Quiet. Very close to the World War II Museum in Caen. Free parking at the hotel. About 10 minutes drive to the city center. Roadside parking in Caen is very cheap at night. You can park all night at 0.3 euros. It is also close to Bayeux and about 1 hour to Utah Beach.
Good hotel, gentle staff.
It is located in a quite central area.
My room was a single, quite small but clean, but it was very special to have a bathroom shower in the bedroom, so who used the water had no great privacy.
I don't know if it's just a characteristic of individuals, because I was traveling only so I didn't have any needs for privacy
Breakfast was good, all in the good average.
It's an aparthotel; I booked a studio apartment. It's fairly clean, though I don't understand why the bed is a fold-out sofa bed. Regardless, it's more than adequate for one night. We parked on the street right on the corner of the hotel. The location is convenient, a 15-minute walk to the city center. I don't know about the service, because we didn't speak to reception again after checking in. There was no one there when we checked out; in fact, they told us to leave our keys in the designated space.
Hotel is not bad, French chain, quasi three stars, room is small, breakfast is ok. About 10 minutes from Kaoang Railway Station, we walk about 40 minutes. Because the city does not seem to be big, so walk to the World War II Memorial for about 40 minutes, when the city should be built in the subway, it looks a bit messy. There is a Chinese restaurant selling beef noodles nearby, which is quite authentic and the price is great.
