Lone Pine, Penang, A Tribute Portfolio Resortis a good place to stay,quite and relaxing..... The room was large, comfortable with a large balcony and acing the sea. Breakfast great. Staff excellent.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, and I really liked the environment. However, the room was a bit damp — the towels and pillows had a musty smell, and the floor felt sticky.

Stayed at Lone Pine for a short getaway. The colonial charm and beachfront setting were definitely the standout features. The room was spacious with a balcony and daybed, giving it a relaxed, resort vibe. If you appreciate heritage charm and want direct beach access at Batu Ferringhi, Lone Pine still holds its value — just don’t expect a modern luxury resort experience.

The service throughout our stay was warm and attentive. We felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. We will definitely revisit and look forward to our next stay!

I have always wanted to stay at Lone Pine after seeing the photos of the hotel. I did it, and I was not disappointed. I love the concept, the serenity and the facilities it offered. I also loved the breakfast. Very relaxing environment. I will sure to return to the hotel soon.

Always my first choice in Batu Feringghi! Stayed here 5–6 years ago and came back again — everything still looks the same, which feels familiar and welcoming. Guest relations service is good, and the pool is nice and well maintained. The only downside was the free welcome drink redemption — went to the café but there was no staff around, so I had to wait quite a while for someone to appear. But honestly, that’s just a small matter compared to the overall experience. Still a lovely stay and I’d happily return!

Beautiful property with nice garden. Rooms are spacious and all come with a bathtub. Great, friendly staff. Will be back.

Place so cozy and nice, just that my room didnt get full view of beah cause the pine tree too tall

I enjoyed my stay at Lone Pine. Surprisingly, my room was ungraded, hence the enjoyment and excitement to have such a nice spacious room to myself. Bed was comfy, and there's a bathtub at the corridor so u can sit and relax, enjoying the sunrise/sunset from ur room balcony. Breakfast was good and a selection of juices..love it. Will come back again.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The location is great — close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. Staff were polite and helpful. However, the soundproofing was poor, and I could hear noise from other rooms or the hallway. Aside from that, it was a pleasant stay and I would still consider coming back.
