This historical 1700’s cabin has been upgraded to fit your needs for an amazing vacation of entertainment and relaxation. Only a 20 min drive from Nashville and just 5 minutes from local shopping and food. Our cabin is the perfect mix of city and country. It is located on a 5 acre shared estate. We encourage our guests to enjoy the creek and pavilion during during their stay. Early morning or evening hours are perfect for listening to the birds sing or watching the deer graze. We have placed a couple of hammocks at the creek for afternoon napping or creek side book reading. There are also some great sitting stones and a couple of benches for your enjoyment as well. The cabin has all your basic needs and is fully stocked with all the linens (towels and bedding) and cooking supplies one could need. Access to the upstairs bedroom and bathroom is via a ladder/style staircase. It’s steep but has handrails for your assistance. On the second floor you have a very large master with en suite bathroom, a stand up shower and closet. Basic shower soaps provided. The bedroom has a small sitting space and has been outfitted with a queen bed. There is ample natural light in the cabin and a cozy back porch. The porch faces a shared quart yard space between this cabin and a small cottage but each guest also has their own yard space. We are also conveniently located near a new park/coffee house “Legacy Park” and just a 5 min drive from interstate access to explore all the local fun. We have included a basket of Nashville site seeing flyers and some games for the evenings. As well as wifi and a “Roku smart tv” for the evenings you rather crash with a movie. 29 minutes from Titan’s Stadium (Nissan Stadium), Top Golf, Bridgestone Arena, Nashville Sounds - First Horizon Park, Geodis Park. Inviting home less than a mile from #DowntownGallatin coffee shops, boutiques, eateries. Set with Mid Century style, the furniture is comfy and cozy — new!! This home has a small footprint and fun feel. It was built in the 50’s, so let’s be honest, it’s NOT a new home and has its quirks that I call character. Coffee Maker + Fiber internet + Alexa + Dog Friendly ($100/dog added to reservation)Original hardwood floors throughout the home with lots of mid century modern touches throughout. This home is near and dear to my heart as my grandmother lived next door for many, many years. We were blessed with the opportunity to own this gem and set forth to provide a space for travelers to visit our lovely hometown — and enjoy our space. Large backyard with massive back deck (lockable for doggos) and 3 concrete parking spaces. We names the house “Soles on Factory” because of the old Genesco shoe factory. It’s said these row homes were built for the employees back then ( my Mema worked there -- her house is next door and available to book for additional guests!) Keep in mind, it’s not a brand new shiny home - it’s been lived in and well taken care of, but has its quirks. The neighborhood is SAFE, my aunt literally lives across the street and a cop next door. Don’t let the lack of maintenance fool you down the road. We’re working really hard to make upgrades for stays (aka paint touch ups, covering old plaster, replacing deck boards, etc.) and are open to your feedback! Just be nice ;) as you’ll be staying in 2018’s Nicest Place in America! Laundry is now located in the Kitchen. We have recently removed our favorite WHITE couch to make the space Dog Friendly with a leather couch that is wipeable. We invite you and your dog fam.We have Fiber internet and are constantly collecting items for the home — furnishing an empty home is wild! So let us know if there’s anything missing we can add. Also note, I’m pretty particular about the house and it’s cleanliness simply because it’s precious to us. If there are any stains when you arrive (let me know) or any stains when you leave, please let it be known that there will be a cleaning charge. We also charge an additional $150 cleaning fee if there are any stains on the linens from nastiness - period. This is not a party pad, so treat it just like you’d treat your grandmothers house. Cause it was mine.As for your dog friends, we want to keep this home in tip top shape for you as our guest! Be mindful that you MUST clean up after your four-legged friends.**Child items - high chair and pack n play may be available if requested prior to your stay. ---Top Attractions in Nashville, TennesseeHere are the top attractions, concert venues, and sports arenas in Nashville along with their approximate distances and travel times from 306 Factory Street in Gallatin:• Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum (32 miles, ~40 minutes)• The Grand Ole Opry (25 miles, ~30 minutes)• Ryman Auditorium (32 miles, ~40 minutes)• The Parthenon (33 miles, ~45 minutes)• Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage (22 miles, ~30 minutes)• Johnny Cash Museum (32 miles, ~40 minutes)• Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park (31 miles, ~40 minutes)• Cheekwood Estate and Gardens (38 miles, ~50 minutes)• Nashville Zoo (38 miles, ~50 minutes)• Belmont Mansion (34 miles, ~45 minutes)• Belle Meade Plantatio^ (38 miles, ~50 minutes)• The Bluebird Cafe (36 miles, ~45 minutes)• Tennessee State Museum (31 miles, ~40 minutes)• Radnor Lake State Park (38 miles, ~50 minutes)• Frist Art Museum (32 miles, ~40 minutes)Additional Concert and Sporting Venues• Bridgestone Arena (Home of the Nashville Predators and concert events) (32 miles, ~40 minutes)• Nissan Stadium (Home of the Tennessee Titans and concert events) (32 miles, ~40 minutes)• Ascend Amphitheater (Outdoor concert venue) (32 miles, ~40 minutes)• First Horizon Park (Home of the Nashville Sounds, Minor League Baseball) (31 miles, ~40 minutes)• Marathon Music Works (Concert and event venue) (31 miles, ~40 minutes)• Exit/In (Historic concert venue) (32 miles, ~40 minutes)• Municipal Auditorium (Concerts and events) (32 miles, ~40 minutes)• The Basement East (Concert venue) (32 miles, ~40 minutes)• TPAC (Tennessee Performing Arts Center) (Theater performances and concerts) (32 miles, ~40 minutes)• City Winery (Concerts, dining, and wine tasting) (32 miles, ~40 minutes)These additional venues are popular spots for experiencing live music and sporting events, providing a comprehensive guide for your guests looking to explore Nashville’s vibrant entertainment scene. Together, both homes can accommodate up to 12 people, providing an excellent solution for family reunions or gatherings of friends.Welcome to Mema’s House, a charming and character-filled home nestled in the heart of Gallatin. This beloved abode, named in honor of my grandmother who cherished it for many years, offers a unique blend of vintage charm and modern comfort. When the chance arose to purchase this home from an old friend, we seized it, ensuring Mema’s legacy continues.Step Inside History and ComfortWhile Mema’s House is indeed an old house, its quirks only add to its charm. You might find doors that fit a bit oddly or lights with a mind of their own, but these are just part of its unique personality. We’ve meticulously updated the interior to provide a delightful stay, featuring freshly painted walls, newer appliances, a resealed bathtub, and a brand-new vanity. All the furniture and linens are new, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience.Bold and Cozy AmbianceThe home’s dramatic color scheme adds flair and personality to each room, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. One of the standout features is the original neon sign in the living space, a historical piece from our local chamber of commerce that proudly displays both “Grit Gallatin” and “Amazing Grace,” encapsulating the spirit of our town. **The exterior is a work in progress, working on decking (paint) as well as landscaping!
