"The room was bigger than expected and had a patio to sit out on, the bed was comfy and everything is situated a short walk from the mews rooms. I did notice the bathroom was a bit dirty and the hot water for the shower went completely this morning. The maintenance man had to come out and fix the boiler to rectify the issue. The location is absolutely stunning and the gardens are well kept. It is really a beautiful part of the UK and the main manor building is lovely. The gardenia restaurant is closed a few days of the week for dinner and also breakfast which I didn’t think was ideal. So we had to go outside to eat dinner as the spa restaurant wasn’t really what I was looking for, for a nice evening meal. For breakfast we had to go to the sage spa restaurant which had a very limited selection of food. There were about 6 dishes to choose from, they said The chef doesn’t cook scrambled egg which is a breakfast essential so I basically had to have a plate of toast. As there was nothing that I wanted on the menu and I was told the smoothie machine was broken so I couldn’t even opt for that instead. This happened straight after the hot water had gone so was a bit of a dampener. I came to the hotel a few years ago when you didn’t have to pay for the spa access but now you do which is a bit annoying. Especially as you can only visit during breakfast or dinner hours even with the £20 surcharge. So then you have to either eat very late at night or have a late lunch otherwise the £20 won’t be well spent and you’d have to leave the spa after an hour"

Premier Inn Ashford (Eureka Leisure Park) ★★★

"We won’t return here. The lift was broken meaning walking carrying luggage to 2nd floor. The room had no glasses to drink from, tired looking bathroom, and almost no toilet roll/tissue meaning a walk down the 2 flights of stairs to get more within an hour of arrival. We decided not to bother with the food there. It’s okay and functional and not expensive but all other Premier inns we’ve visited have been better."

"We stayed one night in a family room at this hotel. Compared to other Premier Inns, the room felt quite small and looked very worn. While the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, the food was disappointing. The fish and chips seemed overcooked, as if it had been fried twice in old oil. Breakfast was slightly better, but still nothing memorable. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here."

Premier Inn Ashford North ★★★

"Not as good as other Premier Inns I’ve stayed at (which is most of them). When I walked into the room the first thing that hit me was the immense heat. I knew there was no air con but the fan provided was terrible - not only one of the old-fashioned ones but absolutely filthy and dusty so I couldn’t put it on as I would have had dirt and dust blasted all over me. Other Premier Inns have much better and more modern fans. I went back down to reception to ask if I could be put in a room on the ground floor - all the Premier Inns I have stayed in this hot summer have accommodated my request for this but the receptionists here were not helpful and despite there being no other cars in the car park and my arriving bang on check-in time at 3 pm they said they were full. I asked for a different fan and one was brought to my room. Food is at the Beefeater opposite, sadly it is closing down but the staff still give fabulous service despite the knowledge that they are going to be losing their jobs soon, the full English gave me a great start to my day."

"Great place for an overnight stay.  The bed was comfortable, the cleaning couldn’t be faulted.  Self serve ice on level 2.  Bar and restaurant onsite. We had the included breakfast, which had a good selection.  We also dined in the restaurant for dinner, it was of good quality."
