Hotels in Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen, Beijing

This hotel is right by Qianmen Street, close to Dashilar, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. It's also very close to Tiananmen Square, perfect for catching the flag-raising ceremony, and visiting attractions like the National Museum and Forbidden City. Both Zhushikou and Qianmen subway stations are nearby. The room and bed were spacious and comfortable, and the service was excellent. In the evenings, there were even activities like rubbings and calligraphy in the basement. Overall, a very satisfying experience.

Good little hotel. Allthough. There is no convenience stores around. Closet one is around 800m+ away. So if needing food or drinks, it's a mission. especially with the family. Overall, it was a good little place to crash for a few days..

The quadrangle courtyard is very unique, and the hotel's location is excellent, right on Qianmen Dashilar Pedestrian Street, with plenty of food options within walking distance. The only downsides are the air conditioning, which is too loud at night and makes it difficult to sleep, and the fact that the toilet and shower aren't separated. Other than that, the service was great. I especially want to mention the complimentary travel photography service. They offer Chinese traditional outfits, and you get five photos taken within the hotel. The photographer was very professional and great at guiding poses, resulting in fantastic pictures! 👍

I stayed at this Holiday Inn Express over a decade ago, so this business trip was a bit of a return to familiar grounds. Compared to back then, the hotel's software and hardware have both been completely upgraded. When stacked against domestic business hotels of similar price points, Holiday Inn Express significantly outshines them in terms of room size, furniture, public areas, and breakfast offerings. Plus, this hotel is conveniently located in the city center (Qianmen, Tianqiao), making it super easy to get around and visit all the major attractions. The Temple of Agriculture (Ancient Architecture Museum of China) and Tianqiao Museum are also within walking distance and well worth a visit.

This hotel boasts an excellent location in Dongcheng, close to the city moat. The breakfast is convenient and tasty! Most importantly, it's very close to Tiananmen Square, which is great for sightseeing!!! The service is fantastic 😎, and there's a lucky tree that's lush and green, which adds to the nice atmosphere. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Beijing ^-^

UrCove by HYATT Beijing Forbidden City offered a very comfortable and refined winter stay. The location is outstanding, just steps from the Forbidden City and key attractions. The room was spotless, stylish, and warm, with a beautiful city view that felt especially cozy in winter. Service was professional and attentive, and the hotel’s amenities and common areas were well maintained with a calm, modern atmosphere. An excellent choice for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and understated luxury in central Beijing.

Whenever I'm in Beijing, I usually book at Communal. The location is excellent, and getting around by subway is super convenient. They even upgraded my room to a suite with a living room, fully equipped with everything I needed. The humidifier and air purifier were a really thoughtful touch. The soft drinks in the mini-bar were complimentary too. No need to worry about dry skin either, as they provide a large bottle of body lotion. The gym is on the 16th floor; you can get a good half-hour strength workout in. The hotel breakfast is also great. Although the space isn't huge, it's very refined. This time, I discovered the cold chicken breast salad was really delicious. I hope the quality remains consistent. I'll definitely return if I have the chance.

The hotel is located at the southern end of Qianmen Pedestrian Street. As soon as you step out, you're on the bustling street with all the popular eateries you could wish for. It's incredibly convenient for exploring Dashilar, the Arrow Tower, and Tiananmen Square. You can even walk to the flag-raising ceremony in the morning! With subway stations at both the north and south ends of the pedestrian street, transportation is a breeze. The rooms themselves are great – new, clean, and well-equipped.

We stayed 5 nights then move to Gubei n back to this same hotel for last 2 nights in Beijing b4 back to home country. Our big luggages were put in the room under their care and the friendly staff managed to get us the same room at our preference! Hotel provided laundry with dryer which is super useful since we travel light. The staff actually help us to shift from washer to dryer during midnight without any extra charge! The mineral water was also provided unlimited. Overall we are very happy with the cleanliness, superb prime location, accommodating staff and excellent facilities. The only thing to comment is probably no hair conditioner was provided but that’s very small matter compare to overall. Ibis Tiananmen with still be my first choice if I ever travel to Beijing again. Thanks for the warm hospitality!

Best best best. I love this hotel!! For these reasons : 1. I was given early check in. I arrived in the hotel at 10AM. They allow me to check in early. So nice of them. 2. There is a washing machine in the room. And you hang them to dry in the room (the machine is washing only, it didn't completely dry). 3. Location. It's in a quiet neighborhood. Just 10 mins walk to the nearest subway. When I come back to Beijing, I'll use this hotel again.
