This Homestay was perfect for allowing my family to get a great night sleep and be able to walk to the Great Wall early and refreshed before the crowds arrived the next morning. The owner is extremely friendly and hospitable, and my family felt right at home. Would definitely recommend this Homestay!

Haha, I didn't expect the room I picked blindly would be so good~ The boss auntie is very kind. You can reserve breakfast, which is simple but tastes exactly like home. She is not shy about opening the kitchen, which is really, really clean. Seeing that we are students, she patiently told us how to take the bus and told us to be safe. How considerate~~ This hotel is really very good. I recommend everyone to stay here~~ The room is also very clean~~ Oh, the aunt also gave us fried chestnuts, which were sweet.

Overall, I am very satisfied. It is more than 800 meters away from the shuttle bus drop-off point, but this section is all uphill and a bit difficult to climb. (With a baby, I finally decided to save my energy for the Great Wall and chose to take a taxi😂) We arrived at 9pm and the boss lady was waiting for us. What you see is what you get, the pictures are consistent with the real thing. The double bed room is the first one after entering the door. It is a very simple single room without so many complicated decorations. It is fresh and elegant. The bed was quite comfortable, the bedding was clean, and the pillows were a little too high for my daughter and me. The water column of the shower head in the shower is very dense and comfortable, but the shower head tends to fall down and needs some improvement. The eldest sister booked us round-trip tickets for the ropeway and slide, which were great. Breakfast is home-made steamed cakes, home-grown cucumbers, millet porridge, eggs and pickles. After eating and drinking, we set off on time at 7:30. The eldest sister is really warm and makes people feel at home. It's just a one-night stay and there's nothing to be picky about.

It's a detached house on the side of the road. I went there early and the previous guests had just left. I saw the auntie cleaning the room for a long time. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was very comfortable, and I slept very well. The landlord is a retired lady, very warm and thoughtful. She booked tickets for me and helped me call a taxi when it was raining heavily. What touched me most was that when it was raining heavily, the lady saw that I had a child with me and personally held an umbrella for me to get in the taxi, just to prevent my child's shoes from getting wet.

Clean, simple, and the boss is very welcoming. The location is convenient and fast. You can drive straight up to where the Great Wall shuttle bus stops. If you want to take the shuttle bus, you need to walk down a bit to the main entrance and take the shuttle bus.
