"The hotel was just okay- it did its job for the one night I was in Tallinn
Location- great, close to many places I intended to see
The price was what sold me on this hotel
Breakfast- lacking, but I don’t typically use the continental breakfast.
Room was large and spacious. The sauna in the room was the biggest perk.
No AC and room was warm, but did have a fan and windows opened
TV had limited channels and could not cast from personal device"
I was very disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. The air conditioning in my room was out of order, and despite informing the staff, no one can be able to fix it during my stay. The hotel was fully booked, so I was told I could not be moved to another Superior King room. Instead, I was downgraded to the only available tiny Classic room, which was smaller and less comfortable. To make matters worse, the hotel did not refund the price difference between the two room categories.
Because the air conditioning was not working, I had tried to open the window for ventilation. However, insects kept flying into the room, making it uncomfortable and unpleasant. The room was also located next to a large, busy road with constant traffic, resulting in extreme noise throughout the day and night. With heavy rain yesterday, I could not even keep the window open. Finally we were forced to move to the tiny downgraded room.Overall, a very disappointing experience.
Breakfast is very good (with dessert), the room is large and clean, the hotel is located between the pier and the ancient city (by Helsinki, Finland) is very convenient, the hotel price is also cheap, there is a supermarket opposite, it is recommended. (Tallin is worth a visit and feels more worthwhile than Helsinki)
