I’ve enjoyed a most relaxing 3 night stay her. The highlights: the 2 tranquil swimming pools, the jacuzzi set in the gardens, the GARDENS - colorful, vibrant, happy and tropical, the setting higher up on the hillside so very very peaceful and tranquil (bird song all day long!), the yoga studio with a view - I recommend the sunset yoga session, the staff all very friendly and efficient, the owners who live on site very hospitable (I even got to watch rugby with the owner at the bar - super fun!!), the WiFi very fast, the complimentary transfers to and from Lovina main beach, and then the biggest highlight for me: swimming with dolphins on the wild!!! Alamanda has their own boat and captain (his wife is the receptionist), who was great on both trips. The reason I came to Lovina on my 3 week solo trip to Bali was to swim with the dolphins, so I did it both mornings. It was as beyond words magical and special. Definitely do the 8am tour as the sunrise earlier one is too busy. Although still busy, I saw a lot of dolphins. Somewhat sad as the boats chase the dolphins and it’s like a race between thank you boats, but for the few seconds they stand still and you look under the sea and see the dolphins, moment in time stands still and you are surrounded by a peace that can’t be described. I loved my experience with the dolphins, in Lovina and at Alamanda. Only downside: the resort rooms need a little upgrading including the towels and breakfast is basic, compared to other places I’ve stayed in Bali. Fruit isn’t on the menu but ask for it and they will provide. I would stay here again, for the setting and location 🙌🩷

Magnificent Retreat in the hills of Lovina. I was there for my honeymoon with my wife. The room is simply perfect, bed super comfortable, wide shower and the staff is so helpful and kind. We loved every second of it! They even wrote Happy Honeymoon by the pool with petals on our last morning. Definitely advised!!
