The facilities were comprehensive, it was clean and hygienic, and the location was fantastic, right near Fisherman's Wharf with absolutely stunning views. The service was also top-notch. What really stood out was the complimentary travel photography session after check-in. The photography team was incredibly dedicated, highly skilled, and professional. They captured the best scenery, significantly enhancing my overall experience in Yantai. All in all, I was extremely satisfied, haha.

GGuest UserThe Golden Gulf Hotel Yantai looks old from the outside but the interior is nicely furnished with modern technology. They use robots to send guest needs, they had heated toilet seats for the winter used. Among the 4 hotels I stayed at on this trip they are the only ones that provide heated toilet seats. That is their facility that impressed me.
If they are not considered a local 5 Star hotel, they definitely have a 6 Star service. Service from the front office staff, to the operator from the call center and the host at the restaurant were excellent. They definitely left a very good impression on me as a guest of the hotel. Special thanks to Serene and Jenny at the front office for the excellent service provided during my stay. Will surely come back to stay here again when I visit Yantai in future.

Even though the weather was getting colder, the moment I stepped into the hotel, I felt a strong sense of warmth. The room was cozy and spotless, and the best surprise was the comfortable bathtub – a lovely hot bath in the evening washed away a whole day's fatigue instantly; it was truly therapeutic!
The hotel service was also incredibly thoughtful. The staff always had a smile on their faces and were ready to help with anything. Anna even gave me a 'good luck' care package for my postgraduate entrance exam. And the location is simply unbeatable; the sea is right outside, so you can go for a stroll, listen to the waves, and enjoy the scenery in a matter of minutes.
I thought staying by the sea in winter would be cold, but I worried for nothing! The air conditioning and underfloor heating in the room were more than sufficient, making it as warm as spring. Walking barefoot on the floor was so comfortable that I didn't want to leave~ For friends who want to see the sea in winter but are afraid of the cold, you can absolutely go for it!
I've already saved this as a treasure hotel and will definitely be back! 🧡🌊

GGuest UserThe hotel is geographically located in the center of Yantai city. It has convenient transportation and is a 5-minute walk from Yuhuangding Park. The hotel's service and management are very attentive. The room fruits are updated daily. There are yogurt, tremella soup, bagged laundry detergent, headbands, special shells. On the day of check-out, Ms. Yue Aihua（岳爱华）, a full-time floor butler, personally sent out the door. She also intimately prepared fruits, drinking water and yogurt, and proper super five-star service.

The full sea-view room offers an unbeatable ocean view; it was incredibly relaxing to enjoy the 'orange sea' while soaking in the tub. I'll definitely stay here again! The front desk specially arranged a room where I could watch the sunrise over the sea. Waking up to such a beautiful sunrise was truly unforgettable! The complimentary photoshoot from the hotel was also fantastic! The beach is right behind the hotel, and the photographer was incredibly professional, taking amazing shots! Super satisfied!

GGuest UserI recently stayed at Pullman Yantai Center Hotel, and overall the experience was excellent. The hotel truly feels deserving of its 5-star rating, with outstanding service, facilities, and atmosphere.
However, there were a few maintenance issues that affected the stay experience. The SONY TV in the room had very poor pixel resolution and display quality. In addition, the bathtub drain plug was difficult to operate and had to be manually removed by hand, and the windows leaked during the rain.
There was also an overcharge issue at the front desk during my stay, but the receptionist handled it professionally and promptly corrected the problem by issuing a refund. Their service was outstanding.
In addition, I did not receive the wine factory coupons that were supposed to be included during my stay.
I hope the hotel can improve these details, as the rest of the stay was otherwise very enjoyable.

GGuest UserOur stay at the Yantai Xinguang Marriott Hotel was absolutely fantastic! First off, the location is unbeatable – you step right out onto Golden Beach, no roads to cross, which is incredibly convenient. The sea view is unparalleled! The room was spacious and tidy, well-equipped with all amenities, and even had a scenic balcony. Airla at the front desk was so warm and helpful; she even upgraded our room, which offered an especially beautiful view! The huge floor-to-ceiling windows provided an amazing vista. On top of that, they thoughtfully provided sand toys for the kids, which was a lovely touch. The environment is peaceful yet central, and the value for money is exceptional. It's the perfect choice for a family vacation, highly recommended! The photographers and retouchers for the travel photoshoot were also very patient with communication and during the shoot.

