The location was excellent. Just steps to malls, metro line 2 and 3. Some rooms have views of the IFS climbing panda. Will definitely recommend and return should we return to Chengdu again.

For a 3-star hotel, Xiongmao Viewing Hotel is definitely a good choice and worth what you pay. Advantages: 1. Convenient Location: The hotel is very close to MRT Chunxi Station (Line 2 & 3). It shares the same building and elevators with Zenec International Hotel, and you just need to head up to the 28th floor. 2. Shopping Paradise: It’s within walking distance of major shopping sites like Chengdu IFS, Taikoo Li, and Chunxi Loo—perfect for shopping enthusiasts! 3. Flexible Luggage Policy: You can leave your luggage at the hotel if you’re planning a trip to Jiuzhaigou and return to pick it up or stay again. Disadvantages: 1. Limited Elevators: There are only two elevators, which can lead to long waits during rush hours. 2. Soundproofing: Some noise from adjacent rooms can be heard, but it’s not a major issue. Overall, Xiongmao Viewing Hotel offers excellent value for its price, especially given its prime location. Great for travelers looking for convenience and affordability!

Mix feeling if this hotel Located in a old building with lot of people using the lift But location is good Room is clean but aircon not working properly Request to make aircon colder but was told that whole building is like that Room aircon is between 24-28’c Request change room was told all room aircon is like that too

The room is not that much clean. The location is pretty close to metro. It’s valued for money. By the way, the staffs are friendly, they are willing to help for any requirements such as washing clothes.

Reached quite late on the 1st day , stsying for 2 night before heading to JiuZhaiGou, the hotel staff was very friendly and upgraded our room to viewing IFS panda room. Room was very spacious and clean enough . Highly recommended for those traveller to Chengdu to choose this hotel as it's vy convenience walking distance to metro , surrounding with plenty of good food , places to shopping . That will be plus point if the hotel provide laundry services.

The Accommodation and the room was really nice with good view seeing the Panda IFS tower directly from the room. A really great vantage point. The staffs is really nice and is willing to help even with a language barrier😀 The staff was ready to help 24-hour and you can check out at all time such as in my case was at 04.00. The entrance is quite hard to find because it’s inside the Zenec International Building at the 28th Floor. The entrance is behind the building near the parking spot

The hotel is very clean and located at the very nice location .The hotel staffs are friendly and kindness. We enjoyed the view so much 🫶🏻

Lift is a little congested. Other than that. Great for a short stay!

Unpleasant experience at hotel with service staff Received notification from hotel that the room I booked was too small a few hours to arrival. When arrived, the receptionist informed that the room I booked was too small and recommended I pay for an upgrade and switched to a bigger room. He had us convinced the room could only accommodate 1 person. We asked him to show us the room for comparison. It was then that we realised it was already occupied and the room smelt like smoke. He then say that I made a booking of a room that was on offer and it was not often taken. Hence it was used by hotel staff. He said he could clean the room immediately and we could use it if we insist on the room or offer full refund. It was 6pm in the evening, we were tired and just wanted to check in. His tone was also getting increasingly aggressive. As we only had a night at Chengdu and didn't want to kick up a fuss, I paid for the upgraded room. The panda king room i selected was cosy and could fit both my husband and I for the night. Unpleasant experience with service staff. Felt pressurised to pay for the upgraded room so we didn't have to seek an alternative and really just wanted to check in for the evening and rest before departure the next day. Hope the management would look into this situation. If staff needs a room to rest, please ensure the room is not up for public booking to avoid such unpleasant situation for all.

First we stayed for 4 nights, then went to Jiuzhaigou. Hotel with luggage storage service. Continued to stay for another 3 nights when back to Chengdu. Hotel location is good, very close to all kind of transportation, food and shops. Room is same as the photo advertised. Airport bus nearby about 5 mins walking distance, metro entrance A across the hotel and taxi stand outside of the hotel. Hotel is at 28th floor, we slept well, quiet and clean room. No smell. We have no problem with the elevator although saw some negative comments.

The location of the hotel is great, the room is not that big but enough, easy to find and get around

Great view from our room and strategically located in the heart of Chengdu! Highly recommended!
