I booked a two-bedroom tent room with its own swimming pool, and the children had a great time swimming. Three meals are included, breakfast is a buffet, and lunch and dinner are a la carte. You can have lunch on the first day or check out on the second day. The entire resort is in the desert, very quiet, there are many entertainment activities, and the sunrise and sunset are beautiful. The price is much cheaper than Anantara in Abu Dhabi. The main point is that there are not many people and it is very quiet. When traveling by car, please note that the entrance is right next to the highway, so don’t drive too fast.
WOW: For the Location WOW: For the Staff & Service WOW : For the Food and Beverages We have just returned from Al Maha, and it was heaven in the desert, a truly magical place. The level of attention to detail was exceptional, but the staff were the elements that made our stay utterly incredible. All members of staff were attentive and had a real sense of pride in their work, and even appeared one step ahead of what we required or even realised what we needed! The accommodation was, scenic , tranquil, and extremely private, superb. We would like to say a special thank you to the Chef’s and Kitchen Staff who not only created the most delicious and delightful cuisine, but also provided the best ever Gluten Free bread and pastries. This vacation was above and beyond our expectations and we would have no hesitation in recommending this surreal place in the desert.
We really had the best time in Moon retreat, it was our first time and definitely not the last. :)
This glamping experience in this hotel was one of the best memories we have had so far. my kids were so delighted to experience the private plunge-pool. the ameneties were beyond to our exceptions, The reception was very friendly and the whole staff. we arrived early thou had the chance to check in 30minutes earlier than expected although there were fully booked. the location was sooo amazing. from the star gazing at night and movie night with the kids, the hotel arranged a hot chocolate and bonfire for the guests whilst watching and the very cosy set up under the stars were a plus almost slept outside thou... The next morning we had a very beautiful sunrise next to our tent, the mountains view and the landscape were so amazing. the tranquility and the nature, we went for a walk with my kids. and to be honest this place was an absolute retreat. Never had such an amazing feeling about Sharjah because it was our very first visit and we have never regret it. there were beautiful camping sites too. :) I really love the place, i hope the management and the team will keep it up. cant wait for our next stay in winter perhaps.
