Romantic Hotels in Beijing

My experience was okay. The epidemic restrictions are what caused a lot of disappointments. The manager was helpful and friendly. He tried his best to keep us comfortable. I found the Thailand style rooms pretty comfortable. However more needs to be done to keep the outside table and chairs clean and tidy. The scenery around is beautiful and tranquil. During the epidemic all food is served on paper and plastic cutlery which did take away from a good eating experience. They have beautiful lounges and seating area’s indoors that are well decorated but we couldn’t sit inside due to the epidemic! So most meals were eaten outdoors in the cold. There are some tourist activities around such as climbing the Great Wall, horse riding and go-carting. However, many of these places are not in full operation right now. Also, there are many restaurants around if you search well. Overall I think the place is good but best to return when there are no covid restrictions!

Inside of the cabin was nice but the view was nothing like the pictures advertised: sure you can see some mountains but mostly other people's platforms and roofs. Bathtub was really nice It was a cute idea to have skylight but the cover was broken and the big sign was blocking the night sky view. Promised two meals but only got one and was told that we were only allowed two vegetables dishes. Food was really salty and room only provided one bottle of drinking water. Loads of stinky bugs out of nowhere, would just pop up on the bed or sitting area. Parking location and luggage transport was intersting. Staff helped with one suitcase and seemed to just forgot about the others in the cart so had to carry on our own. Promised projector was infuriating to use with a PC expecially as we planned something special to put on the projector

The No. 11 courtyard I booked is in the Yaoziyu Castle. The design is very impressive, and each of the three bedrooms has its own characteristics! There is a swing in the courtyard, and there is a very large tea room on the second floor. The kitchen is very large, with a sunken sofa area. I like it very much. There is a castle cafe in the castle, and several courtyards of another homestay. It is very quiet overall. I booked two nights, and upgraded to No. 13 courtyard on the second night. No. 13 courtyard is in another village, with a section of the Great Wall at the door. Xiaoxi's other courtyards are all here. I have lived in No. 3 courtyard before and it is very close. In summary, I prefer No. 11 courtyard. It is comfortable and has a reasonable layout. The three bedrooms are very good. The bathroom is relatively large, the basin countertop is large, and it is very convenient and reasonable to put cosmetics and so on. There is also a place to put clothes when taking a bath. The three bedrooms and the kitchen public area can see every corner of the courtyard at the same time, which makes me feel very safe. Courtyard 13, the sky corridor is the highlight, the photo is very good, but it is not too comfortable to live in. The bedroom bathroom is very small, each one is very small, there is no countertop to put things, no place to put clothes and hooks, which may be related to the wall structure. The only bathroom with a bathtub, the faucet in the bathtub does not discharge water at all, the overall shower water is very small, the wifi is unstable, the brother repaired it twice on the first day of moving in, and it was not connected again when I woke up the next day. In short, in addition to taking good photos, if you want to live comfortably, you still have to go to Courtyard 11. There is also the free upgrade. I hope the boss will communicate well with the staff in the future. He said that he would upgrade us from Courtyard 11 to Courtyard 13 for free, but only let us live in the smallest three rooms in the middle, and said that we needed to live in other rooms and asked us to pay the difference. I was so angry at that time! Those three rooms are all big beds. We have a family with two children, and we can't live there at all. Courtyard 11, at least three bedrooms have two tatami. One big and one small, we chose it because of the tatami, and we lived very well. As a result, we were upgraded to three small bedrooms. Although the boss later explained that he had not communicated well with the staff and agreed to let us stay in the rooms in the courtyard, it was very disappointing. All expectations and good moods were discounted, and there were various problems with the facilities. In short, I recommend Courtyard 11 more. Courtyard 13 really only focuses on the appearance and ignores the comfort of living itself. I highly recommend the 7 o'clock coffee next to Courtyard 13. The boss uncle is really nice, and the big bowl of smoothie is delicious! It's all unexpected gains. All the courtyards of Xiaoxi are very close to 7 o'clock.

