Beijing Chaoyang District Hotels

This is one of the more nicely appointed hotels I’ve seen at this price point and the attempts by management to bling up the decor doesn’t feel tacky. The toilet is auto flush via sensors, so don’t be surprised to find no flush handle. There was plenty of space for one person in this room, with its loft concept. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast buffet in the morning was solid, even though it was largely repetitive. The only thing I can knock it for is the lack of safe in the room, my complementary breakfast I made at booking wasn’t reflected on their end, and the fact it’s in the middle of a residential neighbourhood, so a distance away from the main tourist areas. However, I wanted a hotel in between Capital Airport and the tourist areas, so I was satisfied.

I had a very satisfying stay! The hotel's location is convenient, the overall environment is cozy and comfortable, and the cleanliness is top-notch. The room had great natural light and ventilation. The staff were friendly and attentive, responding promptly to any requests. The facilities were complete and easy to use, making for a worry-free and pleasant stay. I truly recommend it to everyone!

The hygiene was acceptable, and the location is incredibly convenient. The only downside was that the elevator was a bit hard to find! It's right in Sanlitun, directly across from the South and North districts, and surrounded by bars. Everything is very close and easily accessible.

The environment is great, and the location is good too. The facilities are quite new, and most importantly, there's a supermarket downstairs which is really convenient for shopping. It's also close to the subway station, making it very accessible overall.

Traveling with friends and our kids, we were lucky to have great weather in Beijing. Since we were out late, the hotel thoughtfully contacted us beforehand to confirm and hold our room. Check-in was incredibly smooth and quick when we arrived in the evening. I've always been a fan of Huazhu Group hotels, and this one certainly didn't disappoint. The subway station is right next door, making getting around super easy. The room was very clean with no strange odors! All the staff were polite and friendly. Plus, the hotel restaurant and laundry room are conveniently located on the same floor as the rooms!

Everything was great from the first second! The staff is polite and friendly: we had a lot of questions and they helped us all the time, what is really good for foreigners. The room was not so big, but it's nice: clean bright, comfortable and really calm. So, if you have some problems with sleeping, don't worry: you will sleep like a baby. By the way: the hotel has a good location, which is important if you don't have enough time (one day or some hours). So, if you are looking a good place to stay, you have found it. I think we'll come back here next time

Review We arrived at the hotel around dinner time and had only a few minutes to prepare before attending an event. Unfortunately, our first impression of the room on Level 8 was disappointing. The room had a strong musty smell and did not feel as clean as we expected. My daughter and I opened the windows, turned on the air purifier, and cleaned the surfaces ourselves with disinfectant spray, but the smell remained. The bathroom drain also had an unpleasant odour. We briefly raised our concerns with the concierge, who explained that the hotel was fully booked. After returning later that evening, the musty smell and overall feeling of the room had not improved, and we were prepared to move to another hotel. Thankfully, the concierge then offered us a higher-level room and an upgrade, which we appreciated given the late hour. The upgraded room was spacious and had great potential, but unfortunately it also required significant cleaning before we felt comfortable staying. At around 10pm, I spent time cleaning surfaces with disinfectant and hydrogen peroxide so we could settle in for the night. The bathroom door also appeared to have water damage and was quite worn. Despite these issues, we did appreciate the hotel’s fantastic location, and some members of staff were genuinely welcoming and helpful. We are grateful that we were able to stay for three nights and appreciate the efforts made by the team to assist us. A few areas that I hope the hotel considers improving: * Updating and maintaining the rooms, including addressing musty smells, worn bathrooms, and the spa/pool areas. * Providing a room service menu in the room, as guests may need this when they are too tired to go out or access dining options. * Reviewing the gym policy for families. My daughter was disappointed to be restricted from using the gym area as a junior athlete - and the shared public lessons created an uncomfortable experience when she was simply trying to participate appropriately. Consider communicating to hotel guests blocks of time they are using the pool for lessons. This hotel has an incredible location and a lot of potential. With investment into room maintenance, cleanliness standards, and a more family-friendly approach, it could become a truly exceptional place to stay. We sincerely hope these improvements are considered because we would be happy to return in the future if these areas were addressed.

This trip to Beijing was exceptionally pleasant. The lobby offers complimentary cold drinks, coffee, and tea bags. The room was clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding, plus free snacks. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The staff were warm and attentive, greeting me enthusiastically whenever we met. Overall, the value for money is outstanding, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again for future trips. I'm very satisfied with this stay and highly recommend it! 👍👍👍

After meeting friends in Sanlitun, I decided to stay at the Qiuguo Hotel for another day of exploring. The room was incredibly clean, not a speck of dust or a single hair could be found, which made for a very comfortable stay. The security was also excellent; you needed your room card to go up and down, and if you didn't have it, you had to verify at the front desk before they'd let you through, which made me feel very safe. The front desk staff were helpful and resolved issues diligently. The hotel is located right inside the Institute of Electro-Mechanical Engineering, very close to the subway, making it convenient to get anywhere. The robot delivery service bringing food right to your door is fantastic – no need to go down and pick it up!

Five-star review! I stayed at the Sofitel Beijing Central for four consecutive days, and my overall experience was extremely satisfying. The location is excellent, close to Jianguomen subway station, making it very convenient to get to Wangfujing, Tiananmen Square, and the National Museum. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, so I rested very well. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and their service was prompt and responsive; communication was smooth whenever I had a request. The hotel environment is quiet and elegant, and the facilities are well-maintained. Traveling with children, staying here made getting around and sightseeing worry-free and convenient. It's a great choice for exploring urban Beijing, especially since the young lady at the Chance hotel front desk upgraded our room for free and gave us a breakfast voucher for one adult and two children for one day, considering our late arrival. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Beijing – it truly exceeded my expectations!
