Had my most memorable birthday at one of my most favorite hotels. Felt like the most important person throughout the weekend. Thanks to all the staffs for taking care of us. Especially to Lena and the Chef.
Beijing BoLLy Wood Hotel (Guomao SKP Store)

Guomao Area
Very nice and clean hotel with good location. Very convenient and walking distance to SKP Beijing Mall and many restaurants surrounding the hotel. The front desk helped me free upgrade to a bigger room. Bed is not soft which I like the most. Pillows are comfy too. Will definitely come back to stay again.
Waldorf Astoria Hutong Courtyard

Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area
The location of the hotel is easy to find. Check-in is at the front desk of the Waldorf Hotel. Before check-in, we explained that we needed birthday decorations. The front desk lady and the housekeeper Ella made good arrangements and had a good service attitude. Will had a good service attitude and took us to find the room indoors and helped with luggage and take-out. The bathtub in the room was large and comfortable. I was very satisfied with the breakfast, minibar, toiletries, etc. I will come again next time.

Excellent stay! Hotel and rooms are amazing and in a good location with many restaurants around to choose from. One thing was that there were no USB outlet to charge phones, etc. so important to bring your own adaptor to plug in. Otherwise perfect stay.
Mushenghui Hotel

Fangshan Scenic Area
This hotel is a bit speechless, I can say the tofu slag project! ! ! Newly opened hotel, various facilities problems! Service facilities are barely said to be a bath room! Can't be called a hotel at all, because there is no hotel service! This season the room is too hot to sleep! I called the front desk four times before I changed the room! The bathroom is blocked again! The most funny thing is that the elevator to the fourth floor of the room button is still old and bad... The newly opened hotel, the experience is too bad!
Beijing Marriott Hotel Changping

Changping Town/Shisanling Resort
The hotel is lovely, big and feels luxurious. The room was good, but beds are small. It seems strange that a hotel like this would have double beds. Ideally hotel beds should be King. The pool area was lovely, but the fact that hotel guests have to pay for access to the hot springs is not good. It should be included with all room bookings. Our main negative point about this hotel was the service. It’s was shocking. When ordering a drink and meal in the bar/lounge area, it took over an hour to get anything we ordered and then multiple orders were incorrect. Nobody working there seemed to know what they were doing. Another concern we noted was that when we phoned the reception from our room, there was nobody at reception who could speak English. We made a booking for 4 people, but the room was only set up for two, so when we asked for more towels, pillows and water bottles. They were delivered to our room but just dumped in a pile near the door. This didn’t seem quite right and not what we expected from a hotel of this caliber.
