Hotel near Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area,Beijing

The hotel's location is right in the city center, very close to Metro Lines 3 and 7, making it incredibly convenient to get to all the main attractions. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and recommended local specialty snacks and supermarkets nearby. There were free cold drinks in the lobby, and room service was prompt and thorough. Before check-in, customer service even asked for our arrival time and turned on the air conditioning in the room in advance – so many thoughtful details! It was a very satisfying stay, definitely full marks!

Apart from the renovation which we were told beforehand, the room we had was dark (probably because it was a windowless room), humid, aircon wasn’t strong but they provided a fan. Could smell urine even with the toilet seat covered, toilet door was closed, to a point that i was awaken by the foul smell. Had to spray perfume to have it barely covered. Ventilation was super bad. Cons aside, service was good, fridge in room had free drinks. Would recommend to book a window room if you had to even though friend that stayed in the window room said it was bad too. There’s a mall few minutes walk away which was a plus. Good view on the reception floor too.

Good hotel in excellent location! Provided clean towels and water everyday without asking which was perfect. Only issue we had was that the bed was very hard and not the most comfy! And the shower filled up if in there for over 10 mins. Other than that good hotel and would recommend! Good base for exploring Beijing

The breakfast place downstairs, Xiao Feizai, is absolutely delicious 😋. So, staying at this hotel makes dining, entertainment, and getting around incredibly convenient. It's also super easy to get to the airport; if you don't have much luggage, it's just a 15-minute walk to Dongzhimen transportation hub to catch the airport subway. It's also very convenient for business trips and meeting clients.

For my trip to Beijing, I specifically chose Beiping Courtyard and stayed in a tatami room. The overall experience exceeded my expectations and was incredibly heartwarming. The courtyard is tucked away in a hutong, offering a quiet escape from the bustling city, exuding the charm of old Beijing. I was lucky to visit in May when the roses were in bloom, which really enhanced the atmosphere. The room was clean and cozy, and the tatami provided a relaxing and comfortable stay. The facilities were complete, and the attention to detail was impressive. The staff were all very friendly and easygoing, providing thoughtful yet unobtrusive service, making me feel as comfortable as if I were staying at a friend's house. The food at the hotel was authentic and delicious, made with quality ingredients. The overall slow pace was very therapeutic, and I had a wonderfully comfortable stay. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Beijing!

I stayed at a Siheyuan (courtyard house) near Qianmen with my child and father, and it truly felt like quintessential Beijing! First off, the location is incredibly convenient. It's nestled in a hutong on Qianmen East Street, offering a quiet escape amidst the bustling city. A short walk around the corner takes you to Qianmen Pedestrian Street, and Dashilar is easily reachable on foot. Taking a taxi to Tiananmen or the Forbidden City costs just the minimum fare, which is a huge relief when traveling with elderly parents and children – no hassle at all. Secondly, the courtyard itself is absolutely charming. Stepping through the gate, you're greeted by a classic Old Beijing Siheyuan, with its grey bricks, dark tiles, and covered walkways, all centered around a large tree. In the morning, with the sun streaming into the courtyard, enjoying a bowl of congee feels incredibly leisurely. The room, though not large, is exquisitely designed, with comfortable bedding and a bathroom featuring a separate shower and toilet, complete with a smart toilet. Thirdly, the service was wonderfully attentive. The young lady at the front desk, seeing we had elderly parents and a child, proactively helped us with our luggage. Breakfast was abundant, and they even gave us a small gift when we checked out – excellent! Overall, if you want to experience an Old Beijing Siheyuan without compromising on comfort, this place is truly ideal. It's especially perfect for families traveling with parents and children, offering both charm and convenience.

Perfectly situated next to many restaurants and cafés. Also 7 Eleven few mins by foot. Still it is not too loud in the nights. We overall enjoyed our stay. The bad thing about this hotel is that there is a noticeable smoke smell in all the rooms, some worse than others (after we checked our first room and it was like someone smoked a full pack of cigarettes right before we entered, we got 2 more rooms to choose from and they all smelled. In the end we decided for the one with the least smell and it was acceptable). Even though all the rooms are non smoking rooms they don't seem to mind it much.  Breakfast was ok but was mostly missing labels, so some things that aren't obvious like noodles or rice, you can just guess what it is. Apart from that everything was pretty good.

This stay far exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is superb, making it very convenient for shopping and dining. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom, with its separate wet and dry areas, had no unpleasant odors. The mattress and pillows were just right – neither too soft nor too hard. The soundproofing in the room was excellent; I couldn't hear any noise at night. The front desk staff were friendly, and both check-in and check-out were very efficient. Whenever I called for room service, items were delivered promptly. Toiletries and drinking water were plentiful. Overall, the environment was cozy and tidy, offering great value for money. This is definitely my top choice when visiting the area, and I've already recommended it to friends.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! Both the lobby and the outdoor courtyard are outstanding. It features a charming outdoor courtyard with a great atmosphere, complete with a brick wall perfect for photos that truly captures Beijing's character: a prominent 'Beijing' sign, traditional sand swallow kite decorations, and a fun 'Princess, get rich!' banner. It's a fantastic spot for pictures. The courtyard also has casual tables and chairs, perfect for resting after a long day of sightseeing. The greenery adds a touch of life, and there are photo opportunities everywhere. It's an ideal spot for anyone visiting Beijing and looking for great photo ops.

