"Have two rooms for 5 nights here (#101 and #104) and we are quite pleased with the hotel: good location very close to our conference venue(also walkable everywhere we need to go during the week), pleasant refurbished rooms with a kettle and a laptop size safe box, and a buffet style breakfast in a cosy breakfast room. The team are absolutely lovely at reception and breakfast, always very cooperative & friendly. Thank you for your kindness during our stay! If you are a light sleeper, it's a good idea to avoid rooms ..04, ..05, ..06 and ..07 on floor 1 and maybe on floor 2 as well: there is a discotheque next door operating Wednesday through Saturday and they seem to play music quite loud until 4 am - had to buy quality earplugs to get some sleep. However, there is no noise from the street nor the neighbouring rooms, it's just the music next door. All in all, a quite pleasant experience at the Originals Boutique Hotel de la Paix."

"The decoration and layout of the hotel are superb. Dark colors which give a modern and classy atmosphere. The room itself is really very large and pleasant. In terms of equipment, an espresso machine and a kettle are available in the room with 2 coffee and tea pods. Access to a gym is possible until 9:30 p.m. The only downside: access to the swimming pool for a fee, 25 e per person and for a limited time... Too bad. This spoils the picture a bit..."

"I stayed at Hotel Agena for 5 days during a work trip. It was pleasant, clean, and quiet, and the location is extremely convenient. The amenities in the room were basic, and I missed some of the standards (hair dryer, kettle and cup for making tea). Nice breakfasts. Comfortable beds, proper table for working. Would book again."

"This hotels location was extremely convenient. Right in the middle of Brest close to all amenities. It was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast every morning was good. We stayed for four nights. Customer service however was questionable. The lock on our hotel room was faulty, our keys would only work once, allowing us in to our room, but each time we left it wouldn’t allow us back in. We were on the 5th floor so this was inconvenient as we’d have to go back down to get another key. The man at reception accepted that it was the fault of the door, but unfortunately after a while we started to feel like a nuisance. Nobody addressed the matter or in anyway tried to compensate us for our inconvenience. Also when we told him the cleaning staff left our hotel room door open, he said that he would alert them to their mistake, but otherwise showed indifference to their error and to the care of our belongings. Such a pity"

"Perfect location wherever you’re arriving from - visiting by boat and berthed in marina or by road or train this Mercure is ideally located. Lovely staff both in reception and housekeeping. Clean comfortable bedrooms with separate w.c. and shower room - both en-suite. Buffet breakfast is good and economical considering there’s only a few alternatives nearby. Would stay again."
