The rooms at Citigo Sanlitun Bridge Hotel are not large, but the space is utilized to the fullest, making it quite sufficient for two people. The hotel's location is very convenient, being close to the subway and the Beijing Airport Express line. There is also a Phoenix Mall nearby, which is very convenient. The hotel offers free late-night snacks from 10 to 11 PM, which is great. Toiletries can be obtained from the front desk, but razors are not provided. Overall, the experience was very good, and it offers great value for money. I will definitely come again next time.

The hotel is very artistic, well-equipped and clean. Leah Xu, who checked in at the front desk, was very kind and helped me choose my room. When I checked out, I met the manager Ella Li, who had a very good service attitude and asked about the feeling of staying. The staff here are very friendly, the neighborhood is very convenient close to Metro Line 1.2, the room is also very quiet, beyond expectations, recommended to stay.

Nice hotel.Very attentive staff, as the Chinese phone number did not work, I barely called the transfer and got lost. But the staff searched for me until the last moment, they did not leave me at the airport and took me safely to the hotel and back.A wonderful hearty breakfast. Sweat was given the compliment of an eye mask. The rooms were clean, although there was no bathrobe, but this is uncritical.

Cleanliness was not desirable when compared to hotels in North America. But you will have to adjust your standards when it comes to cleanliness in China. The room itself was fine, but the bathroom was offputting and it made me wonder if they ever deep cleaned the place with professional cleaning supplies. While I had this issue throughout my trip, in retrospect this hotel was probably one of the least comfortable in terms of shower cleanliness; for that I have to give the hotel a 3 in cleanliness. The customer service was good if you could overlook that we had to go down to the front desk twice because of card issues, the first because the card opened another suite’s door when we mistakenly tried the wrong door. The second because our new cards didn’t open our actual door. The location couldn’t be any more convenient. It is only a few stations away after taking the airport express into the city. That is its main redeeming quality if you’re here for a short stay, which is enough to see the main unique sights of Beijing. They also had a robot deliver fruits to us which was an interesting gimmick found here and there in China but sometimes they can be annoyingly in the way of things.

My flight was cancelled and I was forced to stay over in Beijing for the night. Hotel staff went for rhe extra mile and upgraded me to a bigger room and provided me with essential oils when I feedbacked about the adour in my previous room. The room was clean and spacious, facing Jingshan park view, its too bad I couldnt stay longer for the amazing view. The hotel staff was so attentive, very patient and very eager to help, she made me feel like a queen 😁 Spa garden was therapeutic and calming, I wish I could spend more time there. Lounge was a sexy area, I suggest to go at night time. Cocktail there was average. Gym was small, not comprehensive for an active person like me. I tried both their frenchcuisine Rive Gauche and the chinese cuisine Fu Chun ju. Services and staff were impeccable and polite. But if I can only choose one, its the chinese cuisine, their roasted pigeon was AMAZING! I visited Jingshan Park whic only 5 mins aw. 9/10 FOR THIS EXPERIENCE!

GGuest User 2024.05.14
This is a truly fantastic hotel I’d definitely stay in again. It’s just off of Nanluoguxing, a busy tourist street with all kinds of food to try but is incredibly quiet. It’s a great location, within easy walking distance of many attractions in the Hutongs. There’s a metro station close by which is super easy to use with all the signs and announcements repeated in English. However if you get a taxi it might be best to get them to drop you off at the top of Nanluoguxing as getting a taxi into the Hutong isn’t always easy and it’s only 5 minutes from there to the hotel. My favourite thing is a little shaded outside area with some tables. Absolutely beautiful. The staff were friendly and welcoming. No issues communicating with those of them who don’t speak English, as they will whip out a phone and translate anything they need to tell you! They have me some free fruit when I checked in and as the weather heated up they doubled the number of bottles of water they gave me each day which was a lovely touch. It was over 30 degrees when I stayed but the air conditioning works brilliantly. That and an incredible bed made for a very comfortable nights sleep.

We visited Beijing with family of four people. The hotel staffs were very friendly during our visit. They were very accommodating for our requests. Breakfast was delicious and my kids really enjoyed the food especially bread. The location is very convenient and it is surrounded by food, museum, major attractions like Palace Museum and tiananmeng squares are in close proximity. Everything is great except one minor thing, which is the beds are only twin sizes.

