The ecology is very good, so you can see all kinds of small animals, including small snakes... There are performances every night. I watched a fire dance performance with a friend's family. The young actors worked very hard. The hotel has many activities every day, and there are three free ones, including two yoga classes and one forest trail inside the hotel. The breakfast and afternoon tea in the hotel are average, but the other dishes are good. We took the free shuttle bus to the vicinity of the palace every day, and there were many restaurants along the side roads. We also tried their SPA, which is very expensive, but the environment is really good, and there is a sense of nature in the wild, but to be honest, the technique is average. Overall, it was a good experience, but considering that the transportation in Ubud is too bad, I may not come again in the future 😆

The villa was incredibly tiny, the smallest I've ever seen. It was even smaller than a typical room.
The room facilities were also outdated, making the stay a poor experience.
The large pool was off-limits to children.
So, with children, there was only a small pool.
The service was okay, but this hotel is definitely not a 5-star resort.
It felt more like a 4-star resort.
It wasn't as beautiful as the marketing claims.

There aren't many five-star hotels in Ubud, so the facilities can't compare to Uluwatu Nusa Dua Cangu. The main purpose was to enjoy the natural atmosphere. Unfortunately, the hotel was clearly understaffed and underprofessional. Check-in and restaurant staff were slow, which affected the experience. The focus of this hotel is not on the room design and hygiene, but on the unique environment of the hotel. The walking trails, tennis classes, swimming pool design, and yoga classes are suitable for relaxing for a day or two.

Maya Ubud Resort enjoys its own tranquil river valley. The tranquility and beauty of the villas along the riverbank allow you to experience the tranquil beauty of Ubud. The resort is a good size, conveniently laid out, and well-maintained. The staff were warm and attentive throughout, the outdoor dinners were delicious, and you could enjoy traditional Indonesian dances. We had a wonderful few days here, making it a perfect choice for an Ubud vacation and I'd definitely return.

Aside from the smaller rooms, everything else is perfect, especially the outdoor areas, creating a perfect paradise for couples or families! Pools, spas, yoga, tennis courts, hiking, and even private garden barbecues are all featured!

Such a great great great experience
Everyone was so sweet, kind, and most importantly genuine.
This place surprised me and my family multiple times everyday- from cleaning our pool when we are out for breakfast silently, to fix our light in the pouring rain, to make us delicious coffee and great food, and coming to drive us everywhere at anytime- we will definitely come back.
Specially thanks to: Yoga, our great butler who is so kind and supportive to drive us around and provide help,
Sumi, who checked us in and booked the ATV with the best deal- made us realized that you don’t need to book them ahead! The hotel could offer the best package and driver! Also packed us delicious coffee when we were out of time!
AYU- so helpful in the restaurant and was so sweet and cute! Was always asking what can she offer to make us feel better! The smile is everything :)
Dyanita, Widana, and Putra: the sweetest people at the treebar! Awesome coffee, food, and service! Very easy to talk to and gave us beautiful flowers!
This hotel is definitely underrated, they all speak okay English and is always there to help and make your stay better! Definitely coming back with my family in the future.
