Shangri-La is a trusted, well-established brand. This isn't my first time staying at a Shangri-La Hotel; in fact, I've lost count of how many times I've stayed here. I'm consistently very satisfied with both the ambiance and the service. Both check-in and check-out processes are always quick and smooth. The staff are proactive in offering assistance when they see guests with large luggage. The bedding is comfortable, and free parking is a great convenience.

Breakfast is good. You have different restaurants and bars in the hotel and also small shopping mall.nearby is metro station National Library. Direct connection to beijing west railway station. Short walk to Zoo. Business tower with tennis area. Service for get a taxi is made by staff if needed. Next mainta in nance of rooms will come.

The tea lounge on the first floor is spacious and comfortable, providing a convenient space for relaxation or small gatherings. April Attentive Service Details: The front desk staff are warm and efficient, the concierge team proactively assists with luggage, and the lobby staff greet guests politely when they meet—all reflecting professional dedication. A special thanks to Manager April, whose butler-style service during the stay was meticulous and caring, significantly enhancing the overall experience. In summary, both the hardware facilities and service quality are commendable, making this a very pleasant stay.

The hotel is in a great location, right outside the subway station. It's convenient to go anywhere. Opposite is the National Library and Zizhuyuan Park. The hotel is well maintained, and the toilet is smart. The room has a warm color. I finally arrived early, and the room I booked was not available. I was upgraded for free.

The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. It's a 5-minute walk to the National Library, Zizhuyuan Park, and the subway station. There are many good restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. The facilities are also newer than the nearby Xiyuan Hotel and New Century Nikko Hotel. Highly recommended.

Best location for tourist attractions, you only need to take a few metro stops to reach major sights. Do not buy the buffet breakfast because the quality of the food is below 5 star hotel. Front desk receptionist very nice but they are not able to assist in attractions directions. Recommend

Are the positive reviews for this hotel genuine? Beyond its good location, there's absolutely nothing else commendable. 1. The sound insulation is truly poor. You can hear conversations in the corridor and doors opening next door, plus there's a karaoke venue on the second floor. That's why two pairs of earplugs are provided in the room – a clear admission of the noise problem, suggesting you should wear them to sleep if it gets too loud. 2. The 'Premium Suite' and the 'Deluxe Room with two 1.2m beds' are both 24 square meters. The only difference is that the suite has one 1.2m bed and one 1.5m bed, yet it costs nearly 400 RMB more. It offers virtually no suite value, and I couldn't see what justified the 'suite' designation. When I first entered, I even thought the front desk had assigned me the wrong room. Furthermore, all rooms have corridor-facing windows, which open up to a direct view of a wall. Breakfast is also not included. 3. Features like the 'fresh air system', 'screen mirroring', and 'Xiaodu' (smart assistant) are essentially useless add-ons, merely catchy names. They offer little practical value. Overall, the value for money is poor. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone traveling for leisure.

The hotel is in a good location, with convenient transportation and restaurants nearby. The room facilities basically meet the needs. The room I booked is called a courtyard room, which is actually a row of bungalows in the parking lot behind the main building of the hotel. After booking it, I was quite worried about this kind of bungalow after reading the reviews, but after living there, I felt it was okay. Except that the lighting in the room was a little worse, other aspects were good. It felt that the ventilation and quietness were even better than those in the building. In addition, the service attitude of the hotel staff was very good. The doorman and any staff in the courtyard were very enthusiastic and actively provided help.

We received a complimentary upgrade to a business room, and the service was excellent. Our room included a mini-fridge and two complimentary yogurts delivered daily. The location is incredibly convenient – the hotel is right outside the subway station exit! The breakfast buffet was very extensive, and the food was delicious. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

When booking a room, I compared several rooms of different prices. I booked a Premium Twin Room for 644, and the Special Twin Room was 586 on the same day. When I checked in, I saw that the price of the Premium Twin Room was 618. This was not the funniest thing. The funniest thing was that the front desk gave me a Special Twin Room. I raised an objection to Ctrip and took a screenshot of the room type online when booking and took a photo of the actual room I stayed in. The layout and color matching of the two were obviously different. Ctrip contacted me very quickly, and then contacted the hotel. But the hotel insisted that it was a Premium Twin Room for me, haha. I also said that I was going to stay longer at the front desk. As soon as I walked into the room, the front desk called to ask me why I hadn't placed an order yet. This ”spirit” might be better if it was used to solve the problem. Of course, the hotel is still relatively good in terms of geographical location, convenient travel, and hygiene. I hope to do a good job in detail management in the future.
