"The hotel is close to the interstate and you can hear it. There are truck parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. The drivers hang around in the evenings. That may be a bit unsettling for some people. During our stay, 60 new windows were delivered. Probably to reduce the noise level in the room. The hotel's furnishings are showing their age. In my opinion, the carpets in the hallway urgently need replacing. They are simply disgusting. There is nothing to complain about in terms of cleanliness. The breakfast is typically American. Nothing special. The cornflakes were of poor quality. Breakfast ends at 9 a.m. punctually. After that, there is nothing else. The friendliness of the staff is OK. The elevator is old and rickety."

"I don't like having to walk so far with heart problems just to leave because there's only one way in or out. Plus being locked in can be a bit overwhelming. I walked out thru the exit next to my room and all the gates were locked to leave and come in. I can understand entry at night but not being able to leave was frustrating unless i walked all the way around to the front. Felt like jail . and smell was terrible near elevators and hallways. Musty. Besides being stereotyped the service was great. "

This newly updated villa is one bedroom (with queen size bed) one bath with walk in tiled shower and fully functional stocked kitchen. There is a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. The front patio has stunning views of the mile wide Manatee River. The back patio has a fabulous garden view complete with palm trees and a century old Live Oak Tree with babbling waterfall underneath. Head out back to walk the gardens, sit by the waterfall, nap on the hammock, or take a dip in the heated pool (the pool is shared with 2 other villas). While sitting out back, you can read a book, listen to the birds, watch the abundant butterflies, lizards and dragonflies or play cards/boardgames. If you bring your well behaved pup along, Fido will definitely enjoy the fenced in dog area in the back yard - complete with toys and lots of grass for him to roll around on! While outside, you may detect the faint smell of oranges in the air (we're close to Tropicana)! This end unit has beautiful views of the Manatee River and is situated steps from Mineral Springs Park and the 3 mile long Bradenton Riverwalk. You have quick access to fishing, dining, shopping, beaches, gardens, and historical sites. This tranquil villa decorated in turquoise like the sea is a newly updated one bedroom, one bath retreat with a walk in tiled shower, full kitchen and stocked coffee/tea bar. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room. The front patio has stunning views of the mile wide Manatee River. The back patio has a fabulous garden view complete with a century old Live Oak Tree with babbling waterfall underneath. Head out back to walk the gardens, sit by the waterfall, nap on the hammock, or take a dip in the heated pool (the pool is shared with 2 other villas). While sitting out back, you can read a book, listen to the birds, watch the abundant butterflies, lizards and dragonflies or play cards/boardgames. If you bring your well behaved pup along, Fido will definitely enjoy the fenced in dog area in the back yard - complete with toys and lots of grass for him to roll around on! While outside, you may detect the faint smell of oranges in the air (we're close to Tropicana)!
