Yangshuo Hotels with Balcony

We had a fantastic experience at the Liangsu hotel and we’d love to come back to visit again one day. Since the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and worked really hard to make our stay a special and memorable one. This is a luxury hotel but the staff made our stay a really personable experience with their kindness and care. From the little treats they provided us (thank you for the cake and balloons to celebrate our engagement!) to helping us book tickets to local attractions, they always tried hard to support us with our requests. As a couple from Spain and the UK, we were able to communicate easily with staff and they always tried to improve our experience. Our favourite things about the hotel: - Amazing room - Fantastic staff (a big shoutout to Lynn and Xixi, as well as our photographer Caicai) - Great breakfast - Very good location We’d recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Yangshuo, it’s a fantastic option.

The hotel is beautiful and the room is large with comfortable beds. The hotel has a pool, library and children’s playroom. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially 小开 and 小梁 who are very attentive and go out of their way to help us, like carrying our luggages to the outside, always letting us in or out of the elevator first. Also a young lady named 甜甜who works at the photo studio. She’s very honest and not pushy to sell. The only downside of this hotel is the location, it’s a bit of distance from the 西街 where all the nightlife is. It would be a great bonus if the hotel offers transportation for its guests.

Our stay at Xitang Riverview Hotel in Yangshuo was truly unforgettable. The view from our balcony room was nothing short of spectacular — two large windows and a small outdoor table offered a perfect vantage point over the river and the iconic karst mountains. The peaceful scenery changed throughout the day, and waking up to horses bathing in the river, cormorants drying their wings in the sun, hot air balloons floating over the peaks, and bamboo rafts gliding by was magical. The room also featured a lovely little tea corner, adding a cozy and authentic touch to the stay. One of the highlights was the complimentary afternoon tea served daily on the rooftop, complete with fresh fruit and sweet treats — a relaxing ritual with a breathtaking view. After exploring the area, taking a dip in the panoramic pool was the perfect way to unwind. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection and fresh options. Overall, the Xitang Riverview Hotel offers a serene and scenic experience that made our time in Yangshuo truly special.

Room was very clean, and toilet and shower were separate. Smoking was apparently permitted in rooms despite my request for a non-smoking room, but there was no smoke smell in the room and it was well ventilated with the attached balcony which faced the river and had pretty views. I had issues with the electricity tripping, but the front desk resolved this very quickly by giving me a card specifically for the power outlet in my room. The hotel had washers and dryers for clothes free to use for all guests and even an area with hangers and poles to air dry your laundry, but the time I was there, there were many insects at night (the hotel did put a warning sign at the door). The laundry also apparently closes at 11pm but I did not notice this until I was done with my laundry at 1am. The caretaker who did the evening rounds also did not chase me away and let me use the area until I completed my laundry. The hotel was located near the Longtoushan pier where the Li River Cruises end and disembark. It’s supposedly a 3-5-min walk from the pier to the hotel, but the area tends to be very crowded as all the cruises tend to arrive together (~1.30-2pm). The stretch of pavement from the pier to the street is also very bumpy and not luggage-friendly, but you may contact the hotel to fetch you with a buggy but they tend to be too busy to accommodate at that time too. Apart from this timing, the street is generally very quiet. If walking at night, i would recommend bringing a torch light as the street is very dark. It’s also a 10-15min walk away from Xijie (west street) where there are many food options and souvenirs. The hotel has an attached cafe and restaurant too if you just want to chill in the afternoon. It’s a little pricey for this area but overall a good and comfortable stay! The rooftop also has very pretty views of the mountains and the river, and a great place for some quiet time in the morning!