GGuest UserAn impeccable luxury experience regarding the ambiance, but the front desk service was just average.
**Pros:**
1. **Environment & Room:** The hotel's ambiance is truly grand and upscale! From the moment you step into the lobby, the stylish decor and high ceilings connecting three levels are perfect for photos and leisurely strolls. Our room had a well-designed layout. The bedding was only average, but I still slept soundly. The bathroom was a particular highlight, featuring marble finishes, wet/dry separation, a massive bathtub, and toiletries from a well-known brand.
3. **Location:** Excellent location, situated in a prime central area, making it incredibly convenient for both sightseeing and business travelers.
4. **Breakfast:** The most significant highlight was breakfast: The spread was incredibly extensive, easily comparable to other 5-star hotels, and served over a long period. A truly touching detail was witnessed towards the end of breakfast service: the staff member in charge of the bread station ensured everything was replenished so that even the last guests had ample choices.
**Cons (and some amusing points):**
1. For a 5-star hotel positioning itself as family-friendly, we stayed in the 'International Zone,' which apparently isn't a dedicated children's area, so no kids' toiletries were provided. We had to call the front desk to request children's items like water and toiletries. A young male staff member arrived with a disposable bag containing four bottles of water and adult toiletries. He then informed us that the children's toiletries cost 30 RMB. I told him I didn't need the toiletries, just the water and children's slippers in the bag. To my astonishment, he replied that wasn't possible because their disposable bags are charged for, and he couldn't just give me one! This was my first time encountering a family-friendly 5-star hotel that neither provides basic children's toiletries nor charges for a disposable bag. For an 800 RMB/night hotel, charging for a disposable bag is unbelievably petty and stingy.
2. Front desk service was rather uninspired. They were quick to recommend self-service options and offered no information unless specifically asked; we had to inquire about breakfast location and times ourselves.
3. The hotel's children's play area has a rule allowing only one parent to enter with a child under 120cm, which is understandable. My child played for a while, and I wanted to step out briefly to smoke by the lobby entrance, but was told I couldn't, and doing so would forfeit my re-entry chance. I didn't mind that too much. However, later, my child twisted their ankle and was resting after buying some food in the dining area. I approached the staff at the entrance, explaining that my child was in pain and I couldn't carry them, so I asked if their father could come in to help carry them out directly. They responded that they had no authority and I needed to apply for permission. This utterly astonished me again – do I really need to apply for permission just to pick up my injured child? Although the wait was only 3 minutes, which isn't long, I still found the management's policy utterly unreasonable.

FFuyao&I recently stayed at the Penglai Marriott Hotel, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations! As a seaside resort hotel, its location, service details, and facilities are all highly recommended.
📍 Location: 10/10 The hotel boasts a prime location on the Penglai beachfront, with rooms facing the azure sea and sky, allowing you to enjoy sunrises and sunsets without leaving your room. It's only a 10-minute walk to the Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea Scenic Area and a 15-minute drive to Penglai Pavilion, making it incredibly convenient for tourists. Evening strolls along the seaside boardwalk, with the sea breeze on your face, are absolutely delightful.
🏨 Hotel Environment and Design: 9.5/10 The lobby design blends modern art with Penglai's Taoist cultural elements, creating a grand yet localized atmosphere. The rooms are well-laid out, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering unobstructed sea views. The bedding is comfortable, and the hygiene is impeccable; I especially appreciated the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom and the high-quality toiletries provided.
🍽 Dining Experience: 9/10 The breakfast selection was plentiful, offering both classic Western dishes and local specialties (such as Penglai noodles and seafood porridge), with fresh ingredients. For dinner, we tried the seafood set meal at the hotel's Chinese restaurant. The chef's control of cooking time and seasoning was perfect, and the waiters even thoughtfully explained the stories behind the dishes.
👨👩👧 Family-Friendly: 9.10 Families with children will definitely love this place! The hotel has an indoor children's playground and an outdoor swimming pool (open in summer), and staff will give children small toys. There are many nearby attractions, so kids won't be bored all day.
🌟 Service Details: 9.10 From check-in to check-out, we experienced meticulous and thoughtful service throughout. Check-in was quick at the front desk, room service was responsive, and the concierge proactively offered suggestions for nearby attractions. Upon check-out, the front desk gave us a small souvenir from Penglai, a very thoughtful touch.

· We recommend choosing a high-floor ocean-view room for a more expansive view;
· The hotel garden is perfect for an evening stroll and takes great photos;
· Off-season bookings offer better value; keep an eye out for special packages in advance.
