When traveling, a good stay is crucial, and this Ritz-Carlton certainly lives up to its renowned quality. The public areas are grand and elegant. I particularly loved the floral arrangements throughout, which coincidentally featured my favorite pink and green palette and were beautifully composed – I was told they come from the hotel's own flower shop on the first floor.
The rooms are spacious, the amenities are excellent, and attention to detail is evident everywhere, making for a very comfortable stay. Room service was also very meticulous. My friend and I stayed for three nights, and we made sure to set aside time each day to return to our room to brew tea and chat, which was incredibly relaxing.
The restaurant's cuisine was also very good, and the staff service was impeccable. They even made a follow-up call after we checked out to gather feedback and suggestions, which was a very thoughtful touch.
I have two small suggestions for the hotel to go from great to exceptional. Firstly, the fragrance in the public areas was a bit too strong. It had a very intense, 'salon-style' scent that, to me, felt a little artificial. This might just be because I'm particularly fond of the more subtle fragrances used by hotels like Kerry and Shangri-La.
Secondly, the quality of the disposable toothbrushes in the room was quite poor. All the other amenities were so good that the toothbrush really stood out as subpar. The toothpaste also had a strange taste. Honestly, a standard brand like Colgate or Zhonghua would be much better; there's no need for unusual brands. The mint flavor was lacking, and the bristles were harsh. I would have brought my own if I'd known. I strongly recommend the hotel upgrades its toothbrushes and toothpaste.
Aside from these minor points, everything else was excellent, and I have no other complaints. I would definitely choose to stay here again and highly recommend it!
