"The room was very good, but too quiet at night, probably because it was the off-season. I initially thought that we were the only family staying at the hotel. I was a little scared when I couldn't see anyone smoking at the door at night. I didn't know until the next day that there were other guests nearby. I saw wild kangaroos, but the entrance was hard to find. I initially thought I had taken the wrong road. It was really wild."

"This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in for 1,280 yuan. It's called a hotel and it has 6 rooms in total. The lonely tree is located on the hillside of a relatively clean town and it takes 2.3 kilometers to walk down. This hotel does not have any service staff who will send emails when checking in, but there was no email information when I checked in, so I was very passive and contacted Ctrip immediately. I received an email from someone I didn't know who was staying with me that day. Others staying at the same price faced the sea and had a good view, but I faced the slope. Why was there such a big difference? The room is much smaller than Ctrip's standard area, about 12-13 square meters, which is very untrue. This time, Ctrip exaggerated the size of Australian tourist hotels. I think Ctrip should reflect on it. I am not the only one who has such feedback. The room was in extremely poor hygiene, with cobwebs and dust everywhere. There are no waiters in the hotel, and a restaurant should be considered the largest event venue. I advise friends who are going to Australia's Great Ocean Road not to stay at this hotel in a small town. There are many motels in the small town that are much better than this one."

Chocolate Gannets

"Fabulous relaxing stay at the beautiful Chocolate Gannets cottages. The view was superb and cottage was comfortably furnished with a beautiful double sided fire that was seen in the lounge and inside the lovely spa room. We would definitely recommend for a couples holiday. Even with another couple it would be comfortable as both bedrooms were well appointed. We absolutely loved the koalas living onsite above the villas and having the opportunity to gaze upon them in the wild was magical."

The majesty of The Great Ocean Road is exemplified within the sublime atmosphere of our middle cottage. The somewhat cold, stormy weather was a joy to hear and behold within the firelit serenity and warmth of the most accommodating thoughtful surrounds. Every room a treat. Bryan is a most welcoming, accommodating and informative host. A trip to the laundry, about a kilometer up the property's driveway we encountered koalas among the eucalypts and more stunning views on this beautiful property. Whenever fondly remembering our wonderfully coastal trip from Sydney to Adelaide our stay at Bryan and Joan's cottage will remain the wow, an extraordinary experience from driving onto the property to departure."

"Room was really spacious and kitchen came with basic seasoning namely salt and pepper. There were tons of cockatoos on the porch in the morning so it can be a bit noisy but most people would usually be up by then so it should be fine."