The hotel is surrounded by nature, a little secluded and far off from the main streets. However, e-hailing taxi / Didi are very accessible and convenient. The hotel staff are very friendly and attentive but language barrier may be a challenge if you do not speak Chinese. Best to communicate via WeChat / translation app. The hotel consist of several buildings, with building 3 and 4 being the newest. Restaurant is located in building 1 which you will need to walk over the lawn, slight inconvenient if it’s raining. We had our meals at the hotel a couple of times and the food was good - only Chinese cuisine was served. Breakfast was decent. What we love was that there are several activities throughout the day organised by the hotel to keep the little ones occupied. And there are different play area in each building. If you are looking for peaceful serene stay that is also family friendly, this is the perfect place. Overall, would recommend this place to friends and family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, even at late hours. The location is very close to a couple of the main attractions in the area and being used to a cooler climate we really appreciated the fast cooling A/C. The covered trip to Xi Street is a nice touch as well, as it was a solid night time activity.

This is a very quiet, clean and accommodating hotel. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. We asked for a King bed but it appears to be 2 queens (by North American standards). The beds are enormous! Please request for a non-smoking room if you detest smoking. We had a room with a balcony and view of the mountains and river. The other rooms had a tiny window, so upgrade to this room if your budget allows. There is complimentary bottled drinking water in the rooms and a complimentary drink upon arrival. The staff are very professional but do not really speak English. Bring a translator App. It’s very central and you can easily walk to the nightlife on West Street in 10 minutes. I would stay here again!

Unforgettable Stay at 聚龙小镇 I recently had the pleasure of staying at 聚龙小镇, and it was everything I hoped for and more! From the moment I arrived, the beautiful surroundings and luxurious ambiance set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The resort is located in a stunning area, surrounded by mountains. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and it truly felt like a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. My room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and offered a fantastic view of the mountains. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved the hot tub. One of the highlights of my stay was the wide range of activities and amenities available. There is free photography offered and everyday high tea and supper, there was always something to do. Dining at 聚龙小镇was also exceptional. The on-site restaurants offered a variety of delicious options. The staff was incredibly attentive, making sure dinner was a memorable experience. I particularly enjoyed the fish and chicken. What truly made this stay special, however, was the exceptional service. Every staff member went out of their way to ensure that my needs were met and that I felt pampered throughout my visit. From the concierge who helped me plan excursions to the housekeeping team who kept my room spotless, the level of service was top-notch. Overall, my stay at 聚龙小镇exceeded all expectations, and I can’t wait to return. Whether you’re looking for relaxation, adventure, or simply a luxurious getaway, this resort offers it all. Highly recommend!

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the SYYF Li River Courtyard Hotel in Guilin, and I am thrilled to share my wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the courteous and exceptionally helpful staff, who made me feel right at home. Their warm hospitality and eagerness to assist with any request truly enhanced my stay. The room facilities were outstanding. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. Everything in the room worked perfectly, including the heater, which was much appreciated during the cooler evenings. A delightful surprise was the provision of fresh fruits and free drinks in the mini bar, which were replenished throughout my two-day stay. This thoughtful gesture added a touch of luxury and convenience to my experience. Overall, my stay at SYYF Li River Courtyard Hotel was nothing short of excellent. The combination of exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, and thoughtful amenities made it an unforgettable visit. I am already looking forward to my next stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Guilin.

An extremely nice experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. The location is away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas and in an area with an amazing view within walking distance to the end of the bamboo rafting area too - so you can do that and finish up near your hotel 5-7 mins walk from your hotel!) The staff gave a very personal service. They were extremely polite and kind helping us book tickets for shows and trails. They also speak English well and if some staff don’t then they still do their best to help with translation via WeChat. They were very patient and kind. A special mention to If you think our service is satisfactory, Xiao Xiao and Yan Zi who were great amongst all the other staff! The room was very spacious and had a spectacular view. The amenities were great, the toothbrushes and other products like a comb and shaving kits were good quality and refilled everyday! The slippers were also very useful and good quality! If you just go for the view it will take your breath away but the breakfast (served in the fancy looking Cloud coffee shop) was also very nice and the room and staff were definitely a great added bonus!
