Guest UserTo experience the authentic courtyard atmosphere, I specifically chose the hotel's Hutong Suite. Outside, Beijing was freezing, but as soon as I entered the room, I was instantly warmed. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and in the evening, they even provided a complimentary wellness tea and special small snacks, which was a very thoughtful touch! In the morning, I also enjoyed the hotel's breakfast in-room dining service, recharging for the day in the ancient-style room. A special shout-out to Chloe and Willow, thank you for your warm and attentive service. I will definitely choose to stay here again next season!

Guest UserThe environment is lovely, tucked away in a small hutong in Beijing. The courtyard is beautiful and perfect for taking photos! The location is also very convenient, close to the subway station. The service was excellent; the housekeeper even helped us with our luggage to the car since we had so much. The room was spacious, and after a long day of walking around Beijing, I could relax with a nice bath in the evening. Super comfortable!

Guest UserThe hotel is in a great location near Wangfujing and the APM Mall, though the metro is a bit of a walk. The room was clean; I had a room with a 'fake window' and sky view, which was acceptable given the room type I booked. Although the staff did not speak English, it wasn't an issue as we used translation apps, and they were very helpful and friendly.

Guest UserHonestly, the hotel's location is superb. It's so convenient to get to all the attractions, which saved us a lot of travel time. The front desk staff were also very helpful; they met all our requests. The cleanliness was good too. The only downside is that the decor is quite basic, but that's understandable. Overall, we had a great three-day, two-night trip. Too bad I forgot to take photos!

Excellent location near Tiananmen, Forbidden City and Wangfujing (all walkable). Subway just 10 mins away on foot, bus stop right outside with the major sight seeing lines. No breakfast provided but there’s enough food places around and an in house cafe.
Room is clean and well sized, good for 2 big luggage open on the floor with space to walk and a large closet. Shampoo/ bath gel, slippers, toothbrushes provided. Shower has good water pressure although curtain is short so water tends to get out of the bath area, nothing a towel can’t solve. Shoutout to the front desk staff (Miss Tian/Liu/Zhang/Li) for their friendliness and helpfulness, esp to Miss Li (night desk) for her quick initiative and service recovery after a miscommunication on room cleaning early in our stay. Love the roof terrace. We were on the first floor and felt that the soundproofing was good.

Came to Beijing with my kids, and a friend recommended this hotel. Its biggest draw is its location within the Tiananmen Square area, making it super convenient for watching the flag-raising ceremony and visiting major attractions. The in-room facilities are indeed a bit old, but that's precisely the nostalgic, retro vibe I was going for – it adds to the whole experience! Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and the service was warm and friendly. If you're not into this kind of vintage style, you might want to reconsider.
