Location is good. Alot of eateries just below the hotel. Very near to BIFF square and various markets. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Even gave us a free upgrade! But not sure why only gave us 1 bath towel and bathrobe for a 2 person room. Overall it was a pleasant stay here! :)

The room is very good, bigger than the one in Seoul, there are many restaurants nearby, it has a lively atmosphere but not noisy.
The aunt at the front desk of the hotel is very proficient in using the translation software. I really want to ask what app it is but I forgot. When we left, she took the initiative to ask us where we were going and whether we needed a taxi, and then she quickly went out to help us stop a taxi.
The aunt and uncle at the front desk were smiling every day, and I felt the beauty of Busan

It was helpful to have them leave our suitcases there. All the staff were smiling and helpful. The location was good, we could go to the International Market right away, and there was a convenience store right in front. The bus stop was about a 2-minute walk away. We could go back to Busan Station.
The train was about a 3-minute walk from Jagalchi Station Exit 3.
There was a bathtub so we could relax after walking.
The room was spacious so we could open our suitcases.
There were 2 adults and 2 middle and high school students, but we had a triple bed and a thin futon. Was it because we were paying the child rate? ? Maybe it was because it was expensive, so that was a bit of a problem. If it was a child rate, it could have been a little cheaper overall.

It is a clean and quiet accommodation. I recommend it if you are traveling to Nampo-dong and Yeongdo. It is very close to the Kkangtong Market.

Stay away from this hotel.
We arrived at this hotel at 5pm and when you get the room key, they only give you one key, so it's very challenging if you are a group of 4. As soon as we entered the room, we smelled a bleach or some other chemical, we didn't know what it was. We asked to change rooms and after some debate, the hotel agreed. At night, before we put the kids to sleep, my husband checked the beds to make sure they were okay. We found hairs all over the sheets and ** on the pillows! We felt so disgusting! As it was late, we couldn't check out, so I asked them to change the sheets, but all their staff smelled like cigarettes, so my husband and I changed the sheets on all our beds alone!
That wasn't enough, it was extremely noisy in other rooms at night, people dragged furniture, had parties, smoked all night, and we didn't sleep for a minute the whole night. When we asked to check out, they refused, even though we didn't want to stay there for an extra night.
We booked another hotel despite the hotel's denial of any responsibility.
Don't choose this hotel, there are many better options in town.

Because of my negligence, I booked one night less, but fortunately, I found out that I booked another night before departure. The night before the end of the first order, I asked the sister at the counter if she could continue the next order without checking out. The sister at the counter said that in principle, she would check out at 12 o’clock and check in at 3 o’clock, but because I was traveling with a child, she agreed Save me from checking out and checking in again. Sincere thanks, because Busan is really hot these days, the help at the counter really makes people can't help but add 100 points for Busan!

I was honestly surprised when I saw that this hotel was only 2-star rated, because it felt like we got a really good deal. The room was HUGE and the bathroom was one of the biggest bathrooms I’ve seen in a hotel. The giant spa bath was a hit with our son. The hotel design was really cool, it kind of felt like we were staying in our own little apartment. There is an entry to take off/put on your shoes and food deliveries were made directly to our front door. We did find the lighting situation a little confusing as there were 2 separate wall panels and an all-in-one remote that could control the tv, air con and lighting. Each night it took us a few tries to switch all the lights off. Not a major issue, but just something to be mindful of. I assume the whole setup was designed to be quite traditional, so the mattresses were rock hard and not great on our joints. Probably not an issue if you’re used to hard mattresses or futons/floor sleeping but was a bit uncomfortable for us as we are used to memory foam. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the endless food options available nearby. Staff were friendly and used translators to ensure we understood everything.

Hotel Marcher has a lot of things going for it. The rooms are among the biggest I have seen for hotels in Korea. They are clean and functional, and they provide all the necessities for a comfortable stay. The hotel is in a busy section of Busan and it is convenient to tons of restaurants and street activity, so if you like to be in the center of things, this hotel is a good choice. It is also close to the Line 1 metro and is only a few stops away from Busan Station. Staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. What keeps this hotel from a higher rating is the lax attitude toward smoking in the rooms. Marcher bills itself as being a smoke-free facility, but my room was very smoky when I checked in. The hotel was completely booked that night, so I had to sleep in a room that smelled like a dirty ashtray. Unlike other hotels that provide written warnings of fees if you smoke in rooms, there are no such messages at Marcher. Even when I was moved to a different room the following day, I could still smell cigarette smoke in the hallways and even seeping in at times to my bathroom. Smoking seems to be at epidemic levels in Korea, and it appears that Hotel Marcher is hesitant to fight what seems to be a national norm. If you don't mind the smell, this hotel is excellent. If you need a smoke-free environment, I would look elsewhere.

To begin with, I must admit that the hotel is ideally located, in a very lively area, not far from the metro and that the price is very attractive. The room is large, equipped with air conditioning, a mini fridge, a kettle and a large TV on which you can connect to Netflix or YouTube. As for the reception, he is smiling even if no one speaks English, they get by with translation applications. On the other hand: - even if there are 2 of us in the room, they only provide one large towel (and what's more, it was so worn that it had a hole), - the bed is as hard as a rock, - the air conditioning fan is very noisy - the sound insulation is terrible, you can hear people in the street, but also other occupants and the sound of falling water at unusual times (as if people were taking a shower every days at 1 a.m., the sound is so loud that I had to check that it wasn't coming from our own bathroom) - the lights on the switches stay on all night so we're never completely in the darkness In short, if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs and a mask to cover your eyes. And you don't have to worry about back pain because this mattress is the hardest I've ever seen, you'd almost think you were sleeping on a futon on the floor! It’s really its ideal location and its very affordable price that saves the bill.
