Houdao Hotel (Dongzhimen Sanlitun store) Reviews

Hotel is cheap and location is not bad. Sanlitun's restaurants,bars and night life are just 15 minutes by bike. If you have cleanliness problem don't go to this hotel. Because hotel wasn't perfect clean. it was also smelly something. I can't recommend any friend this hotel. But If you don't have an alternative you can stay there. 😁

The location is 15 min from Dongzhimen metro station, which is ok. A plus is that the hotel is close to a beautiful river embankment. Unfortunately the room was a bit shabby, the wallpaper was not sticking to the wall in some places, the bathroom floor was very clean in the corners.

The hotel is quite tired, old furniture, everything is shabby. In principle, you can live for a couple of nights , but it could be better. Near beautiful park.

The hotel has a good location near a metrostation and at a walking distance of Dongzhimen station, it's also nearby Sanlitun and the Liangmahe river (nice walks). The room is quite spacious with 2 seats, but a little dark. The ladies at the reception are helpful and friendly. I was disappointed though that they couldn't give a better price for a second week of stay.

I am a solo traveller to Beijing and I was searching for a good convenient location hotel within a budget. The hotel is clean, quiet, and located nearby DongZhiMen metro station. The MuBus service to The Great Wall starts from DongZhiMen so it is very comfortable and convenient to stay at this hotel.

Had a great stay at Houdao Hotel. Metro is a 10-15 minute walk away, but that’s ok. Room service was there every day. Nice and quiet room, I can only recommend staying there. However, you must be aware that it is a rather cheap hotel and some things don’t look the cleanest anymore.

Great hotel with very kind and helpful staff! The room was tidy and cleaned everyday. The surrounding area is also great and very walkable. There a lot of cafes and restaurants to eat at which are 10-15 minutes away. I liked the hotel and area so much that I even extended my stay by a week. Overall, a very pleasant stay with no troubles.

The location is convenient for T3 airport.

I didn’t have any problems at the reception every thing was okay even though they didn’t escort my room but I found my way to my room and I would like to specify more about the location of the hotel which is not the same of what they are mentioning on the maps I have saw myself asking for the hotel location on the street but apart that everything was just fine I am going to rate they 7 out of 10. It’s been a great journey Thanks.
