San Diego Beach Hotels

I checked into Embassy Suites by Hilton San Diego La Jolla on Friday evening this week. During my stay, I accidentally lost my passport, which caused me a great deal of stress, as it is extremely important to me. I would like to sincerely thank Celsa and Kayla, as well as any other staff members whose names I may have missed. With their help, my passport was eventually found and carefully kept safe for me. Their professionalism, kindness, and patience truly made a difficult situation much easier. I am deeply grateful for their support and care, and this experience really showed me how much the staff genuinely looks out for their guests. This is a beautiful, clean hotel in Little Italy, a very safe area.. Only a 9 mins walked up to Union from the trolley. It has 2 entrances, one on Front and one on Union. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a balcony overlooking the pool and with views of the bay. The pool is one of the upper floor so it is on a rooftop and it is aldo heated. The hotel also has a nice resturant and bar. It was a very comfortable and will stay here again in tbe future.

The hotel room is very old. The location and environment are very good. However, after the departure, the authorization deposit was deducted for more than 28 US dollars. No one mentioned it, including Ctrip and the hotel front desk. I don't know why the previous comments didn't mention Everyone should pay attention to when considering hotels.

Was fine. Room was excellent. Breakfast was ok not bad. Hotel has gym and pool I didn’t use though. The only bad thing is it’s right next to rail crossing and it’s always very noisy.

This is my second time staying here. I booked a regular room last time, but this time I booked a house next to the bay. It is really great, with pleasant scenery. I took my children to feed the seagulls as soon as I opened my eyes in the morning. The service staff in the entire park are very friendly and will chat with you with a smile. There are five swimming pools in the park. We went to the largest one. The children swam while the adults sat next to them to bask in the sun and order food. It was very comfortable. I will bring an electric scooter next time. It must be fun to visit the park! If there are any shortcomings, the facilities are relatively old and the air conditioner is very noisy. There is nothing else.

The hotel is located on a peninsula, with the bay front and back, and the scenery is beautiful. It is a few kilometers away from downtown, so it is convenient to drive to shopping and eating. There is a parking lot downstairs for 30 knives a day. The front desk service attitude is very good, and the check-in is very fast. The room facilities are a bit old, and there is a small balcony with a sea view. The bathroom is generally clean, but a cockroach was found in the bathroom.

The location is good, close to the beach. The hotel itself is similar to a domestic express hotel. The hardware is average, and the air conditioner and exhaust fan are very loud. Parking is relatively convenient, but you have to pay $21 per night. Another weird thing is that the car cannot go directly from the lobby to the guest room inside the hotel. You need to park in the lobby after checking in and then drive to the main road to the guest room parking space. The overall cost performance is not high. The breakfast is good.

A typical motel, traditional American breakfast, free parking! $ 50 deposit, cash is recommended, credit card refund has not been received for half a month! It's very close to Ocean Park, just 15 minutes by car to the aircraft carrier! There is a 711 supermarket across the road. It takes about 15-20 minutes to drive to the Chinese supermarket! Room was clean and overall good

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱. I stayed there for 2 weeks, working from home during the day, going out at night. Pros: - excellent value for the comfort and amenities at under $65/night - great desk & comfortable chair for laptop work - nice modern Philips large-screen TV you can connect to via HDMI - the Internet was ok (~10Mbps) but disconnected daily (reconnecting the WiFi restored it) - pretty quiet considering the proximity to the freeway: just white noise, haven't heard any revving or sirens - walls don't provide much sound insulation but I've heard only ONE neighbor conversation during my 2-week stay. It did help that I chose a room on the top floor, and next to the janitorial room (#522) - the wall-mounted A/C was surprisingly quiet, and heating worked fast - ventilation was okay if you keep the window open about 1ft - only saw 3 flying insects, and a crawling one in the shower - clean room, only found a few hair strands in the shower - mini-fridge was quiet and held a week's worth of food - great use of space: 4 large drawers, rack with clothes hangers, space for suitcases to be out of the way, 2 mirrors - the staff was very kind of provide a microwave, can opener, paper plates - pool was clean - two hot tubs were great, and MUCH cleaner than my friend's who stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott next door - coin-operated laundry on site ($2.50 + $2.50 W/D, $1.50 laundry soap) - nice landscaping and you could smell eucalyptus trees Neutral: - the pool/hot tub area closed at 10pm - there's nothing to do in the walkable area (just other hotels), but North Park is only a $10 Uber ride away, and the Fashion Mall is right across the freeway - construction in front of the lobby should be finished by the end of 2025 Cons: - gym was tiny and lacking: only 4 cardio machines (one elliptical that felt awkward) and one cable station with fixed cable points; no free weights, towels, or watercooler cups

I had a very frustrating experience at this hotel. They charge a $500 deposit, which, combined with my total bill of $1,000, exceeded my credit card limit of $1,300. As a result, I could only pay for 4 out of the 7 nights, totaling $790. My friend had to cover the remaining 3 nights, but his card was charged $1,600! The hotel’s receipt logic is very confusing; it’s unclear how much was charged to each card and what those amounts correspond to. After checking out on October 18, I was told my payment would be refunded, but as of today, November 2, I still haven’t received any notification regarding the refund. This has been an extremely disappointing and stressful experience. If you’re not concerned about high deposits and the potential for delays in refunds, you might feel comfortable staying here. Otherwise, I would recommend looking for a different hotel.
