"Ollen is an excellent location on the fringe of Catania city, which is readily accessible by car. The hotel is comfortable, clean and modern with a private secure car park. The staff are exceptional in that they are caring, helpful, friendly and hugely enthusiastic. Special thanks go to Marianna, who is especially helpful and warm - and speaks excellent English. Also Alfredo, who made us feel very welcome on our arrival and then there is Guiseppe providing excellent evening meals. The ladies at breakfast also deserve a mention for their excellent service and company. Beyond the city, which is worth exploring, there are plenty of interesting destinations north, south and west to visit. Just a great place to stay and a great region of Sicily to visit. "Let me start by saying that check-in is from 2 PM. My husband and I arrived after 10 AM due to an early departure from Poland. We had no problem with early check-in, for which we're very grateful to the host. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the views were amazing. The people who worked there were very, very nice. I felt right at home. The food was very good, and the prices were quite low. The pizza was the best I've ever had. The chocolate-pistachio dessert was my favorite. I recommend this place to everyone. We'll be back, this time with the whole family."

"Was an excellent location. Great security door locked all the time. Right in the middle of everything. The square, fish market and food. Easy to get to by taxi $$$ or close to bus route $ not to hard to roll your luggage. Location could also arrange car service. Breakfast was excellent and could request items. Room was well lit and had enough plugs. Also, a/c was able to keep room cool."

"It's very close to the city center and easy to find. Email communication went smoothly initially, but unfortunately, the building doorbell was broken when I arrived, causing a slight delay. Once inside the room, I immediately felt relieved; it was a very cozy and homey guesthouse, making me feel right at home. The owners weren't there, but I checked in myself with the key on the door—everything went smoothly. The room had a super classic little balcony with a panoramic view of the main street. The sunlight streaming onto the balcony was perfect for taking photos. The next morning, I went to the kitchen for breakfast and discovered the owners were an elderly couple, very kind. They had prepared a beautiful buffet breakfast. The dining area was small but exquisite; I chose a seat by the floor-to-ceiling windows, a very comfortable place to eat. After breakfast, we were asked to check out at 10:30. Having nowhere else to go, I sat in the hallway living room to rest and happened to witness how meticulously the elderly couple cleaned the room—I was amazed! They were even more meticulous than I am when cleaning my own home! They finished cleaning at 12:00, and I left the building with them. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Catania for the first time."
