What a wonderful hotel! From the warm welcome and the free upgrade, to the help in booking taxi and get city information, or the extended late check out nicely offered. This hotel is a little gem, perfect for a layover in Beijing. There is a free shuttle service (only 10min away from the airport), a late Chinese snack offered until midnight that replace diner perfectly, and free infusion tea all day. The staff is very friendly and helped me to arrange a taxi back and forth to visit the Great Wall of China, an unforgettable experience! And the unexpected lamas in the back of the hotel is surprising and amusing. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely book it again in my next trip to Beijing.

My child's flight, returning from studying abroad, was scheduled to land at Beijing Capital International Airport in the early hours. To accommodate this, I booked the eLong Ruijun Airport Hotel on Ctrip for the night before. We drove from Tianjin, arriving at the hotel in about 2 hours, and complimentary parking was available. We had dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant on the ground floor, which offered good value for money. We ordered two dishes and two bowls of rice for the two of us, which was plenty, and the food was delicious. Our room on the second floor was clean and tidy. Despite being very close to the airport, with planes taking off and landing almost every two minutes, the noise level was surprisingly acceptable, and flight activity significantly decreased after 10 PM. The next morning, the hotel provided an airport shuttle service. We first took the shuttle bus for about 5 minutes to Terminal 2 (T2). We waited for our child to clear customs, which took about an hour. Afterward, we called the shuttle driver, who picked us up from the drop-off point, and we returned to the hotel. Our child was able to take a refreshing shower, and then we enjoyed the buffet breakfast on the ground floor (our room booking included breakfast). While it wasn't a 5-star spread, it offered incredible value and was very satisfying. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with our stay at this hotel. I would definitely choose this hotel again for similar travel plans. A special shout-out goes to the friendly ladies at the front desk and the shuttle driver! Their service was incredibly thoughtful, enthusiastic, and genuinely sincere. Absolutely deserves a big thumbs up! Thank you so much!

On a layover in Beijing, I chose Cordis Donghai as usual – and this time, it was even more exceptional! Before checking in, I contacted the hotel and mentioned to the front desk that I'd appreciate a late checkout to get some rest. Jessie was incredibly accommodating; she assured me she'd make a note. Upon my arrival, Jessie had already prepared a suite for me and extended my checkout time to 2 PM. She understood that, being tired from my layover, I needed that extra time to rest comfortably. This whole request was handled so smoothly and warmly – I didn't even have to follow up, she simply remembered my needs. I'm already a returning guest, but after experiencing such attentive service from Jessie, there's no doubt I'll be choosing Cordis Donghai again for my next layover!

The location is superb, making it incredibly convenient to get around. Our King room was spacious with a simple yet elegant decor. The bedding was soft and the mattress so comfortable that even I, who often struggle to sleep away from home, slept soundly. The facilities are brand new and modern, featuring a Smart TV, high-speed WiFi, and a well-equipped en-suite bathroom with ample and stable hot water. The service was attentive and thoughtful. Check-in at the front desk was swift, and they even provided helpful information about the surrounding area. The housekeeping staff were meticulous, even going so far as to neatly organize my phone charger. Cleanliness was impeccable throughout: no dust in the room, fresh and odorless bedding, and a sparkling clean bathroom. This hotel offers excellent value for money, making it perfect for both business and leisure travelers. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Beijing. Highly recommended!

The room isn't overly large. Upon entering, the washbasin is on the right, with a separated toilet and shower to the left. The toilet is partially electric, with manual flushing. They thoughtfully provided disinfectant alcohol with instructions, which was a great touch. I chose this hotel to catch an early morning flight. Planes are clearly visible passing by quite frequently, almost directly overhead. However, closing the windows significantly reduces the noise, so if you're not overly sensitive, it shouldn't disturb your sleep. In the evening, they offer two types of congee and some small side dishes, which is a good option if you've missed dinner. Breakfast is a buffet, but it's just average. The young staff at the front desk are enthusiastic and polite. The airport shuttle departs hourly on the hour, and if there are many passengers, the hotel can arrange additional vehicles.

Close the the Beijing International Airport and Exhibition Center which was convenient as my main purpose of visit was China Print expo. Morning free shuttles to the expo and 1 transfer to the airport is also a benefit. The hotel itself is pretty old, lots of stains on the carpet in the room, quite often there is a smoking smell in the room. The receptionists almost don’t speak English which is a challenge for business travelers from Europe. But all in all still it was ok.

It's been ages since I last stayed at a Ramada! I had an early morning flight this time, and conveniently, there's a Ramada right by Capital Airport. It's only 15 minutes from Terminal 3 and offers a complimentary shuttle service, so I didn't hesitate to book it. On check-in day, Alice Fan at the front desk was incredibly helpful! She upgraded my room to a much larger one and even gave me a high-floor room as I'd requested – truly excellent! Right opposite the hotel, there's a plaza with plenty of food options. I even took a ride-hailing car to the city center for Peking duck, and it only cost me around 49-55 RMB. Be warned though, central Beijing traffic is insane! I once spent 10 minutes at a single red light, and that wasn't even rush hour. All in all, my experience at Ramada was fantastic!

The room was very spacious, clean, and tidy. Although we were traveling with kids and couldn't get a king-sized bed, the bedding was extremely comfortable. We were able to push the beds together, so we didn't have to worry about the children rolling off. The evening porridge service was excellent; it perfectly solved our baby's hunger before bedtime – they gobbled down two bowls! The TV supported screen mirroring, the internet connection was stable, and having a washing machine and dryer available meant we could wash all our holiday clothes, saving us a lot of hassle once we got home. The front desk offered an airport drop-off service, and it only took 15 minutes to reach the airport, which meant we didn't have to wake up extra early to catch our flight. This made it perfect for families traveling with young children.

I had business in Shunyi the following day and chose the Crowne Plaza. This location seems to primarily cater to airline crews or business travelers in the area. As soon as I entered the room, I was hit by a strange odor. After a quick check, I discovered the sheets and duvet smelled quite musty. I'm not sure if it was damp linen storage or something else. The showerhead was faulty – I couldn't even get water to flow properly – and the drain was completely blocked. It was incredibly frustrating and a clear sign of poor maintenance. Overall, the room's facilities felt very dated. Breakfast was pretty standard; while there was a decent variety, nothing was particularly impressive. By around 8:30 AM, they had already stopped replenishing dishes, and even by 9 AM, I didn't see any of the remaining food items in the buffet area being replaced. The pool and gym are located on the third floor of Building 2. It wasn't crowded, and the water quality was acceptable, though a bit chilly. I'd definitely recommend bringing your own towel, as the ones provided weren't great.

Stayed at the Hilton near Beijing Capital Airport and it was an excellent choice for convenience and comfort. The location is perfect for an overnight stay or an early flight, with quick shuttle access to the terminals. The rooms are spacious, modern, and very clean, with comfortable beds and all the amenities you’d expect from Hilton. The staff were professional and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of fresh options, and the dining facilities were top-notch. It’s quiet despite being so close to the airport, making it easy to rest. Highly recommended for travelers looking for quality and efficiency before or after a flight.
