"If you are looking for a quieter place near Bansko, Ruskovets is a very good option. It is located in Dobrinishte, surrounded by nature and fresh mountain air. We really enjoyed the location – close enough to Bansko, but without the noise and crowds. There are also great opportunities for hiking in the Pirin Mountains. The apartment was large and comfortable, more like a small home than a hotel room. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The SPA with mineral water is a big plus, especially after a day outside. A very good choice for people who prefer relax and nature over busy resorts."

"This was an Amazing Holiday in Bansko especially in this Hotel. It was an Excellent stay. Great Staff in which I also have to mention: Georgi, Mitko, Toni. They were really nice and Professional. "Spent a couple days for a ski weekend. The hotels has a good location towards the edge of Bansko right on the main road and just about a 5 min walk away from the centre and gondola lift. You will find several ski rentals stores & restaurants closeby. Stayed in a room/studio, equipped with a kitchen corner which wasn't used and other basic furniture. Bathroom is acceptable but not very spacious and shower not ideal due to water splashing out. The room also had also a little balcony with a view of the backyard. Tv didn't have too many channels and all local. The is a small indoor pool adjacent to lobby area and also a British style downstairs. Check in & out was smooth. All in all, it's an ok place for a short stay and a limited budget."

"We were given an extremely poorly maintained room. The toilet smelled like a public restroom, and the tiles were dirty. The hot-water tap for the jacuzzi barely worked. The jacuzzi was also not clean enough to use. The exterior door barely closed, and if you did not knock it properly, it would remain unlocked. The sofa was hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. The bedroom was filled with a strong smell of urine. The curtains were stained, and there were cigarette burn holes in the floor. The air conditioning did not work. There was no table or drying rack on the balcony, only two half-broken chairs. The swimming pool is far too small for the hotel's capacity, and the smell of chlorine was unbearable. I did not even go into it. There were no more than 6–7 sun loungers in the entire hotel courtyard, which is completely inadequate for the number of guests. I did not bother checking the rest of the facilities. Breakfast was mediocre, with stale food, and the coffee was practically just water. Our stay was cancelled prematurely. Although we were told that the amount paid for the unused night would be refunded, more than a week later we had not only still not received the refund, but the hotel also refused to respond when we asked why it had not been processed. This is the most unprofessional and poorly maintained place I have ever stayed at."

"Unfortunately, I DO NOT recommend this accommodation. Booked a cheap holiday to Bansko, Unfortunately the room was unclean and smelt. We deep cleaned the apartment day 1 which didn't reduce the smell. Not well equipt, hot water ran out, no hair dryer and outdated furniture. Double room was 2 singles pushed together. Spa was due to be included but was quoted $10 lev. Owners smoking in the restaurant. Spent as little time as possible in this accommodation. Which is unfortunate due to the cold weather."

"The off-season cost of this place was a bargain. We arrived early and it was open but there was nobody about, however once that was solved the couple in charge were extremely welcoming and helpful. Our room looked out to the mountains, it was clean and had colourful rugs and all the basic equipment. The bed was all right but a little concave, although I slept very well. Breakfast was what we wanted, so overall this was a good stay. It is about 15 minutes pleasant walk to the centre of town where there are plenty of restaurants. When I asked about a taxi to take us to the station the next morning we were offered a ride by the proprietor. That is good service. "
