This Hotel is a little dated and needs some refurbishing.. The out-door onsen bath on the balcony is not well kept- with some mold/algae growing on it. There are very few power points in the room and with many gadgets to re- charge, this proves to be a problem

Highly recommend this place. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Entire Hakodate was pleasant. Room was clean and spacious only thing they lack is more sockets :)

I booked a sea view room online. As soon as I entered the room, I was stunned by the beautiful view outside the window. I was instantly shocked by the vastness of the Pacific Ocean. Seabirds kept flying around and chirping from time to time~ The room was equipped with an outdoor hot spring. It was very comfortable to soak in the hot spring and look at the sea outside the window!

The breakfast buffet was very delicious! There was a wide variety of options. The seafood was especially good. The view from the room was also great, so I'd like to come back again.

Facilities: The hotel doesn't feel old. We booked the hotel for the Japanese style, so of course we had to sleep on tatami. The water in the open-air hot spring bath was always flowing. It was a quiet day. However, I didn't know until the year after next that it was a three-day holiday in Japan, so the room rate on weekends was a bit high. Hygiene: OK. Necessary facilities were clean. Environment: Very quiet. Facing the sea. There are hot spring hotels all around. You just have to take a taxi to get around. There is a small park nearby that you can visit. There is also the tropical botanical garden. There is no snow. We came out in five minutes to see the monkeys soaking in the hot spring. It's a pity that the ticket cost 300 yen per ticket. Service: Japanese service, standard. There is a small shop in the hotel. The prices are uniform. I saw someone holding White Lover's ice cream. It closed at 10 o'clock in the evening and didn't eat it. It was a pity. Also, you have to shake out 1/3 of the water in the open-air hot spring bath before soaking and add cold water to it, otherwise it will be too hot. Hahaha. The buffet dinner was added at the last minute. 3300 yen per person for all-you-can-eat snow crab legs. Very cost-effective

The hotel is quite big, the rooms are simple but spacious, the public bath is ordinary, slightly inferior to the open-air bath in the room, the open-air bath is so beautiful, listening to the sound of the waves while taking a bath is very healing. The biggest feature is the crab legs buffet for dinner, but it is a bit dry.

This Japanese-style hotel is located in Hakodate. There is the sea outside the window, where you can watch the sunrise. We stayed on tatami mattresses and the waiter made the bed for us. There were not many people taking a hot spring bath. Breakfast and dinner were also available. Dinner included king crab legs and fresh shrimps. It is close to the Tropical Botanical Garden and a few stops away from Goryokaku Tower. The hotel service is also very good!
