We stayed in the 1060 courtyard, which didn't offer views of the layered mountains, but there were small apple and plum trees behind the house. It was plum season, and the branches were laden with plump fruit. The guesthouse staff were very warm and welcoming, informing us about a stargazing educational activity that day. They even gave us highland corn and Scutellaria baicalensis tea before we left.