MMichael KeithI booked this hotel as part of a late Christmas present for my boyfriend. The building was exceptionally clean and the staff were excellent! If you don’t speak Chinese you might struggle a little; however, the building is well sign posted. Known as the first garden hotel of Beijing, this two storey stalwart building has a garden in the centre, which can be viewed from each room, as does it have an openable door with a small balcony. Because of the location, I expect this is a resort hotel with amenities close by. The room was very well appointed; equally so were the housekeeping staff who kept us in a good supply of Molten Brown and chocolate. Access to the executive meant a plentiful supply of top quality food and free-flowing liquor, which was perfect for the Brit! The swimming pool was magnificent and far beyond my expectations for a small non-chain hotel. I'm not sure who this hotel caters to because its location and homogenous supply of 48 rooms don't offer much flexibility. When we stayed in early January, which is probably the down season, there were only 8 other guests. For most people, this wouldn't be a problem; however, I personally like a bit of noise and atmosphere. That being said, it's not a critique of the hotel. Summary: excellent staff, excellent large room with bathtub and shower, balcony with garden view, executive lounge access with all room purchases, stunning swimming pool, quiet (possibly inconvenient (though you would know this before booking) and serene location.

GGuest UserOur stay at Sansa was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left we were taken care of with a lot of attention to detail. Rooms were spacious and neat, with a lot of daylight ( big windows everywhere). When you open the curtains you can see the green trees through, you’re feeling very close to nature, like the trees are in the room. The room is surrounded one side by a huge terrace giving you all the space again to enjoy the outdoor, drink wine outside or just relax. Our room had a view on the Great Wall and a viewpoint for the sleeping Buddha which was lovely. Amenities were on point and complete, towels and everything were very clean. We had a welcome fruit platter which was nice. We tried the Vietnamese restaurant downstairs, everything was super fresh, the fish was delish! A must try! It was a little cold at night - October temperature start to drop a little, that dish was just perfect feeling homely, warm, comforting & slightly heavenly 😁. Staff is super discreet and very hospitable, very fast to respond our questions and accommodating all the way. The location of the property is close to Beigou village and the Great Wall, you can easily go for a little hike or go for a stroll to the village. There are a few cafe around. Breakfast was very varied offering western & Chinese options, good selection. All in all we are very happy with our stay. Will definitely come back again!

EExpatiRimWe recently stayed at the Crystal Orange Hotel in Beijing, and it was an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the customer service was amazing. When we encountered a minor issue with the tap, they efficiently and promptly changed our room. Plus, the adorable robot delivering our waimai (takeout) to the room was super efficient! The room itself was a haven of comfort. It was super clean and thoughtfully provided with everything we needed, including a steamer for our wrinkled clothes. The only small challenge was the light combinations – turning on the bathroom lights would trigger other lights in the room, making nighttime trips to the toilet a bit tricky without waking up my partner. But aside from that, the room was cosy, sexy, and elegant – the perfect blend. While the location isn’t very convenient for sightseeing, the Crystal Orange is conveniently close to a metro station. So, getting around the city was still manageable. I highly recommend the Crystal Orange to anyone visiting Beijing. Their exceptional service and attention to detail truly made my stay memorable!”

GGuest UserThe hotel staff were amazing! The house keeper working late night on Saturday the 16th of November was way beyond expectation. I asked for her name from the reception staff and was told that her name was Joe (乔). I want to thank her again in here. She helped us so much with the laundry even though it was self-service. She was very helpful and welcoming. Please pass on the commendation to Joe. She even gave us some laundry detergent balls even though we had bought some detergent already! And she even helped with drying even though I wanted to do that by myself since it was self-service and it was not her job, also very late at night as well. The other hotel staff were also very welcoming even though they didn't speak much English. They tried to help with everything using translating websites. The only downside is that the room we got really had bad connections. We cannot use our own internet package due to poor connection and the hotel wi-fi (Chinese's wi-fi) does not work with non-Chinese applications like Line, Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, or whatever other applications tourists tend to use. Nevertheless, we thought of it as a social media detox and the overall experience was worth the money. You get what you pay kinda deal. The location is also amazing. The hotel provides shuttle bus service to Universal Studio Beijing as well.

SSarah LouiseStayed here previously in 2021 and the hotel was immaculate and the service was amazing. This trip I was excited to stay again but I was disappointed with the smell of smoke on our floor and in our room. Following my complaint to reception we were moved to a different floor and our room upgraded. The cleanliness was lacking and the room was a little grubby in places. The food was ok but I feel the attention to detail wasn’t the same as our previous visit. Previously we stayed in December and we were left snacks each day with notes from reception with tips for our stay and we were given a small Xmas gift on departure as a keep sake, it was a nice touch. I don’t feel the hotel price tag matches the experience. Disappointed 😔

