Hotels in Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen, Beijing

The environment is great, and there are quite a few foreign guests staying here. The room is very clean and the bed is super comfortable. The staff are very attentive. The only downside is that it gets a bit noisy downstairs at night. Highly recommended, I'll definitely stay here again next time.

How should I put it? The value for money is really low. I originally booked a Deluxe Queen Room for 1000 yuan, but it was incredibly small. It only had a 1.5-meter bed, and the space was so cramped I doubt I could even fully open my luggage. I ended up paying extra to upgrade to a King Room with a 1.8-meter bed. Regardless, the space remained very tight. The hotel's service itself was excellent. The lobby attendant, Xiao Deng, was very enthusiastic and helped me with my luggage, which was particularly heavy. I was initially drawn to the hotel because of the travel photography and free Hanfu try-on experience. However, once I got there, I found out they only had a few Hanfu outfits, which guests had to share. The travel photography service wasn't great either; the photos turned out very mediocre. I can only say that this MANXIN hotel, in general, is significantly overpriced. Giving a good review out of habit.

Facilities: The room facilities were pretty good. The only downside was that to get to the elevator from our floor, you still had to go up a flight of stairs, meaning we had to carry our luggage ourselves. This is very inconvenient for travelers who usually have large suitcases. Cleanliness: It wasn't very clean; there was a lot of dust. Environment: It was good, with excellent soundproofing, so it was quiet. Service: I've stayed at a few hotels in Beijing, and the service here was honestly hard to describe—it was quite indifferent.

The location was great, but our room had no direct light from sun, and no windows opening on outside at all, with an A/C that was not working at all. The room was hot and not air moving, a terrible feeling. On top of that, the room was located just below the roof top that was undergoing construction work, which means lot of noise from early morning. The room is very old, walls are stained, clearly not looking like the booking site pictures. The hotel needs a big refresh. Right now the entire exterior is under construction, I hope you plan to do the rooms soon. Overall, not acceptable not to be informed that there is big construction work done at the moment, and having a room with no external ventilation and AC working should not even be commercialized. A rip off for the price paid.

This is my second trip to Beijing this year, and I chose to stay at the Livefor hotel in Chongwenmen again with my son. I guess that makes me a repeat customer, right? 😁 Overall, I'm quite satisfied. The location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Chongwenmen subway station, making getting around incredibly easy. There are malls right downstairs and across the street, so with a child, I don't have to venture far. Cleanliness is my top priority when choosing a hotel, which is why I've picked Livefor twice. Next up is the bedding, especially the pillows – they're just the right firmness, ensuring a really comfortable sleep. The soundproofing is also good; once the window is closed, you can't hear any outside noise, and it's very quiet at night. My son loved the mini-fridge in the room; he bought some drinks and cheese, and he really enjoyed that. The service was also excellent and thoughtful. Check-in was quick, the staff were friendly and gentle, and they were always ready to help with any issues. All in all, the transportation, accommodation, and dining experiences were all great, offering good value for money. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit to Beijing.

Thanks for the complimentary room upgrade! The hotel overall was pretty good, clean and tidy. Its biggest advantage is its location right on Qianmen Street, making it super convenient to explore. One small suggestion: upgrading the brand of bottled water in the rooms could really enhance the guest experience.

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. We took a room perfect for only sleeping as we were in the hotel room only for the night. It is well located, near the temple of heaven and not far from the forbidden city and the other places to visit. We had no windows which wasn't bothersome for 4 nights. The staff is very kind. I recommend the hotel if you want to visit beijing!

Our stay in the duplex room was a fantastic surprise! The two-story layout felt incredibly spacious, with high ceilings that made it feel open and airy, not at all cramped. The downstairs living area was perfect for relaxing or entertaining, while the upstairs bedroom provided a quiet retreat. It's ideal for families or friends traveling together. The entire room features smart controls, and the bathroom has a convenient wet/dry separation with high-quality toiletries. The hotel is right next to the Temple of Heaven, within walking distance, and there are plenty of dining and transportation options nearby. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, including a great selection of authentic Beijing snacks. The front desk staff were attentive and thorough. The decor is elegant and stylish, offering a peaceful escape despite being in a bustling area. The space utilization is excellent, and it offers outstanding value for money. For anyone visiting Beijing, I highly recommend booking the duplex room!

Truly the best hotel stay in China ever. Convenient and quiet (and lively at a suitable amount) kinda stay. Craft beer Bar is right below the hotel, gotten a nightcap almost daily since it was so convenient. Location is just solid, central to almost all tourist sites also felt like we had private and safe pick up point! Oh robot was a good perk too (since I loved getting morning food deliveries). Staff were attentive and just nice in general. No bad juju in the rooms too. I will stay here again!

Excellent location . Close to everything. Easy access from train station but there is a stretch in the subway with no escalator. We were upgraded to a huge room with long bath. Although close to the busy street it's quiet at night. Hotel ties up with some restaurants to offer discount for guests. DD drop off opposite hotel. Don't miss the pretty park with a cafe opposite hotel. Overall good value.
