"Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena A wonderful hotel. We were there in September, so my review isn't suitable for skiers. This one is for those who enjoy walks in the forest, around the town, sitting in restaurants, and relaxing in the spa. The location is excellent, close to a pedestrian street with all its cute restaurants and shops. Mountains and forests surround you. The air is amazing. The hotel itself is very nice, the rooms are spacious. The room has everything you need. The only thing I would improve is the lighting in the room. I didn't have enough light. The breakfast is amazing. Any egg dishes, lots of vegetables (and very tasty ones at that), cheeses, sausages, you can't list everything (although it's the same every day, but the choice is huge). The staff is very attentive. Any requests are fulfilled very quickly. Convenient valet parking. Excellent indoor pool. I thought the outdoor one was small. Good spa area, including an ice room (great to run into after the sauna). Bottom line: we really liked the hotel and will definitely return."

"This was, without exaggeration, the worst spa experience I have ever had, and I am still staying at the hotel, departing tomorrow. We booked two “relaxing” massages at St. George’s Ski Resort in Bansko, expecting a professional, calm, and premium experience. What we received instead was careless, uncomfortable, and completely unacceptable. To start with, the massage cabin had absolutely no atmosphere. It was brightly lit, with all lids and shutters completely open, allowing harsh daylight to flood the room. There was no effort made to create a relaxing environment. Throughout the entire session, children and people were constantly passing outside the cabin, completely eliminating any sense of privacy or tranquility. The therapists demonstrated a shocking lack of professionalism. Not once did either therapist ask whether the pressure was acceptable. When the therapist turned me over, he failed to place a towel over my eyes, leaving me fully exposed to the bright light and feeling even more uncomfortable. No medical or consultation form was provided before the massage, which is a basic and essential spa standard. I had to inform them three separate times that I am pregnant, and despite this, the pressure remained far too hard for a so called “relaxing” massage. This is not only negligent but potentially dangerous. After the session, I requested to speak with a manager. The manager was unable to speak English and instead brought me in front of the spa receptionist, forcing me to repeat all of my complaints publicly. They then proceeded to speak in their own language in front of me, which felt dismissive, rude, and highly unprofessional. Their response and attitude were completely unacceptable, especially given the high price charged for the massages. For a hotel that claims to offer quality services, this spa experience was far below any acceptable standard. There was no care, no professionalism, and no respect for the guest. I strongly advise anyone staying at St. George’s Ski Resort to avoid the spa entirely. It is a waste of money and does not meet even the most basic expectations of a hotel spa."

"The hotel's name claims to be the best of the best. The spa is, of course, magnificent. That was the main thing. I booked a room with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and three balconies. There's plenty of space, but I didn't really like the bed. The renovations were good after the renovation. Breakfast wasn't up to par for the fifth visit. It's served in the basement, not on the terrace with a beautiful view. People eat a lot and sometimes bring takeout bags. You won't get aesthetic pleasure, but you'll get a hearty meal of various dishes. There's not even any Lyutenitsa. I still think the hotel is decent and the town is worth a visit."
