Additionally, the Hotel features a variety of authentic cuisine at its six restaurants and bars, and it has a complete range of recreational facilities including the award-winning OM Spa, state-of-the-art gym, an outdoor pool and an indoor heated swimming pool.

"When you walk into the lobby you're astounded by the richness of it. It's shiny and modern and lovely. Everyone is professional and friendly, and you're literally attached to the airport, so all your anxiety melts away knowing you'll get there on time. You go up the elevator to your floor and the musty smell of mildew slaps you in the nose. You push your luggage through deep pile carpet, trying not to think about how long it's been there and swearing you've seen it in some classic 80s films. You get to your room. It's the smell that hits you first. Moldy. It's overwhelming. You go to open a window but it's secured shut with screws. The warped walls and carpets tell you this hotel was a gem thirty or forty years ago and they've done very little to it since. The refillable water bottle is amazing. I loved it. The shower was hot and the bathroom was clean. Excellent. The smell gave me a headache and I slept poorly because the ac had to stay on and stay cold to keep the smell at bay. The breakfast was a good break from the bleakness of the room. I guess what bothers me is it wouldn't take a whole lot to make some improvements. New carpet. Air purifier. I know there's more than a thousand rooms, but there's no way they're filling them all up at these prices. Just fix it up section by section."

"A clean and nice hotel for a night near the airport before departing. The staff were mostly helpful and friendly. However, amenities like places for food and convenience stores were terrible. The expo nearby was practically a ghost mall. Most stores close early or are expensive and have poor reviews (check Google Reviews). I suggest grabbing your own food from the city centre before getting there."

"We booked this hotel twice during our trip to Hong Kong. The first room we got was very disappointing. Even though we were told it was an upgraded room, the bathroom was in disrepair. Major renovation needs to be done. The staff were friendly and helpful to switch our room which was just barely better. Our second stay we got the similar room upgrade and again rust stains can be seen all over the bathroom wall tiles. If it weren’t for the location and staff, I would not recommend this hotel at all."

The Empire Club Lounge offers business travelers a full range of comprehensive business services including broadband Internet service, coffee/tea and refreshments as well as meeting room facilities.

"We were very disappointed with our stay at the Empire Hotel Kowloon. The room was extremely small and poorly laid out, especially the bathroom, which was very cramped and impractical. The window was tiny, letting in barely any natural light, which made the room feel even more claustrophobic. The furniture and building overall felt old and worn down, clearly in need of renovation. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the indoor pool — but to our surprise, it was closed for renovation during the peak summer season. This was not communicated clearly in advance, which felt misleading. To make matters worse, the cleanliness in the bathroom was far from acceptable. Overall, this hotel does not live up to its price or rating. We would not stay here again."

ZZwebenLocation is at the ferry terminals for Northpoint and Central. Love this.. No highway in bay view.. Hunghom has just about everything one needs with 2 or 3 blocks. Short list, restaurant mall, Aeon,Park and Shop.Paper Stone Bakery. Don Ding.. missing fast food venues, Fortress Electronics Lovely rooms.. but virtually no drawers.. no desk in the suites! No butler l, hooks closet for coats by the door. And someone is lecturing like bge managers, housekeeping the flowers mean bugs.. no it doesn't, and yes there should be bouquets . Great Red Sugar bar , currently for Tea and Happy Hours. Very good buffet and reasonably priced! Staff all wonderful and helpful. Watched sailboats in the bay when there was level one typhoon alert..but hotel had all doors locked tight except entrance..very odd.

