable."

"I booked here at the last minute because I couldn’t get a room in one of the more ‘high end’ hotels. Yes it’s old, yes it’s quite run down. It was clean though and the location was great. It also has a really beautiful pool. I spent the previous night in one of those high end motels and hated it - the bed at El Lago was so much more comfortable and the AC was freezing cold (which I wanted). Overall I’d say if you aren’t fussy on the looks it’s worth staying there."

"It was a fine hotel good location you can walk to the park and water,walk to the shops and restaurants but tv didn’t have many channels and the car park ceiling was way to low also the bathroom is run down and needs renovations.Workmen started drilling concrete wall at eight in the morning forget about your sleep in."
