Holiday Inn Properties in Chengdu

I really have to give a huge thank you to Lucy, the hotel's loyal customer manager. She reached out to me before my business trip stay and ever since then, whenever I'm in Chengdu and stay at the Holiday Inn, Lucy takes care of everything in advance – room assignments, invoices, you name it. I don't have to worry about a thing. Because of her, I now exclusively stay at the Holiday Inn when I'm in Chengdu. This time, I came with a few friends for May Day, and Manager Liu (Lucy) once again arranged everything perfectly, and my friends were all very satisfied. Since it was a leisure trip this time, I actually had a chance to notice how detailed and interesting the hotel lobby's decor is, with a distinct Chengdu feel. Even though it's more of a business hotel, the service and attention to detail are consistently excellent.

The front desk staff, Leila and Eva, were incredibly warm and patient. Check-in was quick and hassle-free. Their service was enthusiastic and attentive. I've stayed at this hotel multiple times, and overall, everything is excellent. Parking is convenient, the entire stay is comfortable, and it offers great value for money. Definitely worth returning to.

Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at the Holiday Inn. The location is convenient, very close to Shuangliu Airport. The receptionist, Xiao Chen, not only processed my paperwork quickly but also consistently addressed me by my surname. Other hotel staff also greeted me warmly. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, the view was beautiful, and there was even a laundry room. I would definitely stay here again if I had the chance.

This was my second stay at the hotel, and once again I was very pleased. The room size is generous, and overall it offers excellent value for money. The bed was very comfortable, and since I was on a work trip, I especially appreciated having a proper desk and chair, which made it easy to settle in and work. One thing I particularly value is that the non-smoking floors are genuinely non-smoking—something that can’t always be taken for granted, especially based on some past experiences I’ve had in China. The breakfast was very extensive, with a wide range of options catering to both Chinese and Western tastes. There was a large selection of cooked dishes, as well as Western-style items including bread, butter, jam, cereals, fruits, vegetables, and pastries. Overall, the variety was impressive and generous. From my perspective as a vegetarian who includes dairy, one small improvement would be the addition of cheese, which was missing. I also noticed that, despite the strong Western offering, cutlery was not always readily available and I occasionally had to ask for it. That said, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the coffee was excellent. During my first stay, I also tried the late-night snack option, which I found quite interesting. It mainly consisted of noodles and dumplings, though most options were meat-based. Including a few vegetarian choices would make it more inclusive. A special mention goes to Ryan Jiang, who was incredibly helpful throughout my stay. He assisted me with sending packages via courier, helped arrange an extension when I decided to stay longer, and even upgraded my room and included breakfast when I rebooked. His support made everything smooth and stress-free. I also appreciated the small touches, like having fresh fruit in the room after a long day out. Additionally, I had medication that required refrigeration for the time that I had checked out and until I re-checked ( I had travelled for one day to Chongqing and back), and the concierge team handled this without any issues. When I needed help connecting to the internet, the reception staff responded immediately and went out of their way to assist me—everyone was attentive and eager to help. Overall, this is a hotel I would definitely choose again.

Room was great. Breakfast spread was good. Combination of local and western. They have coffee machine that provides for takeaway, convenient for the on-the-go. Located at the outer 3.5 ring from centre of Chengdu. We stayed here for 1 night before heading north west.

The hotel's location is super convenient, making it easy to get around and find places to eat. The room itself was clean and odor-free, and the bathroom was dry and tidy. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The staff were friendly and responsive, offering thoughtful service. The facilities are well-maintained, and the soundproofing is effective. Overall, it exceeded my expectations for value for money, and I'd definitely choose to stay here again.

First time staying here, and the hotel's facilities and service were beyond standard – it felt like a five-star experience, haha, even if it's a bit older. The front desk service was excellent; a special shout-out to Rara at the front desk for bringing me a late-night snack, even if it was all carbs. Plus, booking through Trip.com was super smooth! 😀😀😀
