Holiday Inn Ashford - Central

The Holiday Inn staff are always smiling and every time they pass by the reception they are greeted warmly and feel like home. The hotel provides a buffet breakfast. There are not too many kinds of food, but it is good for us. Maria, the waiter in the restaurant, will say hello to each guest every day. During the conversation, we also deepened our understanding of the local culture. Other employees will be very busy in the restaurant and do everything. Sometimes there is a shortage of staff, and the chef will personally deliver hot food to the restaurant front desk, so that the guests can enjoy the rich as soon as possible. breakfast. All in all, I am very satisfied with the Holiday Inn Ashford.

Excellent choice for our stayover in Ashford. Very clean tidy room with awesomely comfortable bed that gave us a great night's sleep after a busy day. Adrian, the duty manager, was extremely helpful and friendly. No hesitation in recommending this lodge and we would stay here again. 5 stars.

What an amazing hidden gem this is. Nestled on a hill top overlooking the marshes with Warehorn church over the road, this pub with rooms is a must for a romantic get away. We arrived early and had a drink in the bar, which is beautifully quirky, a welcoming log fire burning and a wide selection of drinks. We had booked ”Niddy” an attic room with so much to give, a comfy bed, roll top bath, and so much character. The only ****** I had with the room, was the W.C squeezed into the roof space it was a little awkward to stand up and wee, but that's a small thing when it comes to such a great room. Requesting a quiet table for dinner, we were given one in a side area and again we couldn't believe it, it was super romantic and we had the whole room to ourselves. Our waiter Muli was so good, he was attentive but not intruding, and so funny, we haven't had many meals out and he really did make the evening. The food was excellent and the vegan burger was one of the best I have had. The location was brilliant, if you're into walking, cycling, birdwatching or wanting to visit local sites (rye was only 20min drive away) The rest of the staff were also brilliant, and couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely return.

Fantastic service. Quaint rooms, comfortable beds and great breakfast. Owners went out of their way to get vegetarian alternatives, and were generally very welcoming and friendly. Affordable and close proximity to Canterbury City, would 100% recommend to everyone. Also a gorgeous dog on site!

Just returned from a great Spa Hen weekend with 12 friends. We had a brilliant time. Easy check in, some of the rooms were ready others weren't so popped bags in the rooms that were ready. We enjoyed the lunch, which wasn't what i would have picked from any menu, but I was surprised how good, the poke bowl and fruit pot were. It arrived on a wooden tray in a paper bowl with lid, there was proper metal cutlery. It was tasty and was really fresh and quiet filling. We almost had the whole of the pool area to just our group for an hour, which was really ideal. It did get busier, but everyone was friendly and shared all amenities perfectly. Unfortunately, there was a shortage of gowns but we were given loads of towels. The pre ordered evening meal was good, lots of choice from and it was well cooked and presented. the meal came with ample jugs of cocktails to wash it down. There was a slight gap between courses, but it did allow us to play Hen Night Games. There were two other hen groups, but there was plenty of space and received great service all evening. we choose to carry on our party into the lounge area, rather than sit at the dinning table, which is huge but also cosy, so we configured our own lounge area to carry on our celebrations. Everyone's room was clean and not like any of the mouldy photos in other reviews. We were in 221,223,225,227 and a couple of other rooms. In 225 there was no milk on the hospitality tray also we managed to set off the fire alarm!! In one of the dressing table draws there is a very old wired in hair drier which began to smoke after a while! In the other draw is a much newer appliance, but did not find that until after we had borrowed one from another room! The breakfast is really good, so much choice. There is an egg man who will scramble or make you a pan cake. So much choice bread wise. I would have preferred, that tea/coffee bought to the table but the 'flasks' were better than a machine. After breakfast we indulged in treatments. Elena, my masseuse, was excellent. I feel like a new woman. Would come back? Yes, I would we had a great time. The service at times was slow, but this was made up by the friendly staff.