Good
EEdiGThe hotel positions itself as a 4-star establishment, but it falls short of that mark. Here's a breakdown of my experience: Location: The location is excellent, if you don't mind a steep uphill walk. However, the entire island is built on different levels, which isn't a negative but rather a positive – a daily workout! There's a bus stop right by the hotel, making it easy to reach the metro instead of walking up and down, straining your leg muscles. Next door is a botanical and zoological garden where you can take a stroll. By the way, entry is free. A 10-minute walk down the hill leads to the cable car ”tram” stop for a trip to Victoria Peak. Check-in: Check-in was fast, but a USD 300 deposit is required, which isn't mentioned on either the trip.com website or the hotel's website. If you need an adapter for your electronic devices, ask for one right away – the receptionist won't offer it. Room: The room is relatively clean, though I did find some hair in the kitchen and on the bedding. For Hong Kong, the room is spacious, but there's nowhere to store a suitcase. You can set the temperature on the air conditioner, but it doesn't work. It only blows cold air, making the room humid. Kitchen: The kitchen is minimally equipped, but it's sufficient. However, upon check-in, they warn you that the stove can only be used for reheating food, not cooking, as the fire alarm system is very sensitive and might activate the siren due to hot steam. You must turn on the exhaust fan to full power and the air conditioner to avoid triggering the alarm. Why bother having a kitchen at all? Bathroom: The same situation as with the kitchen – you need to close the door and turn on the air conditioner at full power while showering to avoid the fire alarm being triggered by steam from the bathroom. The shower hose started leaking on the second day of my stay. It was replaced with a new one, which also leaked. When the technician replaced the hose, did he check if the equipment was working properly? I doubt it. Breakfast: Breakfast is only served from a menu, which is quite limited. It's delicious, but not diverse. Is this the service you'd expect from a 4-star hotel? The breakfast organization is chaotic – staff running around and clanging dishes. Two slow coffee machines and one toaster keep guests waiting in line. By the way, there are plastic mugs for tea and coffee. The only fruit options are two types of apples – red and green. Service: The service is polite, but I'd say it's ”on demand.” You need to ask for shampoo, shower gel, and dishwashing liquid to be refilled. The housekeeping, for some reason, doesn't notice the need to replenish hygiene products in the bathroom and kitchen. Environmentalism: As in all of Hong Kong, they no longer provide water in plastic bottles. That's good, but come up with an alternative so guests don't have to go to the store for water. In my opinion, this environmental concern is simply an opportunity to reduce service costs while maintaining high accommodation prices. Speaking of breakfast again, the jam and butter are provided in small plastic containers, just like on airplanes. Is this really about caring for the environment? Conclusion: Overall, it's a good choice if you're not bothered by the minor service inconsistencies and if you don't have high expectations for a 4-star hotel. If you're visiting Hong Kong, I'd recommend Two MacDonell Road.

JJoe LoongI had a fantastic stay at Hotel Madera in Hong Kong! The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from the MTR station, which made getting around the city a breeze. It's also surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants, so you’ll never run out of options for food or shopping. LLeslie Wai YunIt’s on HK island side. just one block away from the quarry bay mtr station. Even though it’s not right in the center of the tourist attractions, it’s a 15-20 min MTR ride to Central, it’s convenient enough and it’s definitely a good value considering its price. The room size is also bigger comparing other hotels of similar price. These two things were important to me. Hotel itself is fine, not a 5-star hotel, but we stayed very comfortably for the four nights. It’s a 3-in-1 shampoo conditioner body soap, so you may want to prepare your own if you don’t like it, or simply buy from shops nearby.

KKate20Panda Hotel is a good choice if you want a comfortable stay in Hong Kong at a reasonable price. The location is convenient, just a short walk to the MTR and surrounded by shops and restaurants. Rooms are spacious for Hong Kong standards and generally clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Facilities include a gym, seasonal outdoor pool, and a shopping mall downstairs. Some areas of the hotel are a bit old, and the air conditioning can be tricky to adjust, but overall it’s a great value for money. Perfect for families and travelers looking for convenience without spending too much.

MMahendra GrgRoom is Spacious with good sea view. We are upgraded to Deluxe suite in same floor cause we are 2 families. Location is bit far from the center but its in a peace environment. Swimming pool is ok for the kids. I am not satisfied with the Restaurant food. It will be good if the Vending machine has more food options so we will have more choices to eat. Overall ok to stay.
