Lovely room overlooking the river. This is a good Motel for the price. Has everything you need including a microwave which is very handy. Nice & easy to get to off the highway as well. Would recommend & would stay again.
Plenty of space in our room, reasonably priced, and impeccably clean. Having a cot put out was no issue. Tea/coffee included. Toaster, microwave, fridge/freezer in room. Lots of safe room for our little crawling baby to get around after a long day on the road. The standout was the customer service though. We had to reschedule several times due to bouts of COVID preventing travel, and Harry at reception was so accommodating and easy to talk to. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay could be arranged, and even offered to shout coffee on arrival! (We only didn’t take him up because it was late evening when we arrived)

Checking in is hassle free, very straightforward. Lovely and very accommodating manager, Sonny. Stayed in a family room, adequate space for family of 4, has a veranda to sit and relax, and very convenient to grab your stuff from car as you can park just infront of your room. Everything you need in an overnight stay / stop over, room was clean and supplied with essentials you need. The motel has bits and pieces of train history and has a vintage vibe in every corner, the place is a bit dated but well kept and maintained. Would definitely go back again.
Stayed at Caravilla Motir Inn on a Saturday night as our niece was having her wedding reception at the rowing club which was only a 2 min walk away. Good size room with comfortable bed. Shower and the rest of the facilities worked well. Although it’s on a main road it was quiet at night. They do breakfast but it’s basic continental only. If you need something more substantial there are cafes 5 - 10 mins walk away. Pool looked very nice. Bottled water also supplied. I found it a bit strange that there was no allocated parking outside your room. Reception told me to park opp one of the service doors. If there’s enough car spots for all the accom units then I’m not sure why no allocated parking. If there’s not enough spots I guess you could find yourself parked out on the main road. Overall a good option to stay in Taree.
A small room but comfortable bed. Very quiet air con. It was ok for the price. Walking distance (1.5 km) to hotel bistros with good prices for meals. Could improve the tea and coffee brands. Noise from other rooms apparent but all quiet after 9pm.

Travelled with my elderly father, booked and received confirmation for deluxe twin room. I received a blank email from the motel 3 days prior to the booking, I replied informing them there was no message in their email and I confirmed my booking confirmation number but had no acknowledgement from them. On checkin I paid for the Deluxe Twin Room but given a 1x Queen bed room, went back to reception and manager told me there was a Twin room booking that had not yet arrived and could put us in that room however it was upstairs and I explained my father can not manage stairs and I noted ground floor room in booking. No apology or explanation as to why my twin room booking was overlooked/overbooked but he did offer a trundle bed for the queen room, which made it crowded in the room and bed not overly comfortable. As it was a one night stay it was ok but if we had stayed longer than I would have demanded to be moved to the correct room that I booked and paid for. Room was clean, tidy and renovated. No milk in fridge to have with coffee/tea. Could smell cigarette smoke from person standing outside our room. When booking a specific room type, you expect to get it, and because of this experience I’m not sure I would stay there again.

Outstanding
A great place in an amazing location, the children loved the pool and playground (and the short walk to the beach). The tents are luxurious, great beds and lovely linen. Its the best to go to sleep listening to the waves breaking and sitting outside by the BBQ in the evening looking at the brightest stars! The owners are lovely and will help you with anything you need. We will be back!
GGuest UserThe environment is very good, you can take a walk by the river in the morning, the room is also very large, there is a balcony. But the hygiene is not very clean, and there are dried stains on the quilt. The mattress of the big bed is spliced together by two single bed mattresses. The front desk staff was very good and very patient. The only downside is that there is no bottled drinking water.
GGuest Userok first up this is not a perfect park - it could use some TLC - especially given prices during peak dates. Having said that - the staff were amazing - and it was busy and they were still amazing There's treats at the local shop that's a nice walk from the park via a kids playground. Kids activities during the holidays. More than one pool and also a water play park, and a playground next to the jumping pillow so lots of different adventure locations, especially to have space between big and little kids. There is an indoor space for little kids (<6years), a separate kitchen, games room. The kitchen started to get very busy but there are BBQs scattered throughout the park with their own small shelters. The sites are large but very different - site choice is important - some sites have amazing shelter - bushes around them and uphill - some are completely open and downhill, a couple of sites are in the middle of the cabins, or back onto a swamp area, and some camping sites are far from the toilet block and border the road. But close to the lagoon – although a decent walk to the beach – which I don’t think is a swimming beach but we managed sandcastles. The park is huge - the map mentions 700m walk between parts of the park - there are two toilet blocks and laundries but that's still a long walk from the camp sites. Our site was open so we had a lot of wind and were downhill so water ran through the site - sadly a car using the space near us had their car mildly bogged and they needed assistance to pull out of the space (but given wettest year ever...fair enough). All in all it wasn't too expensive for the mix of facilities and the staff made the visit worthwhile.
GGuest UserEverything is modern. Someone really took their time and planned the layout and decor. There is so much space. You have so much privacy with a large ensuite off a bedroom that could fit 4 queen beds and two more on its own private veranda. Great views from living room, bedroom, or kitchen. You can open up the full length glass doors and expand the rooms to fresh ocean breeze and listen to the native birds in the bushland just meters from the second private veranda. Easy access and parking. The carpark is another example of the owners taking pride in the quality of the guests experience over the quantity of rooms that most motels try to cram in. You can drive in or out either entrance with large car spaces to reverse or nose in at 45° right up to the door. The car park is in the centre of the block so you don't have to look at your car covered in bugs when enjoying the views. Ok I'm taking to long for an online review. I'll wrap it up quick. The rooms have everything like washing machines and TV, lounge. Ultra high ceilings. Modern split system aircons. And OMG space. I'm going to take a photo to prove it cos I know people won't beleive me, they have polished timber floors. These people want you to enjoy your stay. They are friendly and professional with the highest standard of cleaning I've seen in a motel and somehow their prices are so cheap. I am definitely staying again and would recommend this motel to honeymooners who want high quality, the family who want to create memories, travellers who want comfort and accessibility or the cheapskates like me who wanted to save money. You won't find better. Lastly, with hand on my heart, I know it's a big call ”this place is better than the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas” well done to the owners and managers.