Is this a state-run hotel? The decor is simple and understated, but the bedding and pillows were very comfortable. All the concierge staff were incredibly warm and attentive, and the location is excellent, perfect for out-of-town tourists like us who came specifically to visit popular attractions like the Forbidden City. The room with a courtyard was really convenient for drying clothes. The breakfast was plentiful, but as someone from Guangdong, I was shocked to see the chef tear open instant noodle packets to cook for everyone – do Beijingers typically eat instant noodles for breakfast? And definitely avoid the Da Hai Wan Zha Jiang Mian next door, it's overpriced and not tasty at all.

This traditional courtyard hotel has an unparalleled ambiance and a fantastic location, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The hotel manager called ahead to confirm our arrival time and the number of guests. We were traveling with my parents and child, a total of four people, and had originally booked a room with two beds. To our surprise, they upgraded us directly to a deluxe family suite with two bedrooms, a living room, and a private entrance. The entire suite was smart-enabled. Both my parents and child absolutely loved it. They even gave us a souvenir when we left. This was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Beijing, highly recommend (five stars!)

My stay at the Waldorf Astoria Beijing was absolutely perfect, earning a full five-star review! I experienced both the main building and the traditional courtyard rooms. The location is superb, right next to Wangfujing and within walking distance to the Forbidden City, making getting around incredibly convenient. The hotel's design is truly unique and thoughtful. The rooms are spacious and elegant, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the amenities are high-quality and smell wonderful – every detail shows great care. Our butler, Willow, provided attentive and thoughtful service; she was warm, polite, and perfectly balanced, never being intrusive. The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring both authentic Beijing specialties and delicious Western options. The afternoon tea was beautiful and tasted just as good as it looked. This is definitely the top luxury hotel to stay at when visiting Beijing. Highly recommended!

The young lady at the front desk during the day was incredibly enthusiastic. My husband and I, two seniors, had two large suitcases, and she helped us carry them downstairs. She even waited with us for our ride-hailing car and helped us load them in. We really can't thank her enough! The location is great; turn right out of the main entrance and there's a delicious Shunde restaurant. The food is fantastic! The hotel's location is truly excellent, though the only drawback is the lack of an elevator.

The room was fine, except for the lack of a window. It offered great value for money and the surrounding area was excellent, with plenty of food and entertainment options right outside. There was Mr. Savage's ice cream and delicious copper pot hotpot, which was a real treat.

Excellent location near Tiananmen, Forbidden City and Wangfujing (all walkable). Subway just 10 mins away on foot, bus stop right outside with the major sight seeing lines. No breakfast provided but there’s enough food places around and an in house cafe. Room is clean and well sized, good for 2 big luggage open on the floor with space to walk and a large closet. Shampoo/ bath gel, slippers, toothbrushes provided. Shower has good water pressure although curtain is short so water tends to get out of the bath area, nothing a towel can’t solve. Shoutout to the front desk staff (Miss Tian/Liu/Zhang/Li) for their friendliness and helpfulness, esp to Miss Li (night desk) for her quick initiative and service recovery after a miscommunication on room cleaning early in our stay. Love the roof terrace. We were on the first floor and felt that the soundproofing was good.

This hotel, nestled in a *hutong* (alleyway), is easily accessible by car right to its entrance. It boasts a large courtyard for parking. The rooms themselves evoke a classic, Old Beijing charm, feeling clean and tranquil with comfortable bedding. The service is meticulous. It's an Atour hotel with an excellent location in a *hutong*, close to major attractions and very convenient for getting around. A top choice for accommodation when visiting Beijing.

Hygiene: Very clean and tidy, with daily room cleaning service. Environment: The surrounding area is quiet, ensuring a good night's sleep. It's also conveniently located for sightseeing; only half an hour from the Forbidden City. The airport express line goes directly to the hotel, and you can reach it in a few minutes by subway or bicycle. It's easy to get to all the famous attractions in Beijing.

Stayed here with my mom for one night right before Chinese New Year. I chose this hotel because of its direct proximity to Tiananmen Square. The room was small but well-equipped, and you can grab more bottled water from the front desk if you run out. There are quite a few restaurants nearby, but they were all closed for the holiday, making the area a bit deserted. We went to see the flag-raising ceremony in the morning, and both the bus and subway access were very convenient. However, the directions from Baidu Maps were a bit off, making it a little hard to find at first, but a quick call to the front desk sorted everything out.

Very cheap, 20 minutes bus from Beijing Station, convenient to buy things nearby, quiet outside the community. The bed I lived in was relatively clean and tidy, the curtains were shaded, the aisles and toilets were generally hygienic. The room is basically not soundproof, and the normal volume of the next door and corridor can be heard very clearly. There is no toilet paper and water (the first time I lived in the Youth Hostel, I don’t know if it’s all the same, there is no star deduction). Overall, the price of this location is very grateful, but the conditions are also proportional, not much cost-effective, choose according to demand.
