Hotels in Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen, Beijing

Overall, we loved our stay at this hotel and would definitely come again if back in Beijing! 1. Location is great and just short walking distance from the subway but we ended up just Didi-Ing everywhere cause due to the prime location, it’s so affordable no matter which direction we need to go. Nearby also many malls, food, shopping etc within walking distance. 2. After reading reviews, most were good and the only issue we saw ppl unhappy about is saying that the room is too hot during winter (as no aircon but heater instead). We realise that ppl are talking about the no window rooms. As such, we made it a point to book our twin room with windows. Best decision! Window was handy during half of our stay. But unfortunately we happen to come when there’s some big government meeting in the area, so the windows were closed with a screw for security reasons for the other half. Nonetheless, the concierge service was excellent and we had no problem getting a fan upon request. They provided a tower fan for us and it was more than sufficient to ventilate the room while having heater on cause of the cold weather. 3. Shoutout to the helpful and friendly staff! Even though the hotel seemed small considering it’s by a big brand, but the service was really up to standard! Special mention to Baozi who’s station at the first floor concierge who helped to answer all the touristy questions we have during our stay. And even go the extra mile to help us look for the answer on his personal device when he’s not sure. 4. Nice point to have hot porridge available at night between 6pm to 12am for folks who weren’t satisfied with dinner and need a simple supper. Just some simple condiments to go along but something hot at night sometimes is all you need. They also have a couple of fruits and drinks available all day. Not super impressive stuff but just quite thoughtful. 5. The only thing to point out is that as mentioned - the hotel is quite small, so no swimming pool, but they do have laundry and gym at the basement which we didn’t use. But love the smart system they have set up. Which you can use voice activation to control in the room, requesting for certain items also is easy process using the tablet. And when you order food delivery, they use the robot to bring it up to your room which is fast and efficient. Also, they provide bottled water daily but also have a machine you can refill from on the first floor if you need more. 6. Lastly, almost forgot to say about the room - it’s nice and spacious! So really go for the room with window as I think it’s bigger. 2 of us with large 28 inch luggage and have space to walk around even after both luggage is open big big at the sides. Bed is nice and comfy and the bigger type. Toilet also is spacious, shower area separated by glass door. Ample dry area to change after come out of shower. Amenities (shampoo, conditioner and body wash) are also good quality, feels nice and I didn’t need to take out my own to use. We also had a free minibar with our booking, simple with just 4 can drinks and couple packet of biscuits but was a pretty good touch. No issues with the daily housekeeping!

The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the metro, making it easy to explore the heart of Beijing. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with directions and recommendations. My room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and modern amenities. I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet, which offered a mix of local and international dishes.

Great service and excellent location. They even give dumplings at night and water to go and even sweets for the journey! They even give free laundry services!

Glad to stay in this hotel.. all the staff helpfull and comunicated.. the location very good.. Ci Qi Kou metro station exit A only 2minutes walking.. the room typical new and clean.. enjoy to stay here

Overall, it was great experience staying in this hotel apart from a sudden bang and loud slamming door in the middle of the night. Great location and staff are helpful. If you're fluent in mandarin, be ready with your translator apps. Cozy and I love the tatami room.

This is a hotel mainly catering to local tourists, but I had no problem communicating with staff using a translator app. The location is great, literally a minute from Exit G of Qianmen metro station and 5 mins from Qianmen St with many restaurants. It’s also just a few minutes walk south of Tiananmen Sq. It’s a great base if you’re looking to sightsee as many things are walkable or close by via Metro. The housekeeping could be a bit better but it was overall good value for money.

Great hotel, highly recommended! It was clean, modern, and neat. Breakfast delicious, and they provide free teabreak and supper. All staff were super friendly and helpful, she helped us to make online reservations for the famous peking chamber restaurant and provide free laundry service. Besides, they even provide two-way shuttle service to the nearest train station, from 8am to 12noon and 2pm to 6pm.

My flight was cancelled and I was forced to stay over in Beijing for the night. Hotel staff went for rhe extra mile and upgraded me to a bigger room and provided me with essential oils when I feedbacked about the adour in my previous room. The room was clean and spacious, facing Jingshan park view, its too bad I couldnt stay longer for the amazing view. The hotel staff was so attentive, very patient and very eager to help, she made me feel like a queen 😁 Spa garden was therapeutic and calming, I wish I could spend more time there. Lounge was a sexy area, I suggest to go at night time. Cocktail there was average. Gym was small, not comprehensive for an active person like me. I tried both their frenchcuisine Rive Gauche and the chinese cuisine Fu Chun ju. Services and staff were impeccable and polite. But if I can only choose one, its the chinese cuisine, their roasted pigeon was AMAZING! I visited Jingshan Park whic only 5 mins aw. 9/10 FOR THIS EXPERIENCE!

It was a beautiful experience😍😍😍😍 Staff is very friendly and cooperative. rooms are very cosy and clean😍😍😍 they offer ice cream, pop corns, coffee. I stayed here for one night and u would love to stay here in future 😍 my train was late so they just gave me relaxation for two hours more 😍😍😍 I really enjoyed my stay here 😍 I am going with a lot of sweet memories 😍 Location is very good. Supermarket, subway and Beijing South railway station is very near. Breakfast was also very yummy 😍 Reception staff a beautiful lady and a middle aged man... very friendly. Highly recommended

Capital One hotel is a five star hotel with all the amenities you might want or need. The location is within walking distance to Tianamen and The forbidden City.  Chongwenmen subway station is less than 500 meters. The staff was super helpful Note: 我的中文不好😂）。 Already looking forward to another trip.
