Hotels in Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area, Beijing

Apart from the renovation which we were told beforehand, the room we had was dark (probably because it was a windowless room), humid, aircon wasn’t strong but they provided a fan. Could smell urine even with the toilet seat covered, toilet door was closed, to a point that i was awaken by the foul smell. Had to spray perfume to have it barely covered. Ventilation was super bad. Cons aside, service was good, fridge in room had free drinks. Would recommend to book a window room if you had to even though friend that stayed in the window room said it was bad too. There’s a mall few minutes walk away which was a plus. Good view on the reception floor too.

Great location, near the metro and attractions . Only Chinese breakfast option so fried eggs alone every morning, not great No English speaking staff Room is small but alone was enough as I only slept in, but the walls could be repainted quite dirty Shower over your toilet - as I said it is small

The hairdryer was missing its filter cover, full of dust and lint. I didn't even dare to use it, which is a serious safety concern. The window was very small and faced the street on the ground floor. The curtain couldn't properly block the view; I had to wedge it against a radiator handle. The door lock looked like it had been reinstalled countless times and seemed very flimsy. It's hard to believe this is a hotel that costs over 200 yuan a night, and even more on weekends. At the very least, they should replace or repair the hairdryer. I understand a small room in the city center, but the facilities shouldn't be this old. What if something goes wrong? It would be a huge liability.

While there was an initial misunderstanding due to a hygiene concern which caused distress on our first night stay that I had to escalate the matter through Trip.com, the hotel manager turned the experience around. The night before check-out, we had a genuine and positive conversation at the lobby. She was humble and openly acknowledged her shortcomings and appreciated for helping her learn and grow as a leader. Good to know that a manager willing to take accountability and desire to improve. Every hotel staff we have interacted with are professional and friendly. Aside from the good service recovery, we loved the hotel's convenience: 1. Siji Minfu Peking Roast Duck Restaurant (四季民福) is next to the hotel along with other food options in the same stretch. 2. The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street (shopping and food). 3. The fun robot that delivers food right to our doorstep! The hotel also prepared light snacks for our airport journey. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended!

Don't let the hotel's small facade fool you; once you step inside, it's a completely different world! The room was incredibly cozy, clean, and odor-free. My child needed a nap during their college entrance exams, and the hotel proactively offered a late check-out, which was incredibly thoughtful. Highly recommend!

This hotel's location is excellent, very close to the exam venue, which was incredibly helpful for high school students taking exams. They even gave us a small gift and extended our check-out time. The room was well-equipped, clean, and tidy, and housekeeping was prompt and attentive. The surrounding environment and the view from the window were fantastic, and the soundproofing was good too! The front desk staff and every other staff member we encountered were incredibly polite. The swimming pool, though not large, was very clean, and the gym was well-equipped. Downstairs, there's a dining plaza with a buffet for breakfast and lunch, which was very convenient! Many foreigners stay here, and the staff's overall quality is very high, truly befitting a long-standing five-star hotel. We were very satisfied these past few days! Before leaving, I suddenly noticed the hotel's archway had a wonderful meaning, and I hope my child can succeed in their endeavors, like a fish leaping over the dragon's gate, and achieve great success in their exams.

The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive; check-in was very fast, efficient, and never dragged on. Any requests were met promptly, and they were always gentle and patient, paying great attention to detail. The room itself was spacious and bright with a well-thought-out layout. The natural light and ventilation were excellent, making the stay feel anything but cramped. The cleanliness was truly exceptional; the bedding was clean, fresh, and odorless, and the duvet was soft and comfortable. The floors, tabletops, and even hidden corners were all meticulously cleaned. The bathroom was dry and odor-free, and the wash area was neat and pristine, making for a very reassuring stay. All the in-room facilities were complete and excellent: hot water pressure was strong and temperature stable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the internet speed was fast and reliable, great for streaming or working. The hotel's soundproofing is outstanding; the corridors were quiet, and I heard no noise at all during the night, leading to excellent sleep quality. The overall living atmosphere was comfortable and cozy, and the cleaning staff were diligent and thorough, keeping the public areas spotless as well. The location is also very convenient, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, and easy access to transportation. It's perfect whether you're traveling for leisure or on a short business trip. The value for money is definitely among the best for hotels in its category – I paid an average price but received an exceptional stay. There wasn't a single thing that disappointed me; the service, environment, cleanliness, and facilities were all top-notch. My experience was absolutely perfect. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit and will recommend it to my friends!

Excellent! The front desk staff were all very welcoming, and the hotel was clean. The location is super convenient, just 50 meters from the subway exit. There are also many dining options nearby, including most popular local specialties, and even a Wumei supermarket.

An absolutely top-notch hotel! The rooms are clean, bright, and highly intelligent, featuring a washlet toilet 🚽, which is a big plus, and excellent wet/dry separation. The shower stall is separate, and the bedding is spotless. The service is first-rate, warm, and genuine. There's a huge courtyard and a terrace. The location is super convenient for transportation, and there are plenty of snack shops and restaurants nearby, perfect for both business and leisure.

Love the location and the clean room, the counter staff were wonderful and so helpful and response with speed to our queries ! There were 5 of us so we took 2 rooms. One of the room had an extra bed. The hotel is like less than 5 mins walk to Jinyu Hutong subway and opposite the mega APM mall. The hotel is really quietly tugged away in the centre of Beijing along the busy street. Highly recommended to stay here if you wish to come to Beijing to have a quick visit around the famous locations and don’t wish to take too many cabs. Forbidden City, Tiananmen, Tiantan, WangFu Jing are not far away from hotel. Love this hotel and I will be back again for sure.
