Disgusting room, damaged door, mould in bathroom, a totally disgusting and pathetic hotel. The front desk guy in the morning is rude. He used casual tone while talking to me. Pathetic.

Good emplacement near the station, hotel OK relatively clean. Good point is the free parking. And you can enjoy a good breakfast and great onsen with the hotel just on the other side of the street

Superb location opposite the station, and kind friendly staff. The bathroom was rather dirty, which was really discomforting but overall I am happy with the convenience of the hotel.

Worth the price. The breakfast was also delicious. Parking was free behind the hotel. We would love to comeback again in the future.

The location is very good, just opposite the station, very close. The price is very reasonable during the Golden Week. There are young men and grandfathers at the front desk, and they are very friendly. If you arrive early, you can store your luggage first, and you can also store your luggage when you check out. The interior of the hotel is similar to what other reviews say. It is indeed older, but the facilities are all functioning properly. The bathroom is cleaner than expected. There are rooms facing Beppu Station, and you can see the station platform. There is a women's bath on the 4th floor, which is older. I didn't experience it specifically. It is usually from 7am to 23pm. A water quality certificate is provided, which is OK. In addition to the hotel's own hot spring, there are 2 cooperative hot springs, one is the Ekimae High-end Hot Spring, and the other is the Wave Hotel Mikumahachi-no-yu. The overall experience is not as good as the best, but better than the worst.

The location is impeccable in front of Beppu Station. Life nearby is simple, but it is a bit noisy because it is close to the railway tracks. Being able to go to the nearby Beppu Wave Hotel to soak in the hot springs is a big plus!

This hotel is really old, the local price is 3500 yen per person, our room is Japanese style, except for this feature. The elderly waiter can't communicate well with the language, except that we know to go to the next hotel for breakfast and hot springs, the hot water tap in the room has not been hot for a long time, and there is nothing else in the room except towels and toothpaste.

Go to Umijigoku Hot Spring, Yufuin Kinrin Lake, Oita, Convenient transportation and highly recommended!

The location and the service from the front desk was very good. Perhaps because it's old, the facilities are dilapidated and the water areas are quite dirty. I was hesitant to use the toilet in my room so I held back and went to a nearby convenience store. I was told there was a vending machine on the third floor, but the carbonated drink I bought was warm and even the vending machine seemed dilapidated. Considering the price, it's reasonable, but if asked if I would come again, I would say I would come if I just knew I was there to sleep.

It's a retro-style hotel. I think it's okay if you can sleep for less than 5,000 yen.