AAnonymous UserStayed for 3 nights and chose this hotel for a more relaxed experience as our dates overlapped with the National Holidays. It has a nice and cozy courtyard where you can chill outside (the good weather was a plus!) which includes a mini fish pond, a seat swing. There’s also a cute cat that roams around as well. Building wise - There’s a total of 2 levels of rooms based on what I know. There’s no lift to the 2nd storey so remember to request for rooms on level 1 if you have difficulties accessing. Location - located in an old street of Beijing which is an experience I would say as surrounding are old houses and there are people that live there. As its located in an old street, it may be difficult for cars to drive in. One driver managed to drive in when we arrived but another driver requested us to come out to the main street when we are leaving the hotel. However that wasn’t an issue as its just a 5 min walk out to the main street (Guijie Street). Gui Jie street is a popular food street with many shops and restaurants and mostly opens at night and bustling with people. At one end of the Gui Jie, you will reach a metro station (~10min walk from hotel). Overall, a pleasant location for us. Breakfast - Simple breakfast located at the 2nd level of the building. Includes some simple chinese dishes as well as bread. Not a widespread, but it is sufficient. Room - Room is clean and cozy which includes a tea set for you to make tea and enjoy. The toilet is divided into dry and wet area (basin is located outside in the room). One of the downside personally on the toilet is that the glass is frosted (can see through a quite a bit with light) so it could be a bit uncomfortable depending who you are staying with. Separately since it is separated into wet and dry area, the shower area is quite small with only one hook located at the side and your clothes will get wet if you hang it there. One good thing is their brand for shampoo, soap etc smells really good. Amenities - free washing machine and dryer!! The machines are those small type so remember not to wash everything at one go. Dryer is not that strong so for a small amount of clothes you probably need 1 hour to dry it. You can collect small packets of detergent from the reception. Very good! Overall it is a very pleasant stay and the hotel staff gave us small token when we are leaving. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a different experience from a city-hotel!

GGuest UserI had the absolute pleasure of staying at the M Hotel Meriton in Beijing both at the beginning and end of my 10-day visit to China. The courtyard hotel was incredibly adorable, updated, and well-kept. The interiors of both rooms I stayed in were beautifully appointed and classy, the bathrooms modern and in outstanding working order, and every space -- from the floors to the counter tops to the bathrooms and beddings -- clean and hygienic. I loved that it was a small hotel -- indeed not a monstrously huge highrise--along one of Beijing's historic hutongs. It was quiet at night and my sleep on the comfortable beds with the luxurious sheets was very restful. I was also amazed at the thickness of the bathroom towels, nothing thin or threadbare. I enjoyed my early morning coffee (bought at the Seven/Eleven across the boulevard) in the ground level garden (there were at least three outdoor areas with gorgeous foliage and decor). And the cats! They added so much warmth to my stay, one of them keeping me company when I was in the garden, another perpetually lounging in the lobby. Small restaurants lined the busy street around the corner from the hotel and there were large coffee houses that any western traveler would find familiar. I especially liked Le Maison de Xiong for the friendliness of the staff, ambience, and the delicious passion fruit/green tea drink and scone. The service at the hotel was pretty wonderful, everyone at the desk warm and eager to help. The housekeeping staff was also friendly, and when I had trouble figuring out the washer/dryer, one of the staff did her hardest to get it working properly, which I deeply appreciated. I docked one point from the quality of the service only because it was difficult to communicate because I speak no Mandarin and staff spoke no English so I couldn't make inquiries about places to visit and how to get around the city. It was no one's fault but it would've added a bit more convenience and help for me. I honestly can't say enough good things about the M Hotel Meriton. For me, it was nearly perfect in every way. My thanks to the hotel staff as well as the owner for having created such a perfect and lovely place for my first-time visit to China.

CCAL and GLWe recently had the pleasure of staying at the Conrad Hotel Beijing, and it was an exceptional experience. The breakfast buffet was delightful, and the atmosphere was perfect. What stood out the most was the calm and personalized feel of the breakfast, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The hospitality and service provided by Zoey, the guest manager, were truly incredible. Her attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond made our stay even more special. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch experience in Beijing.

GGerald SimpsonWe (3 people) stayed for one night at the Stone Forest cottage. Getting to the retreat and back to Beijing was easy, we did it all with DIdi. Once at the retreat the shuttle bus to the Great Wall, or to and from the cottage (with luggage) is super easy to arrange with the hotel. From Stone Forest to the Brickyard hotel is a short 5 minute walk and in the centre of the village there is a convenience store, a couple of restaurants, coffee shop and an art gallery. The hotel has a number of facilities and is well maintained and stylishly decorated. There are plenty of Insta spots fo those looking. As for Stone Forest, this is a great little cottage to escape the hustle and bustle of Beijing. It has all the amenities and a nice garden to sit in with a BBQ. Mosquito coils and spray is provided, thankfully during our stay, there were not too many around. Finally, I would like to mention the staff at Brickyard retreat. All were super helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay special. We can definitely recommend a stay and wished we would have booked more nights.