I have stayed at Shisanmei many times, and I am still very satisfied with the service and facilities. Hotel location: The center of the scenic area, very close to the Great Wall or the central square. Hotel service: The staff are very enthusiastic. After arriving at the hotel, the fruit plate has been delivered to the room, and a pot of flower tea and three small snacks will be given attentively. It is really comfortable to drink a sip of flower tea while soaking in the hot spring. Room facilities: It has a private hot spring in the courtyard and a steaming room, which is very suitable for couples or a family of three to soak in the hot spring together (the hot spring water is unlimited and the temperature can be adjusted). In fact, you can see the drone show when you are soaking in the private hot spring in the courtyard

A big compliment to this establishment. This whole place makes sense from A to Z. It has to be said that we are both trained hospitality people, with many years of experience in 5 Star properties, so our eyes are often over critical. Here, near to nothing which is missing, which is in wrong places or what we could complain about. The design and the function of the room is near to perfect, very clean, well furnished, all necessities available. It is just a joy to stay in that room, from the bed, daybed, hot water spring bath, really thought of everything. A perfect nest for a romantic stay. As we went in winter as well the room temperature was very agreeable, and there were a second heater, in case it would be too cold. There were some comments that you could walk up to the wall within 20 minutes, we took about the double and were pretty much out of breath, arriving there. But the walk is just wonderful and you have the nature all for yourself, only up the wall we met two other people. This place is highly recommendable. The staff is doing a fantastic job, and the overall quality is well worth the price. Btw the dinner we had was as well delicious.

Great hotel very close to the Great Wall. Nicely decorated spacious rooms with the best you could wish in amenities and view of the Great Wall. Really good restaurant and cafe, including some of the best coffee I have had outside of Beijing (they roast their own coffee). In the summer they have a nice roof top terrace with great views of the Great Wall.

It is best to experience Siddham in summer so that you will not miss the super cool outdoor swimming pool, but the garden design against the backdrop of autumn red leaves 🍂 is really amazing. The century-old trees, green plants, stones and the hotel's architecture are perfectly integrated to exude a unique cultural heritage. There are scenery everywhere. The hotel room has a unique hot spring bar, allowing you to experience outdoor hot springs in the room! The only drawback is that the dinner at Rongfu Chinese Restaurant, which must be booked in advance, is not very satisfactory and needs to be improved. Since the price of the reservation is not low, it is very disappointing that the taste does not meet expectations! However, breakfast ends at 1:30 in the afternoon, which is a good arrangement. Especially the flour for breakfast is very delicious and must not be missed. You must taste it!

The room service is very warm and thoughtful. The welcome fruit and cookies are not only beautiful, but also delicious. The breakfast in the catering department is a set meal, which is divided into Chinese and English. The variety is fixed but the quantity is not. The front desk will ask the guests' choice when checking in, and the breakfast will be arranged according to the guests' requirements for the next day. The bed in the room is very comfortable and I got a good rest. Because the hotel is in the northeast of the water town, it is very quiet and can be reached in three minutes by foot from the mountaintop church. To go to this hotel, you need to transfer once at Sun Moon Island. In fact, the walk is not far, but you need to take a shuttle bus when carrying luggage.

Newly opened this year, the room is well-equipped, clean and tidy. The service staff is very kind, adding WeChat when checking in, and responding at any time if something happens, which is very convenient. The small courtyard is very spacious, the private soup pool is very large, the water is not limited, and the stones in the pool can sit reliably. When we ate, the breakfast was not buffet, it was a large portion for one person. The hotel is located in a creative park, which has a cafe and restaurant, as well as an art gallery and some play facilities. There are small supermarkets and few restaurants outside the park.

I took these photos casually. They are not beautiful, but they are quite real. To be honest, I still thought the room price was a little expensive when I booked the room. But when I checked in, it was totally worth it!!! I will talk about the part that I think is better than my average accommodation experience. You can take the welcome fruit and drinks when you check in (there are a lot of them in the freezer, if you have a big face, you can take more). There is no limit on drinking water. There are 2 1.5L farmers and two 500ml bottles of Evian in the room. I was silly and worried that there would not be enough water for tea, so I brought Sam's Club and took it home. Freshly ground coffee/osmanthus black tea/roselle hawthorn water/carbonated drinks are provided free of charge during the stay. My mother loves roselle water and drank 2-3 cups. Lunch, dinner and afternoon tea need to be paid separately. After looking at the menu today, I chose dinner at 188/person, which is delicious! My mother was so excited that she ran in and out of the house without closing the screen window and a fly came in. The housekeeper came over immediately with a swatter. I stayed in the room for 5 minutes, but the little guy didn't show up. I left a photo and my mom killed it! The next morning, there were a lot of dishes for breakfast, including millet porridge + 2 pickles, blanched vegetables + meat buns + fried dough sticks + eggs + coarse grains. The housekeeper served the dishes over and over again, so many that I couldn't help asking if there were any more dishes? She thought I hadn't eaten enough, but in fact I couldn't eat anymore. When leaving, my mother liked the hotel slippers, so the other party gave her 2 more pairs. My mother also accidentally took away the non-disposable iron spoon. The hotel didn't charge any extra fees. I'm happy to pick you up and I'm comfortable to send you off. I immediately recommended it to my friends around me. I'll definitely try other room types next time I come! It's definitely the best stay experience in 2024.
