Very Good
FfarmaIt was a clean hostel. It is a quiet and relaxing neighborhood. There is a convenience store right in front of the hostel. There are many restaurants around. The reception staff is friendly. It was uncomfortable because the hot water didn't come out for a while during my stay. The biggest advantage of the hostel is that bottled water is free. You can drink clean bottled water in the kitchen sink.
GGuest UserIt is a nice resort for a young family. Please note it is quite away from Playa de america beach and on a steep hill. We had our room at the top of the hill, almost felt like going up 4 floors to get to the room. Limited vegetarian options in hot food. This is quite common with any other resort in Canary Islands. So be ready to compromise on it.
We got 4 single beds. If you are a couple who need a double bed, this could be a problem 😉.
Parking is €5 per day although hotel is far away from beaches. This is something they should provide free. No option outside to park due to steep hill.
We requested to move our room lower as my wife has asthma but not much of luck.
Ggelinde joyceService was perfect, cleaning was good. Checkin was fast. Breakfast is very disappointing, the Beach club palazza is also very bad food there. I got very sick from it. Location of palazza is good, for a thank you you can go there quietly but to eat I would not do it.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel was very good, direct access from the pool to the sea ! Very nice pool with large swimweather beds ! Rooms are large, unfortunately only a ceiling ventilator, but no air conditioning, was sufficient for the season (February) but. Breakfast offer very good with mirror eggs, røry, spice and beans. Unfortunately, there were only 2 coffee machines and it formed long snakes before the devices because the machines worked quite slowly. It was also because some people pressed the Espresso key 5 times for a cup of coffee to get a cup full. Otherwise I can recommend the hotel further !
GGuest UserWe loved the location and apartment. The apartment had great, thoughtful touches like a bottle of water chilling in the fridge and washing-up liquid and sponge under the sink.
The pool was fantastic and we loved hiring the fancy day beds around the pool.
The only thing we weren’t sold on was the small cafe/bar, it smelled like a grease and smoke. The iced coffee was lovely and the staff were fabulous. The cleaners were out every morning cleaning the entire pool area throroughly. We enjoyed the snooker table too for €1.50
GGuest UserLovely hotel at a very good location. Modern, nicely decorated for Christmas. Polite staff, good choice for breakfast and dinner. Christmas dinner was something out of this world( been to many hotels, but Xmas dinner now will be hard to match). Not sure if it is always like this but we were the youngest in the hotel(43&47)during the first part of holidays and only later some other younger people joined us. The average age was 60's 😁 This hotel is not orientated to children but for us it was perfect- no screaming and shouting and our girl had fun in the pool by
Herself and her cousin🤣 I wanted to book Spring Hotel Bitacora at first but now I am thinking that I made an excellent choice . That said, I might try it out next time just because of the All nclusive service Bitacora provides. It was a nice quiet stay so if you expect something like Turkey, eith music around the pool, kids disco and shows, this hotel is not for you. We were half board and 4 days we ate at the pool bar and were never disappointed. Good food and reasonable prices. We didn't book UP option because we were with the kids( it's for 18+)but if I ever come without them- I will try it out!
Pros:
Very good location
Modern hotel
Heated pools( wheelchair friendly)
Good food and service
Cons:
No shampoo in a room! It's a first for me 🙈
The tiles in the pool (mosaic) need replacement. My daughter filled probably half of the carrier bag from the bottom saw of the pool🤣
All in all- perfect stay and believe me, I am picky. It is one of the hotels I would recommend to my friends and family
VVonnyclareGorgeous fully equipped studio apartment. Lovely pool. Easy, friendly check in. Great location, within a short walk from the beach and restaurants. Would definitely recommend, will study here next time I visit. Thank you to the lovely staff.
GGuest UserThe hotel is clean but the facilities are worn-out. Breakfast is just awful. The stuff is very polite and helpful. The location is fantastic. It was correct for the price, but definitely not a 4-star level. Could be a bit of noise from the road, but the windows are well-isolated. The air-condition works well. Not a bad choice for short stays!
BBanmasimaxiangruThe room is good, not only can you see the sea but also bask in the sun on the balcony, the breakfast is good 👍dinner is even better. The facilities are complete, the sanitation is very good, the environment is elegant, and the attitude of the service staff is very good.
