"Very helpful staff who provided detailed guidance on transport options from/to ferry terminal (we used Bolt ride hailing app-4.30€ after midnight to hotel and 6.40€ at evening peak to ferry terminal). They also gave comprehensive suggestions on places of interest and restaurants. Every frontline staff was excellent with special kudos to Alex especially and Keitlin. Tasty degustation menu at the Michelin-starred restaurant in the hotel. There's an excellent market, florist/plant nursery and supermarket a short ten minutes walk away. Bought a lovely Aechmea 'Blue Tango' bromeliad packed beautifully with soil washed off to carry on the flight home to Singapore. Grabbed a variety of smoked/cured meats and jerky (deer, elk, moose, wild boar, wild beef) and local Kalev chocs."

"Great location, very close to tram/bus stop.
Breakfast was okay. Typical hotel breakfast menu.
Service- the front (reception) needs to work on her service attitude. Some are fine, that particular one really doesnt know to show what hospitality is. Staff at breakfast room were awesome, welcoming with great smile.
Room-a bit smaller than expected but decent size for solo traveler."

"The location is great, it’s at the edge of the old town so most of the places in the city centre are within working distance.
Cleanliness can be improved though - there was some long hair in the bed…
Breakfast is very basic. I would have expected a bit more in terms of quality of food (eg. Scrabble egg was rubbery, juice was just diluted chemical). But price is reasonable overall."

"It is a popular hotel in the old city area, and the Emperor Heisei Heisei stayed there and was a five-star hotel with a restaurant. We had the same menu “Emperor Dinner” that the Majesty had eaten at the restaurant. Even though it was old, the facilities and air conditioning were very good, the staff were clean and the staff were very good, and it was a wonderful stay. Although it rained in the middle of the night, the ghost of the grandmother who shuts the shutters did not appear (lol) The location is also well recommended."

"We booked this hotel after our initial accommodation in Tallinn was a let down. The location is great, and the ease of check-in digitally was ideal and the hotel is well kept.
We were given a room on the 7th floor in the corner (734)
Unfortunately that was the end of our comfort, my Husband and I were both woken up at 1:30am to heavy cleaning machinery being used to clean the wellness centre. It was so loud above us, on top of that a lot of banging and other noises whilst they were cleaning.
First of all, who cleans a gym wellness centre at 1:30am? I understand it’s a 24 hour centre but surely it would make sense to clean it earlier in the evening? Especially if it’s situated about guest rooms? I called the reception and the lady was trying to convince me that it was the ventilation and that “no one was in the gym”, which was actually confirmed by the manager the next morning that it was in fact the cleaners.
We probably won’t be reimbursed in any way by the hotel but if you stay here, request a room not on the 7th floor!"

LLamblampBecause I want to take a boat to Helsinki, I specially booked this hotel that is relatively close to the pier. Taking a bolt to the pier costs about 4 euros. In fact, there are several shopping malls near the hotel, including supermarkets and food courts. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the old town, which is very convenient.
The front desk is courteous. When you check in, you will be given two hand straps, which you can use to bring into the swimming pool and sauna. The room is tidy and larger than expected. Our room is located on a high-rise building facing the inner street, so it is not noisy.
Rich breakfast options, perfect for a short stay in Tallinn
There is a sister hotel next to it, metropol hotel, which is older and has foreign groups staying there, so be sure not to make a mistake.

MMeganNo kettle no desk, but the design was sleek and modern. They have a free flow coffee machine with hot water dispenser at the lobby, however a but of a pain to trek down for hot water for tea. No slippers provided (ostensibly for sustainability but the tiled bathroom was freezing). Overall very comfortable night’s sleep on the bed however, and the bench seat was the perfect height for me (limited mobility due to hip disability) i would have liked a shelf in the bath to put my own toiletries on and the water temperature fluctuated lots during a shower. The room heater wasn’t terribly warm, overall the room temperature stayed stubbornly at 23 degrees (definitely colder at some spots) and still chilly for tropical natives like me. It was a fairly close walk from the bus terminal (unfortunately the paths were iced over and no one had cleared the ice when I arrived. No cabs available so I had to hoof it over with luggage in tow. Without the spikes I had with me to pull onto my boots, I would have no doubt fallen a few times. The staff were overall pleasant and professional. There’s a map provided of the main attractions as well. If you do succeed at getting a cab, there is a driveway adjacent so the driver can pick you up from the hotel itself. Not too far a walk from the old town - about 20-30 minutes.

SsnoozyharuThe standard room bathroom is in desperate need of a renovation. Old style gradient floor tiles for the shower, with a shower curtain too close if you're a normal sized person. If you need to provide a floor squeegee you know there's a problem.
The room overall is clean and comfortable. Free parking onsite is a plus as it's far away from old town centre. Plan your driving and parking routes and you will likely save on parking overnight at other hotels.
Big shopping centre opposite is convenient.
Couldn't really hear much aircraft noise, probably because it's not a very busy airport, especially at night.
However, got unlucky with the window facing a floor which was very loud when it rained the whole night.

WwanderingmumSecond time booking here and it's a good improvement from our last stay. Some of the morning waitresses are now smiling and greeting us back. Some still don't but this is an improvement from my last review.
The check in was smooth but the kids didn't get a coloring book this time 😆 Maybe it was only for first-timers. We got cleaner and better rooms this time probably due to the renovation.
The waterpark is still great and clean. We definitely recommend this hotel to families with children and even to peoplw who enjoy swimming, lounging, and saunas.
The location is great because it's a hop away from a tram station. Definitely recommend!

The location is great only about 10/15 minute walk into town or €3 bolt ride. Spa was included in my booking, didn’t get a chance to use it but looked good and others said was really nice. MMikeJMJonesThis is a typical 3.5 star European hotel. It is in an excellent location in the middle of the Tallinn Old Town, has comfortable but typically-smallish double rooms, wonderful breakfasts, and warm ac. I would recommend it to couples. However, we would not stay here again. Even though we booked and were fully paid more than 2 months before the hotel stay, we were told on our arrival that our room had been, ”double booked”. We were dispatched to a room with smaller than single beds positioned end to end in a room that resembled a school camp facility. When I suggested that this was unsatisfactory, the front desk person stated in front of other guests, ”That's too bad”. After walking the old town and returning, the manager had placed us in a better room for one night and we then had our pre-booked room for the next three nights. Additionally, the lift does not extend to the 4th floor so it was a struggle carrying large suitcases up stairs and across other uneven floors. Finally at check out, the receptionist insisted that our original payment was rejected by ”their system” so I had to pay again. She withdrew the allegation after I showed her a stamped receipt. She then retorted, ”must have been a system error”. In my opinion, two different staff members could benefit from some serious service-industry professional development. However, other staff were very friendly and helpful; it was a very central location; and the breakfasts were delicious.

Also the cabin beds are very good, you can create a private area by covering them with a blanket yourself. ババニョンIt's about a 15-minute walk from the Tallinn ferry terminal. It was also about a 15-minute walk to the city center.
The room is small. The walls and doors are very thin, so you can hear every sound of daily life😂
I had trouble falling asleep because the neighbors on both sides were noisy until late at night. This is just luck, so there's nothing you can do about it...
The shower room and toilet are clean. The shower temperature and water pressure are good. You can borrow a hair dryer at the front desk.
