If you're looking for an overnight stopover, this is definitely a good choice."

"My friend and I are traveling around France for a couple of weeks. We picked this hotel based on reviews and price. It was a good location to drive to Omaha Beach and the surrounding area. We each had a room with a king size bed, a very large bathroom with a wonderful shower and separate large tub. Free Coffee, tea and water provided in the room and a small refrigerator with snacks and drinks available at a modest price. Beds were very comfortable and room temp was great. Very quiet location and free parking. The best thing was Julia, the front desk staff person. Extraordinary service and assistance with everything we needed including ordering Thai food from a local restaurant because the restaurant was closed on Sunday night and Monday night, the two nights we were there. She deserves a GIANT Thank You and a Gold Star! I would definitely stay there again if I ever return to France."

It’s clean and modern but no frills (not even a tea and coffee tray). But the price reflects this for the lovely location, you could borrow things at reception and we didn’t need a kettle when we could wander out in the morning, to the view of the castle above us, for a coffee and croissant in one of the nearby cafes. We emailed to reserve one of the 3 parking spaces when we booked and it was well worth the €10 per night for the convenience right in the centre. A perfect getaway in a beautiful area of Normandy just 20 mins from the ferry from Portsmouth!"

"Made a same day booking for a Friday night. Tried to check in but wasn't able to as the doors were locked. Called the number on the front door for a late check in and was rudely told that there were no staff on the weekends, check my email for check in instructions. I received the check in email 5 days later, for reference. While on the phone with the staff trying to come up with a solution, the call disconnected. I emailed for a refund and was told it was issued, it's been over two weeks now and I've followed up twice with no reply. Do not book this hotel last minute on a weekend."
