AAnonymous UserThis time, our family of 6 stayed for 3 nights. Most people might have planned to have a BBQ dinner, but because it snowed for 2 days, it was a bit difficult to cook our own meals in the kitchen of the accommodation using local ingredients! Because there are too few equipment, only a small frying pan and a small soup pot, the equipment is relatively simple. I don’t know if it’s because of the cold weather, but both of the pipes in the bathroom sink are leaking…
But the staff provided good service and were warm and welcoming, and there was no problem communicating in English! Because of this, when it was snowing heavily and the snow tires were useless, they took the initiative to contact us and come to provide roadside assistance. Thank you so much🙏
However, please note that if you are traveling with an elderly person, unless it is House 3, there is a pebbled slope before entering the house, which is quite difficult.

KKURIRI123The experience is very good and the city center is very close. The beach is right in front of you. The massage hot spring has a very soothing effect. The Kobe Tower is right in front of you. Going to the department store for shopping is also a few minutes away by taxi. I will book here next time I come to Kobe

There are many small details. The small refrigerator is filled with chocolates and other snacks. In addition, there are foot relief patches, etc. It is worth staying

LlionciaRight as I stepped out of the subway station, I was lucky enough to catch the hotel's shuttle bus. The driver already had the list of guests checking in that day. Our hotel room was incredibly spacious, and the service was truly impeccable. The Kaiseki dinner we had ordered was exceptionally fresh and delicious. The hotel also features a traditional *kominka* (old Japanese house), which is said to be a lovely tea room. However, you do need to make an advance reservation at the front desk. Both the Kin-no-yu (Golden Spring) and Gin-no-yu (Silver Spring) were absolutely fantastic. Despite having a scabbed-over leg injury, I couldn't resist taking a dip in the hot springs. To my surprise, my wound showed no ill effects whatsoever.

AAndrea ElijhaOverall, the experience was pleasant, with the only minor drawback being the price, which was a bit steep. While I had hoped for a more traditional Japanese garden and architecture, the hotel itself leans towards a modern Japanese aesthetic.
Visiting in summer, gazing at the lush green mountains through the window truly feels like a picturesque framed view, and the hot springs were wonderfully rejuvenating. However, I suspect autumn would be the most opportune time to visit, to witness the mountains ablaze with crimson foliage (assuming the trees aren't evergreen).
A misunderstanding arose at check-out due to unclear communication regarding payment policies between the booking platform, the hotel, and myself. The hotel insisted they had not received the online payment and demanded offline payment for a range of services, including breakfast, dinner, taxes, accommodation, and private onsen. As a customer, I initially thought I was being double-charged, as I had already made a payment online. The total cost for the two-day stay was approximately 221,110 JPY, which converts to roughly 11,000 HKD or CNY.
Upon immediately contacting Trip.com's customer service, they confirmed that our online payment covered both accommodation and meals, and advised that the hotel's demand for offline payment for these items was contentious and unnecessary. It was only later clarified that the payment made on Trip.com was merely a hold to secure the room and would be fully refunded upon check-out.

GGuest UserOur stay was absolutely fantastic. Every single staff member was incredibly friendly, and the room itself was very comfortable. The traditional Japanese-style room (washitsu) was a particularly charming touch. Both dinner and breakfast were exquisitely prepared, and the onsen (hot spring) was wonderfully relaxing. We stayed with my parents and children, and everyone in our group was thoroughly delighted.

I felt the owner's kindness during my stay.
I was given a pamphlet with various information and tourist spots, and I went to two tourist spots based on that information. I don't think there are many people who spend two days without making any plans like me, but thanks to you, I was able to spend two days ”spaced out”. Thank you very much. (I put in a new pamphlet)
One thing that concerns me is the nice toilet on the second floor, but the lock doesn't lock properly. Please check it as women also use it.
Actually, I went to the toilet around 2am and the door sign was ”blue”, so I tried to open it a little, and a woman's voice said ”I'm sorry” from inside, which surprised me, but I felt embarrassed and sorry that it was my mistake to try to enter without knocking on the door.
Please check the toilet lock.
On the first night, the floor was soaked with what looked like urine for about 1m toward the toilet.
I was not happy either, so I wiped it down a few times with the provided paper and returned the toilet to its original, clean state.
It looked like the boys hadn't made it in time to pee, but I don't think that was the case.
Anyway, I was touched by the owner's feelings and I'm very grateful for the pleasant two days.

AAsharonThe homestay is located near Xiwuzi Station. There are many foods around. Just by the sea, you can see the Akashihai Bridge. At night, the bridge is lit with lights, and the waves are heard during the day. The environment is good. The staff is also very good at serving. It is a group of young people who will help with luggage. Very lucky that night, the room was alone, otherwise it might be a bit crowded. The room will have a little taste.

YYangYannI'm so satisfied. There are both gold and silver soups. Although the facilities are relatively old, they are quite clean and there are very few people. I went there twice and no one could compare to the private soup treatment. The waiter gave various explanations in detail and patiently explained various things. The problem is that the heating in the room is really strong and even gets hot. I ordered a Japanese breakfast and the aunt set the table and explained how to eat it and let me eat it while it was hot. The room is really not small, and the Japanese style is very interesting. You can smoke in the room, and you can store your luggage at the front desk. One night at Arima Onsen is enough, and 2 nights is enough if you like to soak. The price/performance ratio here is very high.
