"Checking in We arrived at the resort at around noon and as check in isn’t till 4 we expected our room not to be ready and it wasn’t. We were told that we had been offered an upgrade into a premier room, and we were grateful. We were given our bands (we were all inclusive) and told to relax around the pool get some lunch etc. At around 2:30 I received a phone call from reception to let us know our room was ready. When we arrived at reception to activate our keys we were told we had been upgraded to a suite. We were Shocked, but thanked the staff and expressed our gratitude. We were taken to our room along with our cases in a golf buggy. Room We arrived at our room and we couldn’t believe how big it was. We had a lounge/dining room, which included a full dining table and chairs. A sofa and chair along with a large tv and a sideboard. In the sideboard there was a fridge which was full of drinks chocolates and snack. These are not free and you do have to pay for what you use. The bedroom had a super king bed a large wardrobe with a safe, dressing gowns and slippers. We had 2 side tables and another large tv. The bathroom was very spacious with a tub, overhead shower, vanity unity with sink, toilet and bidet. There was also everything you need from shampoo conditioner, shower gel, body cream and hand wash and these were all Rituals products. We were very happy with the room. Food There is one main restaurant which is for breakfast lunch and dinner, although this was very nice I found the hot food to be lacking for choice. There is an array of salads, cold meats breads and desserts, along with a children’s corner. We always managed to find something to eat, but like I said the hot section wasn’t particularly to our taste. The resort has 3 al la carte restaurants and you get a voucher to eat free in one of them, after that you do get a huge discount and it costs £16.50 for 3 courses. We dined at the Peruvian/japanese fusion restaurant and it was really good. We also dined at the Italian restaurant and this was our favourite. There is a snack bar, and the food was delicious here, you can choose from burgers, salads, tacos and quesadillas. This was great if you didn’t want to dine in the restaurant at lunchtime. There is also an ice cream shop which opens at 3pm till 11pm. This also part of the all inclusive, their gelato was delicious, they also served fresh milkshakes, and slushies. Pools and activities There are 3 main pools on the complex along with a baby pool and a kids kingdom were there is a splash zone and slides. The pools we used were in the main area where there is a bar for all your drinks and crisps and nuts at the bar. There is an abundance of sunbeds and we never struggled to get a bed. Overall this hotel is a very good hotel if you are looking for relaxation. There is nothing around the hotel, and you will need to take a taxi or bus to go to other places. Taxi to Benidorm central is around 17 euros each way and a tax"

"The Location of this Hotel is superb, the room was a little small as only had city view ( no where to dry clothing), very clean areas. The only two issues were the Pool towel man is a jobs worth, he explained that if we are leaving the bed to go to the beach take your towel ( fair enough), but one morning we put our Towels on the bed and went to got o Breakfast ( in the Hotel) to be told move them or i will in 10 mins. REALLY i don't think so when others have reserved beds withs hats, and towels and not come back for at lest Two hours, A LITTLE DOUBLE STANDARD IF YOU ASK ME. Then there is the Jacuzzi, myself and my friend both wore our Bracelets into this ( which we have worn previously into the Pool), and it stripped all metal from this, the Hotel will not take responsibility for this as they are trying to say the same chemical is used in both places, maybe it is but it was a total different strength as our bodies stunk of Chlorine, as it was far too strong. So please be warned DO NOT WEAR ANY JEWELLERY INTO THE POOL OR JACUZZI, or you will be out of pocket 😡😡😡😡 Shout out to Susan who was trying to help with the Situation ( nice Lady)"

"Great stay at Hotel Loa Angeles. Our room was ready for our early arrival. It was a very small room but adequate for our needs with a large shower room and a comfortable bed. Near to the beach and restaurants and bars just steps away. We loved it here and would not hesitate to book again"

"What a great week we had. Julie Luck in bookings was a godsend - I badgered her with questions and requests before we arrived, nothing was too much trouble. She arranged everything I needed directly and her attention to detail and correspondence was superb. She made sure the surprise I wanted for my friend went off perfectly. I had the chance to meet her in person with my friends. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She def goes this extra mile and is a credit to the resort. Thanks Julie!! Hotels location is fab, we could get everywhere really quickly and if we needed any tips we asked Julie (she always made time to help). Hotel is spotlessly clean, rooms great, vibe brilliant and we sang and danced the days and nights away. Yes, it could be a bit noisy but hey you are in the heart of Benidorm in August so what do you expect! Benidorm/La Marina we will be back next summer. Can't fault the customer service, the staff or the location. Fabulous *****"

"Overall, I think you always get what you pay for - I wouldn’t anticipate luxury for a 3 star hotel, but I wouldn’t anticipate somewhere unsightly either, and Lido fell right where it was supposed to. The front exterior wasn’t anything to write home about, but the lobby was clean and modern, and the reception staff were wonderful. I’m terrible with names, but one lady in particular (Rosa, maybe?) was a delight, always saying hello, good morning, and was always on hand to help. She was also fluent in Greek, which was a pleasant surprise for my Greek partner! (I know a lot of people have mentioned the process of reaching the hotel, so I will say - it’s quite an ordeal, but that’s no fault of the hotel itself! If you get a coach transfer, they will drop you off at the Burger King bus stop - our driver gave us instructions, but for my fellow anxious travellers, just head toward the beach and walk along until you reach a steep turn-off to the left, after Hot Spot Lounge Bar - that’s the one you’re looking for! Walk all the way up and around on your right side, past the little shop, past the Hotel Benikaktus and Lido is the blue building.) The room was clean and tidy, and the beds were turned over every day, which was nice. There is also an A/C system, which was a huge bonus, but as it’s all inclusive, there’s nowhere to make tea or coffee, and oddly no bin in the main room for the inevitable snack wrappers. There is a safe, which I didn’t end up using, and also a hairdryer in the bathroom. I will say there wasn’t an abundance of charging points in my room - my partner had one at his side of the bed, and there was a broken one next to the desk, so I ended up unplugging the tv to charge my phone (thankfully my wire was long enough - the tv was quite high up!). In terms of food - the breakfast was the highlight, though I’m biased, as I enjoy a good continental breakfast. There was a selection of cooked breakfast items, that varied depending on the day - bacon, fried egg, boiled egg, sausages, beans, etc. A selection of pastries, mostly croissants and pain au chocolates, and some biscuits. There was also a good amount of fruit, yoghurts, a couple of cereals, some cheeses and sliced meats, and plenty of bread for toasting. You can also access a variety of hot drinks, teas and coffees and hot chocolates, as well as orange juice, apple juice and water. Something to note though is, despite it being all-inclusive, you don’t get drinks with your lunch or dinner - you have to buy them from the small bar. I paid €4.20 for 2 bottles of water, for reference. I only had lunch once, but it was fine - breads, salads, spaghetti and a sauce. Also a few surprises - grilled swordfish, for example - and classic foods like paella. Dinner was also fine - the soup was a highlight for me personally - but fairly basic. You can always access some kind of chip / potato and bread if all else fails, but there were a selection of meats available - chicken, turkey, frie"
