It's very quiet so you can stay privately.
All the staff are very friendly.
The breakfast is very generous, and they give you a welcome snack voucher when you visit. They give you pisang goreng and it's delicious!
You can rent a bicycle for free, and it seems like you can rent an umbrella in case of rain.
It's generally cold so you definitely need to bring a jacket.

I really enjoy my stay at Pondanu. The cabin is clean and very comfortable. The bed is comfortable and it has heater, which is really nice. The bathroom is spacious and clean, and they even gave an electric towel stand to dry your towel.A nice touch. The view from the room is dissapointing, though. I cant hardly see the lake. I purposely book "lake view" room so that I can see the lake. But the overall view from the hotel itself is great.
They have restaurant, so you can order food and drink from them, since there is no restaurant around.
You can canoeing or cycling for free, complementary of your booking. The staff is helpful and curteous too. I will definitely come back!!

Nice place. Load music from neighbouring site!
Wonderful place nicely decorated and gardened. Neighbouring camp site makes loud music for the whole lake untill 11pm and from 6:30am. Horrible if you were looking for a quiet peacefull paradise to enjoy. Only frogs and birds should be heard in concert.
Tent is damp with some mould. Ventilation is not mastered. Service here is excellent. Free bike and canoeing. Good restaurant. breakfast a la carte,no buffet.

Beautiful and memorable stay on Lake Beratan
A really beautiful stay in nature, on the lake and surrounded by the mountains— every morning we wake up to breathtaking natural sights! We opted for glamping so it was a new experience. Unfortunately the stay wasnt as peaceful as we hoped— the establishment is unfortunately in between two campsites with campers who made a lot of noise singing karaoke till late in the night (past 11pm) and blasted loud music early morning (when we woke up 7plus am for breakfast). At night the insect sounds were also very loud— you need to be really tired from day activities to be able to fall asleep at night from all that noise from insects and nearby campsites! Otherwise I would definitely recommend Pondanu Cabins— to be surrounded by such beauty of nature and delightful staff — is truly a blessing a life.

Great spot
It was a great time in a good location. They are easy to rent scooters at the hotel. Top location for checking out temple waterfall and just take a nice walk by the botanic Garden and also enjoy the lake
Food and service in the restaurant was great
We stayed in the deluxe tent with views over the lake and the mountains

highly recommend to stay once in a while at pondanu living to be exact, still with the same management and owner and the service provided is also extraordinary like part of the family itself... special thanks to Ajik for the sincere service and of course all the owners and the owner's family that I can't mention one by one... so appreciated for everythings

Unico problema l’odore di muffa nel bagno, ma è un odore tipico del lago non ci si può fare nulla
